Ranma Saotome, Logged Area

"Nuh-uh girly, ain't gonna happen except on my own terms." The red-haired girl stated rather briskly as she continued her lifelong tradition of commentating during combat, a core concept learned from the Saotome School in order to keep the opponents off balance by pissing the hell out of them. Instead of trying to force herself out of the way of the hoola hooping of dismemberment, the pigtailed martial artist simply smashed the pointed blade of her stave into the ground before using the momentum of the swing to unlock the mechanism of her special weapon- the thing being hinged so that the keen edge could actually be turned into an impromptu ax.

Flopping to the ground while still hanging onto the shaft like a particularly adroit carp, the girl instant flash froze the ground with the Gekkaja in order to mess with Tira some more. Feeling a rather noticeable breeziness on her back and realizing that Tira had managed to get the fluttering back part of her outfit cut with the beady looking ring, Ranma's face congealed at the thought of having to go around with her back and sides showing in this inhospitable location. "Okay crazy, you want screaming? I'll give you screaming! MOKO TAKABISHA!" A flare of red blossoming in her outstretched palm, the prone girl blew a high speed soft-ball sized orb of ki towards the assassin's center of mass.

Behind the Church

It appeared as if the martial artist wouldn't go down easy, which meant Aria was going to have to up the ante against Chun-Li if she was going to at least beat out the human for fan approval. Various possibilities calculated themselves out in her head, each one being assessed for their risk and reward, and what potential reactions they might elicit. Finally, she settled on a risky tactic that she hoped would pay off.

Aria started using tongue.

Church

Inside the church, all gunfire ceased as the gunman's jaws dropped. Curious at the lack of gunfire, others looked over the cover only to be shocked by the scandalous (By 18XX standards anyway) scene in front of them. One particularly religious woman shreaked in horror. On the other side of the church, a young boy scratched his head.

"Pa, why are those two women kissing each other? I thought you said only-"

He was cut off as the father in question suddenly slapped his hands over the boys eyes and mouth to protect his innocence from being stolen by the two women.

And across the multiverse, a massive fanbase of shippers roared their approval.

Tira (Forest)-Surprise!

Tira's anger only increased as the girl froze the ground around them, causing her to stagger for a moment before regaining her footing. This gave the woman an opening to launch some sort of blast at her. She wasen't sure what it was, but that wasen't really too important, she assumed getting hit by it, whatever it was, would be bad. Usually she would have just jumped over it, the motion and yelling allowing plenty of time to prepare. But with the ground now iced up, that would prove to be impossible. Briefly, she thought to try to hit her with the blade, but the blast was too quick, and she was hit. Had the ground been normal, she might have managed to stay on her feet, but with the ice covering it, she slid backward and fell backward.

However, she went back far enough that she was now off of the ice, and as she went down she stretched out her arms, swiftly flipping backward and catching herself on her hands before returning to her feet, grabbing with her P90 "Soulgun" with one as she flipped to her feet. Wasting no time, she unleashed a steady stream of fire at Ranma, counting on the fact that the ice would impede her own efforts to dodge the same way it had done to her.

Genos—Eden's Gate Church Entrance—In Fact It Was A Little, Bit, Fright-ning (Nuh-Nuh-Nuh-Nuh-Nuh-Nuh, Nuh-Nuh-Nuuuuh)

As Penemue wormed his way into Genos's cybernetic vertices, he would find it a far different landscape than the battleground of 41st cybernetic warfare. Partly because it was about two centuries out of date, and that most of the hacker's issues would come from the disparate compatibilities of their technologies than any real defense put up by the cyborg's firewalls. But more than that, it was also a little more animated. In that there was literally an 8-bit recreation of man with strange hair waiting to meet him, cycling through an 8 frame animation of smoking an old-timey pipe.

"Why hello there, Genos." He said with a genial grin, in between the parts of his animation where he smoked the pipe, the action serving as a sentence break. "I see you want to overload the main core, and self-destruct." Pipe smoke. "I'm sure you have a good reason for doing it. But since that incident with the Mosquito Woman, I've installed some failsafes." Pipe smoke. "It will take just about five minutes to override the physical safety protocols keeping your core from going critical." Pipe smoke. "In the meantime, I'd like to take the opportunity to list off the reasons why you shouldn't use this technique, even if you feel that you have no other choice..."

Even as a timer in the corner of Penemue's vision began counting down from 5:17, the recreation of Dr. Kuseno would, with a stern, father-like authority, list off all the reasons why he really shouldn't self-destruct, from the immense collatoral damage, to the destruction of his proprietary weaponry, and to the simple fact that it would kill Genos for real, permanently. He would harp on that point a lot.

