That.....Um, not trying to be rude, but are you a feminist? Because that does not feel historically accurate to me at all.
But hey, this an althistory game!
Please allow me to introduce myself, I am a man of wealth and taste. Nice to meet you, hope you can guess my name.Yeah, I feel like diplomacy is going to be interesting for you.
Anyway, looks fine.
It's cobbled together from a few various nations which have had a matriarchal culture, such as some of the Tuareg peoples, some of the Filipino nations and some of the Turkic hordes who had a female form of a Khan rather than a male one.
Thank you! I'll get a map soon.

"Did you expect somebody else?"You're in Europe. This should be fun.
Please allow me to introduce myself, I am a man of wealth and taste. Nice to meet you, hope you can guess my name.: I don't really see why some of your unique units' stats were lowered, especially since we all have four points to allot into each one based on the original post.
Also would like to add that Talabec place seems to be a fictional location, as there didn't seem to be info on it on wikipedia (it's also the reason I didn't darken whatever province it would have been in). I just sorta went historical in sign-up because the history seemed convenient.
Also have updated map to reflect positions of capitals.◊
Still waiting on an elaboration/listing of how different mechanics work, beside basic combat and stuff, though I would like to see that consolidated in a single post (such as the initial post of the discussion thread).
I'll get around to adding that. But for now, on the map, I would like you to remove the bottom province in my nation for two smaller ones in the north east. Just to have more coastline, since its big in my culture.
Unless that's where Luxembourg is supposed to be.

@Skiller 2: The bottom-most province is where Luxembourg is. Or at least, that is the province of Luxembourg.
Ah, okay. It's fine then.
Might I have the coastline from Naples to the Toe of Italy?
Please allow me to introduce myself, I am a man of wealth and taste. Nice to meet you, hope you can guess my name.Cathari, how exactly are you making the maps? I might be able to do it for you.
@Skiller 2: I'm using Gimp to make the maps, though I am opposed to Vampire's request for the reasons explained below.
@Vampireandthen: Even though I'm not GM for this game, I'd rather not have any player have significantly more provinces than the other. Even though that territory would incorporate what might have been de jure boundaries for Sicily, you would have a much larger starting province count than the others. The only reason I left Transdanubia's province count at 9 was because those were the territories roughly delineated by RatherRandomRachel's original (though incomplete) signup. The Benelux region is also much larger that the territories delineated on the map, though it is the area delineated in order to balance the province count. One of the previous maps may have had your territory stretch to the toe, but I specifically removed some of those provinces to maintain a roughly equal province count between each player, especially since Osnaria and Tunis's domains are much smaller than before.
Unfortunately, I can't download that on my I Pad. Thanks for doing all of this, though.
Oh, and Vampire, your could perhaps trade Malta for another province.
Is there anything left to do?
Is this still a thing? I'd really like to see this take off
"One may feel fear in the face of danger so long as one banishes fear when danger actually arrives"I don't think it is.
However, I do have an idea in the works for a similar type of paradox/total war grand strategy rp, loosely inspired by this. I was sorta planning on making it an original, medieval-renaissance fantasy setting, though if there's greater demand for a more historical setting, then I could easily retool things to fit that setting, as I haven't really worked out all the mechanics yet.
It hasn't really been a high priority for me though, since I'm also running something else, so I don't really have a good time frame for when I would be able to set something like this up.
Yeah, it doesn't seem to be a thing.
If you're going to do that, I'd prefer an original setting.
All are significantly abnormal in a normal world... All are significantly normal in an abnormal world.Yeah, I think this is cancelled. I don't feel that I'm as skilled as I need to be to run this sort of thing. I asked if anyone else wants to run it, but I haven't got a response.

Ack... I feel like I could do this... I certainly would want to... although I soon have my exam period... I can try to somehow tho if the rest is still interested.
"One may feel fear in the face of danger so long as one banishes fear when danger actually arrives"
Basically done, any comments?
