I actually keep forgetting that Jedah is voiced by Sesshomaru

I only find it funny considering that Dante is based on Inu Yasha himself. Kinda like how Mega Man is based on Astro Boy or how Ryu is similar to Goku.

Anyways, as for Morrigan being Jedah's lover, I think it's because the writer assumed that no one would give a crap if they change up something with Darkstalkers characters because Darkstalkers is very obscure, and thus, a much smaller fanbase, than stuff like Street Fighter, Resident Evil, Devil May Cry, or Mega Man.

Why are people getting the impression they were lovers? Morrigan just did something out of character in which may or may not have Lilith speaking through Morrigan when it came to speaking about Jedah.

I'm thinking the writers just did that because they would have assumed that few people would actually care because of the obscurity of Darkstalkers.

The males anyway.

I just don't get why they said he was corrupted when he did not do anything out of character.

Shame we'll never get a new Darkstalkers game.

I only say Ryu is a scientist because it just sounds stupidly funny. He never actually said he was a scientist to begin with. If anything else, I was more under the impression he was their bodyguard/muscle.

Because the writers clearly didn't give two craps at the end of the day. Everything Jedah does was in character, well maybe except for having Symbiote abomination instead of a horrifying baby fetus.

The scientist line seems to have been intended to say that Ryu was WITH a research team, but it's so awkwardly phrased that it sounds like he was one of the research team. Him being there to help Bruce Banner control his Hulk powers would have actually been a really cool subplot if they bothered to focus on it. Or bothered to make an Injustice style prequel comic/manga.

They did, they still did a bad job. As much as I enjoy T'Challa & Monster Hunter taking on Man-Ape, Ratholos, & some yellow dragon, the writer didn't even a single clue on what Ryu does. They made him pilot a jet.

Ryu training Banner would be an interesting way to get a "Professor" type personality for the Hulk.

Question would it have been in character for Jedah to take a lover?

He's not fleshed out enough to call that.

If I'm not mistaken, the only female character allied with Jedah was Q-Bee. Even then, it was as the leader of the demon race he had as servants.

Of course given the direction the recent Street Fighter games went in terms of story, the cartoon doesn't seem that off.

To give you an idea how insane Jedah is, he has no likes or dislikes. Although I do vaguely recall that Jedah had bringing a new world order & himself as his likes, but I can't find this.

Ryu was an average scientist, but he was a brilliant fighter!

Rewatching this game's story mode, is Monster Hunter a warrior from WaVakanda, or is she part of the Capcom universe and she swore fealty to T'Challa?

My understanding is that Wakanda and the Monster Hunter setting were fused, and she is a citizen of the resulting nation who swore fealty to T'Challa.

And apparently she can't be T'Challa's royal guard because she's foreigner.

Unless “revisions” means “complete overhaul of the graphics, roster, and story” I’m skeptical. Still, the X-Men are no longer the thorny subject they were now that corporate overlords Disney owns those film rights.