If Penemue decided that he needed something to happen just a tad more urgently, he might try directly manipulating one of the weapons systems/power relays/limb controls, to get a more immediate response.

Meanwhile, Genos's eyes widened in surprise as his punch met the first blow of Juri's Senpusha at a right angle, sending his punch ripping harmlessly through the space a few feet above where her head had previously occupied. In that moment, as her purple-tinted kick met his orange-wreathed elbow, he understood what kind of opponent he was facing, that would use his own momentum to their advantage. That became a whole lot clearer as her second kick then went and connected, slamming into his chin and lifting his feet off the ground in a crude diagonal direction.

Eyes closed from the momentary pain as he felt a tooth jostle loose, he noticed for the first time an icon in the corner of his vision alerting him to an attempted cybernetic intrusion.

Countdown to Self-Destruct: 5:01, 5:00, 4:59...

His eyes snapped open. Someone was trying to kill him. And in just under five minutes, they'd succeed. He either had to take action right away, or face oblivion. But as a third assailant cropped up in his peripheral vision, Genos's fingers splayed; he'd already made his choice. He'd died for this village once, already.

The thrusters on Genos's shoulders opened and bloomed to life before he had quite finished his downward descent, letting off one quick surge of fiery propulsion that had him going from descending while leaning back to ascending with arm outstretched. Genos would then attempt a grab at the leaping vampire's ankle to arrest his momentum in place, and if Genos was successful, he would then attempt to yank Jan back in order to further attempt to toss him into Juri down below.

"Do not worry about that!" He said to her, blond hair fluttering about from the force of his thrusters.

If I had that kind of power, I'd have dropped a meteor on your house ages ago~

Reaper- Tira's group

Reaper threw away both of his now empty shotguns. He was keeping whoever was attempting to snipe him suppressed, but right now he needs to get up close and personal to him and finish the job. Right now his shadow step needed time before he could use it again...but he once he did...his soul will belong to him.

Reaper quickly sprinted out of cover, pulling out two new shotguns from his coat and started to once again fire at Sousuke's position, firing at him and attempting to keep him pinned down while he was slowly closing in on the heroes position.

"You're a dead man walking.."

Master Chief- Ambush Group

"We'll see about that."

The Spartan responded to Wulfrik, he attempted to fire with his assault rifle at Wulfrik's head, as it seemed the most vulnerable part of him, though Wulfrik's large shield didn't exactly allowed Chief any opportunity of being able to do that at all. The spartan attempted to keep his distance from the lumbering warrior of Chaos, as he was slowly closing in on their positions by every second that was passing.

Nue - What Happens In Church

At first, Nue was a bit confused by the lack of reactions from the humans to the monsters in their midst. Then she turned to see what they were looking at.

"...oh my."

Apparently, a Hero had approached them from behind and Aria had responded by...launching a surprise make-out session with said person. How lewd. Nue craned her neck to get a better look.

Menardi - In A Different Kind Of Embrace

The beast had better reflexes than Menardi had given him credit for, it seemed. She was thankful of the defensive Psynergy she had put into place before engaging him in battle. While his punches were still painful enough by half, it meant that her arm and ribs would remain intact for a moment longer. At least long enough to respond with a point-black attack. In Menardi's world, red and fire-affinity indicated a weakness to Mercury Psynergy, to ice and water. Let's see if that also was true for this brute.

Menardi charged up Mercury Psynergy to cover herself in icy stalagmites. An application of the Megacool Psynergy, it made large shards of ice form all over her body in a strange kind of spiked armour, like an elemental porcupine, to force the demon off her. Then she launched the ice outwards, the stalagmites transitioning from armour into a barrage of projectiles.

Penemue, Apparently Talking To Some Geriatric
After breaking through defenses, trying to make sense of the archaic and alien architecture this system was running all in the span of millionths of a second, he found himself loaded into...something. In all his years of hijacking systems and breaking through defenses, this was most definitely the singular most out there of all of them. Penemue almost broke his concentration with how strange it came off, that instead of trying to tear apart his head (both mentally and physically) it was just some strange little man, talking to him.

"I am not GenOS, or running that system," he uselessly transmitted to the pixel doctor. "I am here to exact the right of the...Ah! You motherfucking bastard!" He'd been had! This wasn't some kind of experimental on-board AI at all, it was just a splash screen! He tried to force his way into some other system, and while that was happening he listened to the old man rattle away.

It was strange how he had somehow managed to break in on and run a legitimate program, but the intricacies of this system were a mystery. Let alone what would lead to a five minute wait time on a self-destruct sequence...

