Not good in that they didn't have a plan in case Mama notices, but then again they didn't think Mama was THAT bad yet
I wonder if there's any significance to Isabella saving the toys. It seems pointless to keep them, unless maybe she does care for the kids deep down and wants them to serve as a memorial or something. Or as a hint because she knew that some children would be sneaking in there.
I wonder who William Minerva is. Is there really some human society out there? And what Promise?
Ah, those two idiots got themselves in a bind. They really didn't think things through.
That or recycling once enough kids who remember the toys are all gone.

Oh, man. Surely Isabella's aware of the intrusion now - presumably she'd have tried to use her key when entering the room, and god forbid Don and Gilda forgot to close doors behind them. Unless by some massive stroke of luck Isabella usually uses a specific key for that door rather than the master key Don stole.
I'm pretty impressed that Emma and Ray noticed the Morse code. Now I'm wondering why Norman didn't.
I'm super curious about the design that doesn't appear to mean anything in Morse. Like, are we talking seemingly random assortment of letters, or does the design not actually translate at all? Because the latter isn't traditionally possible; every combination of symbols is conventionally mapped onto something. Unless it's super long strings, but normally one would try to break those up?
Never mind, I misunderstood what you meant.

One of them looked like it was just unbroken line, so that might be it.
My guess is that they can form the entire message by taking all of Minerva's books in chronological order... I'm surprised that Isabella never suspected any on that, though (unless she did?)
Chapter out.
Damn it Don think about what you're doing before you act.
I bet that little kid will be key to helping them considering he even figured out Morse code and told Emma.
Meanwhile the evil Krone spied on them.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Goddammit Don, you don goofed.
The key to what?
To getting around the adults, since they'll be expecting the older kids are a threat. He's already shown he's figured out morse code on the stamps and he was shown to get high marks just like them the previous chapters.

Things are coming to a head and there's a pretty big curve ball thrown.
Two, in fact… Ugh, so that's what Ray meant by "saving only Norman and Emma". I still don't think Isabella is buying any of his bullshit, though.
Krone keeps on being hilariously scary.
Predictable move from Krone.
Krone can't be trusted. Use the poison on her after convincing her they're going to poison Mom.
I mean, trust is a strong word, but if she was going to rat them out to Isabella, she would've already. The fact that she decided to approach them and negotiate counts for a lot. They'll have to be careful of her, but if she's saying she's willing to work against Isabella, there's no reason to turn that offer down.
It might, however, be a good idea for Ray to tell Isabella about her. Let the adults distract each other from the kids.
Who said anything about ratting them out to Isabella? Krone wants to supplant Isabella. She is Isabella's enemy, but in no way on the side of the kids.
Yeah, Krone isn't going to help out Isabella but she certainly isn't going to help out the kids without tricking or betraying them.
This isn't a case of "the enemy of my enemy is my friend", it's more like "the enemy of my enemy is also my enemy too".
New chapter's out.
Can't say I was entirely surprised given the ending of the last chapter, but somehow it's more satisfying when you know that all the characters are basically waiting to see who blinks first.
Gotta love untrustworthy people partnering up with untrustworthy people.
Pretty good chapter, things are progressing nicely.
New chapter out. Don and Gilda are pretty good too.
