Two enemies down, but one of them had managed to survive. Still, it likely wouldn't be too difficult to finish him off, so Grendan could start moving forward. Not too far, though; he didn't want to leave his backup behind.

Move to S19 and prepare attack with Hand Axe.

"Ouch!" yelled out Railen as the mage gave him a little zap. Putting away his knives, he mumbled to himself, "Darn that stinged. Magic users and their stupid magic. Always burning, zapping, and all this other stuff," as he finished off the wounded Crown.

Move to R19 prepare attack with Zanbato

That lava vent burnt pretty hard. However, the training paid off as Damien powered through the pain and hid behind the stalagmite. Hopefully, the Crowned in this area are stupid enough to approach the area.

Move to N18 and defend for now. If possible, request a heal from Diane.

Zeera shot a look at Railen when he seemed to say some unkind things about magic, but otherwise she continued onto the stalagmite ahead.

Move to R20. Defend.

"Don't let them go!" Vera said as she flew further into the cave.

Adesa scowled. "So the cowards of the Council send their dogs to do their dirty work for them. Show them no mercy, loyal servants of the True Crown, and send them to the next world in the dragon's name!"

Railen dashed past his allies and then slipped past the mounted rider with great agility, twisting around to stab his wind caster friend once past him.

"Animals!" Vera shouted at the Crown magician, readying her bow. She made Athena weave around in a circle to flank the sorcerer from the side, attacking his mounted companion first.

Vera to P17 (WITHOUT going over the vents :P). Attack Crown 19 with Iron Bow.

"Oh, crap!" exclaimed Damien as Kiri got shredded by wind cutters and arrows. These guys will definitely pay in blood! No one will get away from the crime of killing a companion!

Luckily, Vera went for the mage and retaliates with a volley of her own. Damien follows up by tossing the poor horserider into the air. It was time for one of his clan's patented techniques! "Robin Special!"

Damien leaps into the air and catches the rider with his legs. He positions himself in a way that enables a triangle choke while maintaining a handstand.

Move to Q19 in a way that avoids the vents and attack Crown 19. If Crown 19 is dead before Damien attacks, defend.

Grendan spared Kiri's fallen form a glance before hefting his late mentor's axe and charging the enemy caster.

Move to R18, attack Crown 18 with Francesca.

Kiri was down, but people falling down in the middle of a fight wasn't all that uncommon of a thing.

If either Crown 18 or 19 is still alive, move to Q16 and attack whichever one of them is still alive with Flux Tome, prioritizing Crown 18 over 19.

Otherwise, move to S16 and defend.

Kiri knelt on the ground bloodied again. She was used to this by now. At least it was warm here.

They had only just arrived, and already Kiri had been downed. Hopefully this isn't any indication of how the rest of the battle would go, Michel thought.

If either Crown is alive, move to R19 and attack one of them, prioritizing 18 over 19. If they're both dead, move to R17 and defend.

The entry was cleared, and Kiri was- once again- back on her feet. Time to move on.

Kiri decided to get a move on. no matter how pleasantly warm this cave was, she had to go deeper if she wanted to get at the fool chasing a human crown. Once she got to her destination she saw that boulder was very much in her way.

Move to O13, Push the boulder.
