I don't agree with the OP's argument, but is the pic even an example of the trope?
^ Apparently yes. "Coincidentally, a UK comic strip of the same name debuted in the same month. The two are not related and change their names subtly in each other's respective home bases to avoid confusion."
Hmmm...well, in that case is far superior to the current.
4 is a good replacement, I think.
(Annoyed grunt)That pic is better even without the name.

4 works much better.
she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportI can't help but think we could use an actual logo for the Beano version instead of just Comic Sans.
Admittedly, most of the results on GIS for "Beano Dennis the Menace logo" bring up "Dennis and Gnasher" instead (which wouldn't exactly sell the trope), but maybe crop something out of this book cover◊?
Moon◊It's probably easiest to get a crop from 11.1 or 11.2.
Yeah, I think 11.2 oughta do it.

Check out my fanfiction!Clock is set. I'm good to stick with 4 unless someone comes up with a different comparison pic between the two Dennises.

You need to read the caption to know that both boys are named Dennis the Menace. Perhaps we should include the name in the picture.
