Oh, I dunno, modern materials can take a great deal of heat, and even then the heat source needs to be right next to it to start having an effect.

So If Vox doesn't return, do we get an NPC head of security?

Vox said he'll get back to posting. If that doesn't happen, my first option is to go find a new player, then NPC.

Yeah, I'd like to apologize for not posting in so long.

Quick recap for secretlyasuperhero:

Over at the Engine Deck, an Ensign called in strange movements. Many Security/Engineering officers went down there and found a group of headcrabs- here called Leechticks- who are attracted to heat and seem to be very, very pregnant. These Leechticks are now being put in cages for transport.

Thanks. I'll quickly edit my post for more things that Kaylee will notice around Engineering.

EDIT: And done.

Security Report FJZ-2185, addendum by Sergeant Avitus: recommend ensign Nadir be placed under medical scrutiny for his uncanny ability to cause headaches and eye-muscle damage in coworkers.

Well, that took longer than necessary. I had this specific idea in mind for Zim's entrance, and it took me almost a week to realise it wasn't going to work.

Heads up: in the upcoming weeks, and most importantly in the last week of November and the first/second weeks of December, I'll be getting busier and busier. It might be a good idea to get a temporary GM so we can keep things moving.

So about a month ago I started mucking around with something as a joke, but then it got a little out of control and before I knew it I had a dumb little project on my hands. Pretty much finished it yesterday so, uh, Happy Halloween TBG!

(I fully admit about half of those edits could use touching up, but that'd require me not to be lazy.)

Yooo that's actually really great!

And I kinda want it to be canon that Ricco is wearing his shirt the wrong way and nobody bothered mentioning that.

I can't decide which is better- every single description, or the masterfully painted comic at the end. It's just...it's all...they're- (kisses fingertips) byootiful.

I was gonna say "-languishes in praise-" but apparently that word does not mean what I think it means.

Probably should have figured that out since it has 'anguish' in it and all.

Anyway thanks everyone waii

the 'anguish' part is a pretty good hint, lol.

But seriously, it's great! Now I'm practically obligated to post again sometime soon so Moloch doesn't poof away and render the image series inaccurate

Them's fightin' words, boy.

"But Sergeant Avitus, the leechticks didn't attack me-" "And for that we can all be disappointed."

Apology accepted.

Great job.

He wasn't exactly considering the dramedy duo part of the "we will hold", just him and P'li. Space Marines have a regrettable tendency to think of everyone that hasn't gone through their training and augmentation as near-useless, not helped by the fact that when they do work alongside regular forces, they work the grunts as hard as they do their brothers.
