Always nice to see my favorites characters eating stuff. And it seems like the fun lasted until this week. Now it's time for full despair.

Hiyoko trolling Ibuki in Mario Kart is probably the first time I found her bullying entertaining.
Shit goes down next week.
Dammit Hinata I want to be whisked away by a cute gaming addict too
THE FUTURE 2:
I knew Bandai wasn't gonna live, given the track record of non-standard characters in this verse. But darn it, I truly, wishfully thought that Aoi was gonna make it to the end. I did entertain the thought of her dying, but not this early!
It's like the creators intentionally offed the most kindred spirits first...
Finding the traitor is deadlier this time around, indeed...
Makoto's forbidden act is simply funny. Lucky and unlucky at the same time.
THE DESPAIR 2:
Wow, bulky Akane looked so epic!
Indeed, games can create bonds. A valuable lesson for the great gamer girl. Also, lots of nice gaming shout outs. As an added bonus, she became the class rep without much of a fuss. Indeed, she was their hope. Which more than likely played a part in them becoming the ROD.
That was an interesting lunchtime. Thanks for that, Hiyoko.
Huh, I don't I remember any mentions of Kuzuryuu's sister being transferred to the Reserve Course. This is gonna be interesting.
Buff Akane was a Hunter x Hunter reference, with Souda throwing in a Yu Yu Hakusho reference for good measure.
So I haven't seen either anime yet, but something just struck me...
How the heck is Chiaki there?
We don't really know. The main theory is that The AI Chiaki was based off a real person, who's gonna die.
"Canada Day is over, and now begins the endless dark of the Canada Night."That's more of a logical conclusion than a theory.
So apparently Aoi's still alive. I think the only explanation is that the corpse we saw last week was a decoy/body double, because this series has always been fairly realistic with how fatal certain wounds can get, and I highly doubt anyone could survive losing that much blood, especially since it seemed to have happened right after everyone got knocked out and they were apparently out for a while.
Shamelessly plugging my comics, Oh yes.I looked at the first few minutes of the new episode unsubbed. Asahina is alive, but Gozu is dead. Well... at least both of them aren't dead.
Yet.
The way the knife fell off of her, it looks like she wasn't stabbed, but was just covered in someone else's blood. Likely Gozu's.

That was such a troll. Both on the creator's part and the killer's part.
But hmm. There had to be some reason the killer bothered to fake kill Asahina. For some reason, they needed Naegi to be distracted when he first woke up. Can't draw conclusions from that yet, just filing that information away for future reference.
"Canada Day is over, and now begins the endless dark of the Canada Night."Fucking hell, there goes all my stuff out the window.
Just going to keep my mouth shut from now on in regards to theories and predictions.
Oh, and now that Gozu's too dead to be the traitor, I'm switching my suspicions over to Kizakura. If you think about it, he would've come into contact with Junko before anyone else, and was the one who let her into Hope's Peak.
"Canada Day is over, and now begins the endless dark of the Canada Night."My Kimura theory is still holding strong.
I have to agree with you. Whoever thought Asahina should live and the Great Gozu needed to die definitely needs to get demoted of fired. Asahina would have given MUCH more emotional impact.
My theory for the Attacker is that it's Sakakura. As mentioned it's pretty much impossible for the Attacker to win as it will start to become obvious who the Attacker is as people disappear. However I do think that Sakakura is on Munakata's side.
My theory is that Sakakura agreed to serve as the attacker and aid Monokuma's controller in order to remove people from the Future Foundiation that he believed were holding Munakata back from taking over and destroying despair. Yukizome was eliminated because he felt she was softening him and holding him back. Gozu was killed because he had always opposed them. (Bandai was killed by accident as I don't think the attacker knows the forbidden actions.) I am guessing he would kept Neagi alive despite his hatred of him, so most people like Munakata would focus on him.
If I am right he will want to kill the ex head master during the attack phase, so Munakata can take over the Future Foundation. After that it's just a matter of killing Neagi and his allies while they are awake then stopping the killing.
I'm glad they didn't kill Aoi, but making it a fake out was dumb. I don't even see a reason for it in universe.
I made an oath after Episode 2 that I will watch the show without giving into despair. Yukizome died. Gozu died, even if Asahina lived. And so far... I haven't despaired.
Come and get my despair, you goddamn bear, because you will never have it!
The only plausible explanation is that the attacker thought it was funny. That was the only good thing about this ridiculous fakeout actually. If the attacker has that kind of sense of humor, it means they understand Junko better than Monaka ever did.
Yeah, I'm still convinced on Kimura, but you're theory is really solid and would indeed result in a better plot if it is real. It fits Sakakura's character profile (which says he is "willing to pull any dirty trick to bring the Foundation closer to Munakata's ideals") and also fits his usual modus operandi (as we see all the unnecessary circus he sets up in Killer Killer just to investigate a member of his own branch). That was an excellent theory and I fully support.

Why do you think it's Kimura again.
- She is one of the few characters with no established motivations yet. Instead, her character profile just says "her mask makes her expressions hard to read, so no one knows what she is thinking", which is a very useful trait for the traitor.
- The most obvious line of thought to the audience is to completely discredit Andou due to her Alpha Bitch status. Having her being completely right would be a smooth but efficient twist.
- The first attack was different from the rest. In all sunsequent attacks, everyone is injected with the sleeping drug, but the traitor gets a smaller dose in order to wake up earlier and kill. However, in the first one, everyone was equally attacked with gas bombs but the traitor somehow managed wake up first and do their job. The only explained I could think of to how that happened is because the traitor have been wearing a filtration mask all along.
- This particular point is not as strong as the other 3 above but, her talent is suitable to making the drugs used in the game.
interesting to hear from Munakata's perspective. Made sense. "Too bad this wasn't a class trial", huh.
I have a feeling wheelchair girl is lying about her NG code. I don't want her to be the killer, but she's suspicious.
Also, Mono Lisa hahahaha

She's definitely lying. She's clearly shown turning right in the previous episode.
The first rule of mysteries is that the most suspicious person is a red herring. There's no impact unless it's someone you want to trust.
People with wheelchairs are historically untrustworthy in this series.
This song needs more love.
He has a gentle nature. So he doesn't anyone to suffer.
Side despair was side lust for today.
