Okay, so I notice throughout the wiki, there's a few examples of something being the result of Memetic Mutation because of The Nostalgia Critic - in fact, one such example I can link to is on The Country Bears: it says one of Christopher Walken's lines, "This is not over! Bears!" is a result of Memetic Mutation, because of a Nostalgia Critic review. That seems to be all well and good . . . but, when I once added an example of something being the result of Memetic Mutation because of Nostalgia Critic, a mod deleted my edit on the grounds that it was a Shoehorned Example. So, what's the deal? Shouldn't these other examples be disallowed for being "shoehorned"?

The mods do not have omnipresent awareness; no troper does. If a problematic example isn't found and brought to attention, it won't ever get fixed.

With that said, you appear to be under an edit suspension (one that dates back over a year), and furthermore you decided to not reveal what this deleted example of yours actually was or where it was located. Those details don't make me inclined to believe you're telling the whole story here.

  1. You are edit banned (a second time) and haven't appealed.
  2. Since your ban, your only contributions have been to complain on the forums about wiki policies.
  3. Because of these things, we're now going to turn off all your privileges: no forums, PMs, or anything except the appeals thread.
