As I said in the Summer 2016 thread I honestly kind of felt bad for what happened to Frate, or well the whole situation in itself really. Nero wasn't wrong about the Galasias guy (or however you spell that) using him as a puppet. Frate clearly had some sort of depression issues stemming from insecurities and that guy literally drugged him to keep him that way. Thank god that asshole is dead. Never really quite liked him from the start. Angelo/Avillo is scary good at out manipulating everyone.....

Formerly known as Bleddyn And I am feeling like a ghost Resident Perky GothThe sad part is that both brothers were acting for what they thought was in the best interests of their family. Frate might have been insecure and depressed, but he let himself be used, I think, because he believed that becoming a puppet of the Galassias was the best way to survive. Nero wanted the Vanettis to be independent, to preserve their pride.
Of course, things could have turned out differently but a vengeful protagonist wasn't about to let things get cozy. He must have been really pissed to listen to Nero talk about the importance of family.

Yeah, that's partly what saddens me about it. Both brothers thought that they were protecting their family. It was a conflict that could of probably been solved by communicating with each other better from the beginning.
What caught me off guard was the sister being the one to shoot the Galasias guy, aka her husband. I did not expect her to be the one to do that. Infact I expected Angelo to do it. Well...he did kind of do it in a sense as he did plant the gun and the note and he is the planner that Nero refers to at this point.
And yeah I am pretty damn sure Angelo was pissed but hiding it really well when Nero was talking about his brother. Infact the line You will see him soon when you think about it has a more cold undertone to it.....

Formerly known as Bleddyn And I am feeling like a ghost Resident Perky GothI do hope Angelo can keep his vengeance up, because it's rare to have this kind of manipulative bastard as the hero. So far the series has gotten better and better with each episode.
The ending to episode 8 caught me completely off guard. This show is so consistently good! WOW!
The moment Fango let Corteo go I knew what was going to happen. Corteo's stress has been building up, even getting renounced by Avilio, and it culminates in an enthralling, visceral finish. All in all, it delivered the character development he had been lacking somewhat.
Still, with Fango and Scusa both dead... These will be strange, uncharted waters.
Y'know once I saw the start of the episode I had a feeling that Corteo was going to go into a bad place....
.....But, oh good god Corteo has had enough. Poor guy needs a hug. The fact that he was driven that far to brutally kill Fango out of all people is honestly really disturbing and sad.
I am honestly really curious on just were he is going to go from here. At this point I either see him becoming an outlaw, leaving town entirely, or taking Fango's stuff for himself. Either which way his path is unfortunately paved with blood now....
Also, something worth noting. I think Avillo knows that Corteo did it but I would assume that he is not going to do anything about simply because he is trying in his own way to make sure Corteo does not stick with him as he rather not he be a target. He might of been a dick about it but if you know anything about these Anti-Hero revenge stories you would know that the idea of pushing a friend or loved one away to avoid them getting killed by proxy isn't a uncommon occurrence....
Although I am sure he didn't quite account for Fango's role in this nor Corteo brutally killing him after finally having enough of being trodded upon...

Formerly known as Bleddyn And I am feeling like a ghost Resident Perky GothI guess you have a point about Avilio/Angelo's actions towards Corteo. I guess he didn't expect things to get this out of hand when he first came to Corteo for help.
About Fango's death: He was better off leaving Orco alive because it seems like he lost his edge and unpredictability when he became Don, which blinded him to unpredictable attacks from other people. In this case Corteo.
This week the uncle revealed as the 4th man
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession. It also seems like he might be the guy that sent Angelo the letter. I also think that he might very well of faked Corteo's escape. Hoping Angelo can do something about Corteo....

Formerly known as Bleddyn And I am feeling like a ghost Resident Perky GothThe real question is the why, though. Very intriguing.
Episode 10 came out and holy fuck is it depressing.
Formerly known as Bleddyn And I am feeling like a ghost Resident Perky GothShit. If he can kill Corteo, he can f@%k up anyone.
Angelo is pissed at Nero, that's for damn sure
Formerly known as Bleddyn And I am feeling like a ghost Resident Perky GothEpisode 11: Say hello to delusional no-holds-barred Avilio. Only Nero is still alive out of the four culprits, and he's in deep shit with the Galassias.
Holy shit when I thought that Angelo would go full force after the last episode he sure fucking delivered on that. He got everyone but Nero killed in one fell swoop. And I doubt that Gallasias's nephew will escape alive at this rate as well.
I actually kind of felt bad for Don Vanetti in this episode. The reveal that Tesla Legusa was his best friend put that particular plot point in a even more depressing light then before. The sheer shock and guilt in his face after he realizes whom Avillo actually is (his dead best friend's vengeful and broken son that got away) was kind of perfect for humanizing in some aspects. Oh and his dream just went up in gunfire. It was all for nothing indeed....
Formerly known as Bleddyn And I am feeling like a ghost Resident Perky GothAren't we forgetting about Ganzo? He was one of the four guys and he's still alive even after the playhouse massacre, am I wrong?

Ganzo was shot in the firefight that ensued after Angelo shot Gallasias. I doubt he is alive at this point.
Formerly known as Bleddyn And I am feeling like a ghost Resident Perky GothYeah, Strega Galassia shot Ganzo, and we can presume he's dead especially since it paves the finale for an Avilio vs Nero encounter.
Wonder what Strega will do with Avilio, though...
So Episode 12 is rather sad. It's basically another Nero and Avillo/Angelo trip but obviously with more tension and depressing moments. Angelo asks to be taken to the ocean and Nero complies. On the beach Nero takes a shot at Angelo but it's not made clear whether it was a fake out shot or we just aren't seeing Angelo's final moments. Some people think that Nero didn't kill Angelo and that they both are going to survive, thus breaking the cycle of revenge, or that he did kill him and that he knew that he was going to get killed by Gallasias thugs.

Formerly known as Bleddyn And I am feeling like a ghost Resident Perky GothEpisode Twelve was the perfect ending, sombre and melancholy and with just enough ambiguity to make it interesting. Very much like an old school mafia movie indeed.
For the uninitiated, 91 Days is, at its heart, a story of vengeance set in the Prohibition Era.
Episode 7: Oh boy. Angelo is not going to be as kind to Nero as he was to Vanno. He got Nero to kill his own brother, and is now going to become a sort of replacement. Screwed up, but man.
