Get Jiro!

I am wondering if there are any other people who have read this comic.

I was gifted it for my birthday as well as the prequel-comic. I actually haven't gotten around to reading the prequel yet, but I read the original "Get Jiro!" cover to cover as soon as I opened it.

It's a comic written by famed chef and writer, Anthony Bourdain. It is a dark-humor action-sendup of chef and food culture that takes place in an alternate-universe / post-apocalyptic Los Angeles ruled and contested over by two chef-warlords and their gangs and both of them vy for the attentions of a master sushi chef working in a humble part of town by the name of Jiro.

I'm just wondering if anyone here besides me has even read it, much less if it has a fandom. I've also given thought (after I get around to reading the prequel and doing some re-reading) of stating a Tropes page for it because the last I saw, it was a Red Link on Anthony Bourdain's page.

I read them both! It was so odd to read it right after reading "Medium Raw"; Bourdain almost quotes himself word for word in some passages. Or one of the other authors was quoting him. But it was a lot of fun for a one-shot! "Blood and Sushi" was cool too.

I made a page for it if there was anything you guys wanted to add.

Try to refrain adding anything from Get Jiro: Blood and Sushi onto it because I'll make a separate page for that after I've read it.
