All Purpose Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Chat Noir Thread

So, I haven't found a thread for Miraculous Ladybug, and so I made this instead. For all you Miraculours, this is the thread for your favourite fan fiction.

Cool. We probably needed one of these.

For reference Archive of Our Own currently has 6166 Miraculous Ladybug ficss.

While FFN has about 4.8 thousand.

I'd estimate at least 75% are cross posted.

I guess I'll start us off with some authors:The Last Pilot, notable for Won't Tell a Soul where Nino freaks out at finding out Marinette is Ladybug, freaks out further when Adrien confesses to being Char Noir, and then spends the rest od the story trying not too have a (hilarious) mental breakdown.

S. Kay Lanphear, who more or less writes a bunch of non-related stories, but is currently working on Serendipitous Fate, where Fu reveals Adrien and Marinette to each other on purpose to help their partnership grow.

BullySquadess AKA the SinMother which should be enough for you to understand why I'm not linking to any of her stories.

Also a story that I follow, A Werecat in London where an older Adrien and Marinette are in London and an encounter with other magical creatures causes Adrien to absorb Plagg and turn into a... well, werecat. Later chapters get a bit steamy.

I had the idea recently to create a rewrite incorporating elements of the PV with the current show. Hopefully, it works.

So... Had this idea for a Doppelganger Fic where Homura and Kirito are Ladybug and Cat Noir respectively...

So I haven't been reading much M Iraculous fanfic for a while.

But I stumbled upon this fic last night with the incredibly odd pairing of Gabrial Agreste and Jagged Stone.

I really liked it, the first couple of chapters mainly deal with Hawkmoth deciding to give up on bring back his wife. And it's the sort of fic that makes you stay up until you finish it.

I know a lot of people don't like slash, but I'd really recommend giving this one a shot.

Hmmm... I've found one, part of a trilogy, which moves the setting to London and gives an OC from the previous parts the Fox Miraculous (With proper justification) It's by episode two already, and appears to be the sequel to the sequel to Tales of a Reset Mind, an Inside Out Elsewhere Fic that demolishes the fourth wall. How we got from Inside Out to Miraculous I have no idea.

But I think it's rather good. The villain is a 'Falcon Writer' (Who is essentially a Hawkmoth with another name) who has the same powers as Hawkmoth WITHOUT the Butterfly Miraculous. The villains are interesting too. Maybe Gapman is a bit too hammy, but kudos to the author for not making the OC a Mary Sue. It's still under development, sadly.

So I was browsing AO 3 and came across this fic.

After reading the first couple of chapters The whole fic before finished this post. I thought of something.

It kind of bugs me how many authors have Nathalie get together with Gabe.

I guess it makes sense for fics written earlier on, but Hawkmoth does not seem like the kind of guy to remarry. And if he did I don't think he would Hawkmoth anymore.

Bump because I've been on a huuuge Miraculous fic kick recently. Not even sure why, but anyway.

Hero Chat might be my favorite (basically just "the heroes make a group chat and thus avert some major cases of Poor Communication Kills"), but anything by that author is great. In addition to the other fics in that particular AU, there's also The Murder of Lila Rossi (slight future fic), Monarch (Chloe uses the Bee to stun Hawkmoth and steal his Miraculous, then return to the other heroes), and a newer one Forged (Chloe after Miracle Queen becomes a new hero despite everyone hating her). In general the author is very good at writing anti-Lila and anti-Chameleon fics without descending into saltfic territory. Murder of Lila Rossi in particular did an excellent job of characterizing the students who sided with Lila and even having Lila be sympathetic despite, you know, getting murdered for being a lying bitch.

Speaking of Lila, Occam's Razor is a quick "Lila's lies are magical" fic that does that standard plot very well, with a great twist. Hard to talk about it without giving it away.

The Miraculous World of Caline Bustier is about how Ms Bustier figures out everyone's identities and does what she can to help. Gets into time travel in later chapters, which isn't the best, but it involves Marinette's future daughter having to set up her parents so that her older sister can be conceived, to the mortification of literally everyone.
