Kaguya Wants to be Confessed To

I sort of wish new girl won. I mean, her administrative would crumble in week anyway (as any megalomaniacs who believe they can tame forces far behind their ability comprehend). But it would be hilarious.

I think that would be funny as well. Would also be funny to see Subject F do her typical work in that situation.

Kind of like Iino's design, and she's just as loopy as the rest of them. In her own way, that is. Just like the rest of them.

Poor, poor Kaguya. Didn't even get to appear except in a panel where she wonders why she didn't appear.

Worst girl. No one gives a shit about her. It is known.

If this is going to continue, it reminds me of the "Blake is weak" thing that went on in the RWBY thread. Most people who bashed on her there were the ones who liked her and did it for funnies.

Kaguya ability to go from scheming to gushing in an instant is remarkable.

Dumbguya is too strong.

"Are you sane?" You know, of all characters who could legitimately say that line... which admittedly aren't that many in this series, she's really not one of them.

There's a fine line between strict rules students can agree are reasonable, and strict rules that just are too restrictive for their own good. Iino's not even close to that line.

I think it would be great to have her as an addition to the council cast. Regardless of who's actually the president.

New chapter out, in which Ishigami wants to assert not just victory, but absolute dominance. So people won't laugh at Iino. Man, that social awareness is very Hikigaya Hachiman.

Ishigami doesn't speak a lot, but when he does, people often listen. Not always, of course, considering the people surrounding him, but he does have a way with words. And recognising the effort of someone you say you should hate is admirable.

I mean, I don't think the stage fright is the main reason she can't win, I think the fact that she's wannabe draconian tyrant is the bigger factor. Though this chapter does a good job of making one forget that and make her looks sympathetic.

She is sympathetic. She just has a bit of a chip on her shoulder that's somewhat less sympathetic.

I mean, are people sympathetic for sticking to their ideals, even if those ideals are bad? I guess presentation is everything.

Not all of her ideals are bad, and it's more about the extent she's taking them. Which, to my very limited knowledge of Japanese schools, is reasonably more accurate to their real life rules than most anime.

You're saying that as if it's a bad thing.

If that ship sails, would it be Iino straightening Ishigami or Ishigami corrupting Iino? Stay tuned!

Hehe, it's not. I just get too eager to ship things.

Maybe a little of both. Although knowing this manga, Iino will probably be corrupted. XD

"Crew cuts are so cool!" - Well no we see the self-interest hidden behind phony talks of justice. How could anyone fall for that is beyond me.

I'm not quite sure all of that was phony. It was just a small object of desire that fell into her pile of justice.

So Iino's joining the council, right? I look forward to the new character dynamics she would bring.
