You know what I'd like to see in a DC and Marvel crossover?
Forget the Amalgams, forget the rigged fights. Just give us a series of What If? oneshots retelling Marvel and DC events but using the character sets of both companies.
Give us a Secret Wars book where the Beyonder summoned the Justice League and the Titans along with the Avengers and X-Men. Give us a Crisis book where the Sentry, Iron Man, Quasar, the Silver Surfer et all are joining the attack on the Anti-Monitor. Give us a Golden Age book with the Invaders Society of America fighting the Axis through World War II. Give us a Knightfall book where Daredevil helps the Batfamily against Bane and/or Azrael-Batman. Put some talent related to or able to follow the feel of the original books and let them fly. THAT would be awesome.
Squirrel Girl vs. Darkseid. Squirrel Girl ends up on Apokolips, and starts a revolution among the population, and befriends the army into joining her, and the New Gods are so impressed that they join the fight. And Darkseid is defeated and the sun shines once more on Apokolips.
Everyone would love it.
X-Men X-Pert, my blog where I talk about X-Men comics.Squirrel Girl/Justice League International.
Great Lakes Avengers vs. Section Eight, I guess.
I want to see the original Avengers fight Starro.
You're just in time. Bayble Cuber's going to watch an inkle dribble adventure from days of old on my holo-pyramid viewer.HYDRA and the League of Assassins join forces and incapacitate Batman and Nightwing, forcing Batwoman to join forces with Black Widow to thwart Talia al-Ghul's latest scheme.
Cassandra Cain and Shang Chi
Birds of Prey meets Heroes for Hire
Titans meets New Warriors
Deadpool V Deathstroke: War of the Wilsons
Gwenpool and Harley Quinn
Black Panther and Batman
She-Hulk and Wonder Woman
Ms Marvel and Batgirl
Spider-Man (Miles) and Beast Boy
Darkseid and Deadpool
MAC and Superman
Red Hood and Daredevil
Blue Marvel and Icon
Mera and Namor
Catwoman and Black Widow
Cyborg and Hulk (Cho)
Cisco Ramone and America Chavez
Ms Marvel and Booster Gold for literally no other reason than they are my two favorite superheroes.

X6 Wouldn't the League of Assassins teaming up with the Hand make more sense?
Also Spider-Gwen and Superwoman/Lana Lang.
Captain Marvel and Wonder Woman.
MAC would be a fun character to cross over because you wouldn't even need a reason for it. Batman's chilling in the Batcave trying to solve the latest crime and suddenly a star-shaped hole in the universe is kicked in and then MAC is there.

My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.are you aware of Vibe's new abilities? If so I think you'll agree that him meeting America will be cool.
Which sets of heroes or villains from both companies would go well (nor not so well) together?
I'm gonna go off-the-wall and suggest Eclipso from DC teaming up with Mr. Hyde from Marvel, since they have similar themes but opposite power sources—one's magic, the other's science.
The Protomen enhanced my life.
