Can they count as animated music videos?

Plenty of rhythm games like DJ Max and Pump it Up use background animations for screen filler, and some even tell stories. Do you think they can qualify as variations of music videos proper, considering that the animated music video page includes classic Disney shorts. They could even be included as variations of notable music videos if any Background Animations (BGAS) are considered to be popular/iconic.

Other than the occasional use of actual music videos, which does happen in these kinds of games, I think most of them do not. For the same reason that you do not conflate videogame Cutscenes with animated or live action Shorts.
