Well the previous thread was locked for some reason, so I guess we can start a new one here.

My favorite part of the DCAU is the visuals.

I am more of a Marvel guy,but DAMN HOW I LOVE THAT ANIMATION.

I'm not Superman, not Batman, or Spiderman, or Aquaman, or a merman, or a wolfman. I'm not a brahman, or common, or a calman.

My favorite part of the DCAU will always be this episode and moment:

That one was great, though I always loved Flash talking to Trickster.

[up][up] I love it that Lex comes off looking both kinda cool and like an unmitigated ass in that episode.

We might as well rename this thread "Best Moment in Justice League Unlimited". Cause honestly we are just naming out favorite moments from said show.

Mines have to be the entire ending to "The Greatest Story Never Told" AKA "Gateway Episode To One of My Favorite DC Heroes"

That episode also got me into Booster Gold. Tom Everett Scott was perfect, so I'm a tad disappointed that he won't be playing Booster again in Justice League Action.

I agree. He was the go to Booster Gold VA. Especially in Batman The Brave and The Bold where he has a recurring role in the series.

Speaking of that show and JLA, it's kind of funny that Diedrich Bader is voicing said character now. Wonder how he will turn out once the episode is released . . .

Apparently, Genndy Tartakovsky was all set to direct a Superman short subject for DC Nation. He even did some concept art for it, as can be seen on the website comicbookresources.com. After seeing it, all I can say is, we got Teen Titans Go instead of this?

DCAU introduced me to Static, who compatrs with Captain America as my favorite superhero. I'm actually disappointed he didn't get to cameo in Teen Titans.

[up][up] Plus he actually became a member in the comics making one of the major positives to reading a Teen Titans comic during the 2000s.

But yeah of course he wouldn't appear in that show given the different universe BS. Would of been awesome if Justice League did do a Teen Titans based episode during Unlimited. Especially if it means seeing a member of the Bat Family involve directly in the plot, a good tie in to Wally's disgruntled attitude as feeling like the kid member of the founding members and an way to introduce Donna Troy to mainstream audience.

Well at least other teams like the Legion of Super-Heroes and The Seven Soldiers of Victory get a limelight episode.

I personally would've donated a huge sum of money to see that "Question: The animated series" the DCAU crew thought about making one time.It might be not original to say, but he was a personal highlight of mine.

Though I have to admit, a specific favorite moment of mine would have to be this:

You just gotta love a Villain that would spend time, money, and resources on a bogus campaign to piss their enemy off.

[up] Ha ha, I read the comments and they were bashing the new Lex Luthor played by Jesse Eisenberg.

For the record I haven't seen any of the DCEU movies. But from what I hear, the liberties they've taken with the characters sound like a big turn off.

You know, it really is a shame Static was never involved in the Cadmus story arc. There could have been some interesting ways to show how this conflict affected him. You could even have used him as part of the Ultimen until he learned what was really going on.

Not sure if this belongs here or not but apparently, according to Mark Hamill and Kevin Conroy, they're gonna adapt "A Death in the Family" and "Hush" in the next slate of animated films.

Hush is super boring and Under the Red Hood already adapted the only part of Death of the Family anyone actually remembers. Why bother.

You're just in time. Bayble Cuber's going to watch an inkle dribble adventure from days of old on my holo-pyramid viewer.

[up] Have to agree with you. Besides the whole Jason's mommy subplot and Joker becoming a diplomat of a hostile Arabic country, what else is there to adapt from that story? It will be like The Killing Joke all over again if they shoe horned in another unrelated story that have nothing to do with the actual one besides the character who gets victimized.

As for Hush . . . wait who was he again? Is he that one dude who was childhood friends with Bruce who grew up to become a scarred and deranged villain? Kind of a pointless villain when you considered the amount of similarities he have with Two Face.

Kind of begs the question why DC's not adapting any of the other storylines not relating to Batman like Crisis on Infinite Earths? Tying this back to the DCAU, I would like to see an adaption of that story using past DC cartoons as the many universe involved with the story. It would be cool seeing the Justice League interact with the alternate versions of them as they faced the event of their worlds being erased.

I'd love to see 'Crisis on Infinite Earths in animation, but it'd pretty much have to be as a mini-series to do it justice.

And, as much as I'd love to see them do movies with other characters, the Batman and Superman animated films have outsold the DC animated films NOT featuring them (with The Killing Joke making the most money of any of them, by quite a bit, probably because it had a theatrical release).

The only other project I've heard of is a Bruce Timm helmed Batman-Harley Quinn film.

I loved Hush so that's definitely the exciting news of the night to me, especially since as noted Under The Red Hood adapted the actual important parts of Death In The Family already.

That said, Hush is probably best done as a miniseries rather than a movie (I feel the same about Knightfall, if they were ever to do that), given the storyline's tendency to tell its plot through various separate incidents with the members of the Rogues Gallery and then only pull them together towards the end.

Though there's of course some stuff they could just cut out, like Harold.

Keep in mind that Conroy and Hamill SUGGESTED these ideas for future adaptations. Nothing has actually been confirmed.

The only official movies coming out soon from this line are Justice League Dark, Teen Titans: The Judas Contract, and Batman & Harley Quinn.

@Robbery Yeah Crisis was indeed a big story to compact in a movie. Which is why I think it should be multiple parts (3 or 4 films in total) rather than be one movie. After all they did that for The Dark Knight Returns and it manage to be a good adaption to that story.

I wish they'd just use Cassandra Cain so my sexual murder fantasies about her can finally have a voice that isn't Chloe Bennett or Katee Sackhoff.

They skipped Cain and put in Batwoman who I give zero craps about. and put in Batwoman and Damian, neither of whom I give a crap about. They'll probably throw in Stephanie Brown or that Misfit character before they do Cain.

Well I just finished watching all 6 DCAU series: Batman, Superman, Batman Beyond, Justice League, Static Shock, and Zeta Project. I had already seen all of those shows a long time ago, except for Zeta Project (for some strange reason I didn't remember or even knew that it existed, even though I used to watch Kids' WB and Cartoon Network all the time).

Speaking of those DCUAOM films, I hope they eventually re-explore that DCAU Future setting (involving the characters from Batman Beyond, Zeta Project, or the future of Justice League).
