lol.
That is really interesting motivation for him to help them Geez, they really were saved by his religion huh
Ah, so that's what he meant by his religion not allowing him to eat humans. They are just not kosher.
Also, I'm not sure what they expected to find at their destination. A giant neon sing saying "Escaped Human Children Help Center"?
It would explain why the regular demons would try to fight them. Pramatic reason bto keep the pact between worlds going even if it means most eat lesser products.
I do like that his words suggest Musica has never eaten humans.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.I guess they expected to find some kind of facility or settlement or secret base… But certainly not a whole lot of nothing.
I really like how Sung-Joo is completely unapologetic about his true motives. And how Musica is like "uh, well, okay." Values Dissonance at its finest.

Flippé de participer à ce grand souper, je veux juste m'occuper de taper mon propre tempo. These demons are getting more interesting by the chapter. Would love to know what kind of "pests" Sung-joo went to eliminate.
"You just don't understand because you've never had a reason to eat them, Musica." There's going to be a big reveal at some point about how eating humans is about more than just food for demons...

The way he says that makes me think that Sung-Joo has been around since before the promise. How long do they normally live, I wonder.

Well, the line between ritual slaughter and sacrifice has never been clear. Even without a Temple, kosher slaughter involves an Aaronite being given the foreleg and shoulder of the animal after blessing it, just like the peace/slaughter offerings in the Temple days. He normally sells it back to the slaughterhouse, at which point it's packed like any other meat. And in the Roman Empire, it was so common for meat that had been sacrificed to idols to wind up in the market or as dinner at a banquet that St. Paul had to establish a "don't ask, don't tell" policy for Christians, and many Christians became vegetarians rather than risk eating something that had been offered to an idol. I daresay that it wasn't until Christianity became widespread that "butcher" became a secular job, as in pretty much every religion up to that time, it was the job of a priest.
After reading the raws, it's even more explicit. He says "You've never had the need to eat them." Definitely intriguing.
Also, it seems like we're supposed to spell Mama's name "Izabella"…◊ Not that it changes much. And what kind of name is "Lannion"? >.>

Flippé de participer à ce grand souper, je veux juste m'occuper de taper mon propre tempo.New chapter out.
Why, hello there stranger.
Welcome to the bunker, we have fun and games.
That explains all the monitors!
…Well that was surprisingly easy. >.< Though I… don't trust this Minerva guy, really.
And I'm just realizing this must be the first time the kids see an adult man.

Flippé de participer à ce grand souper, je veux juste m'occuper de taper mon propre tempo.I'm not sure that's even Minerva.
It's a really good thing they ended up getting that pen. They'd be quite fucked by now without it.
"Canada Day is over, and now begins the endless dark of the Canada Night."Of course, now I'm extremely curious why Krone had it.
New chapter out and, as the saying goes, that escalated quickly.
…For some reason I have trouble liking this guy. >.>
So yeah, it wasn't Minerva. But he's the shadow of what the kids could become if they ever reach adulthood... Apparently the guy's basically just lazing around until he dies of old age, having lost all hope and purpose. =[ Unless he's up to more than just survive.
1.5 million copies, that's 300k per volume so far… Not too shabby for beginning authors.

Flippé de participer à ce grand souper, je veux juste m'occuper de taper mon propre tempo.Ha, someone pick up that phone because I fucking called it!
So Minerva hasn't visited the shelter for last couple of years at least. This could suggest he's dead, except... that guy is oddly well informed for someone who says he's been just hiding in there. He even knew exactly how long ago they escaped. He says he just guessed it, but something fishy about it.
Damn this manga's successful & its the author's starting work? That's really nice.
Well it deserves it, this is certainly the most unique & new manga to have come in recent years.
I have seen people theorizing that the guy is doing an elaborate test to see if the kids are worthy. It certainly makes sense, for one thing how can there be supplies that last over a decade?
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Yeah, I'm calling Secret Test of Character.
Considering the track record people have of calling Secret Test of Character with this series, I wouldn't be so sure.
Minerva compiling a huge stockpile of food that won't perish for years is neither impossible, nor particularly unlikely given the situation.
It depends on how many people the shelter was built for. A one day rations for 30 people is one month's worth for one person.
The fun in guessing is that you can't be certain you're right.
They could also end up killing the guy. Or disabling him in some way. Would still be fun.
Prison escape simulator doesn't sound half-bad, actually.
(Of course the game is probably going to be a VN or something)