Even if this system wasn't going to respond at all, he decided to send another message to it: "For the good of humanity, I will cease your endless yammering!" While turning off this message was a secondary priority, he hit gold with the primary. Opening the subsystems for his vision, Penemue tried to interfere with it in every possible way. Ideally he could shut it off, or at least make it so hard to see out of he might as well be blinded, but if it succeeded in the most minimal way Genos would see a thick orange filter, with a strobing neon symbol of a very friendly-looking face.

Jan

And of course, that guy had to grab him at the last possible moment.

"Motherfu-!" Before he could finish, Jan was already mid-air on a crash course with Juri. Of course, he was not going to take that lying down: both of his P90's leveled down on Genos, spitting out lead in frightening numbers. Cyborg he might have been, he likely wasn;t completely bulletproof.

Thinking about this, he preferred to smack into Juri than, say, Penemue in his tough-as-shit plate. Always better to tumble down with a lady, even if she was a little crazy.

Graham

Kage had been half-right on his assessment of the situation.

Graham took a moment to reload behind his own flimsy cover before the grenade went over to meet him. He was confident he could survive that, but something told him that even with Providence by his side it would do more than the usual explosive. Thus, Graham left his cover in a big sideways lunge, not unlike the one he did earlier, firing twice at Kage's position and hoping the grenade was far enough away to not rough him up too much.

Because Kage had been half-right. The villains were in, but they were not victors yet. If God willed, he would ward all townspeople he could from death.

He took aim at Penemue and closed one eye before firing twice, aiming at his head.

Corpse Party

Between the C4 exploding and Yumil's grenade, the party of the undead seemed to be doing fine, all things considered. There were still a good number of them and though they sustained damage - some were ripped in half, some just missed a limb or two - they were more than happy to continue firing away at Gemini and anyone foolish enough to walk into the rain of lead.

But then Superman happened. Their attention was on him, but primitive firearms could do little harm to such a character, even if wounded and weakened. Their numbers rapidly decreased and soon they were strewn just about everywhere, some alive - for lack of a better term - and some out cold.

Two exceptions managed to escape from the death and destruction that was Superman and the explosions: Brooks and the mayor. Whether it was Jan's subconscious desire driving them or was it a hint of lost intelligence they shambled forward with an aim of reaching where their Master couldn't, towards the slightly ajar church doors.

Compared to everyone but the townies they were quite inconsequential in the grand scheme of things. Any hero would be able to stop them if they weren't distracted, but perhaps that was what was needed.

Cliff Battle

Kamuz was enjoying himself with constantly punching Menardi, not even questioning why the adept was not dead yet. Suddenly her entire body was covered in sharpened ice. The demon recoiled and backed away in pain, the palm of his lower left hand and the knuckles of his lower right covered in painful, bleeding, yet small cuts. More irritating than life threatening.

He then crossed both his arms when Menardi launched all the ice spikes on him. His armor managed to deflect most of the shards, but the exposed parts of his arms and legs were cut, grazing him. Again, relatively minor for a massive demon like Kamuz.

"I can shoot ice as well, bitch!" the bandit yelled out. He then waved his mace into the air, producing spears of ice, and then launched them all upon the adept by swinging the mace forward.

Log Trap Area

Taking advantage of the momentary pause in Reaper's covering fire when he reloaded, Sousuke rolled out and behind a different tree, this time with his finger on the trigger of an M9 flamethrower. He started to send a thick cone of fire out from his position, lighting up all of the trees within several dozen meters of him in order to create a smoke (and fire) screen for concealment.

Reaper- Tira's Group

Reaper growled as the forest started burning due to Sousuke pulling out a flamethrower, the fire and smoke blocking his field of view of his last position.

The wraith-like merc ran to where he last saw Sousuke's last position before , his Hellfire Shotguns ready while he was trying to avoid being set on fire by the flames in the forest and attempting to find him at the same time.

Chief- Ambush group

Chief sidestepped away from Wulfrik's attack, his superhuman reflexes and agility allowing him to dodge the slow, but deadly blade attack.

He quickly attempted to hit Wulfrik in the back of the head with a Butt Stroke of his assault rifle, the melee attack enhanced by the Spartan's strength.

-The cur's armor is clearly enchanted, giving him speed greater than many humans can achieve. Yet his weapon, useful as it may be to scythe down enemies at a distance, is far less impressive at close range, reverberating amongst the trophies and spikes of Wulfrik's armor. His shield sweeps around, while his sword chops towards the rifle.-

Menardi - Vs Kamuz

Menardi was grateful for the warning, at least. With this kind of purely elemental attack, she could dismantle some of the spears before they could make contact, and she did so with the ones aiming for vital areas. The rest she let make impact on the shield covering her body, leaving minor cuts and bruises on her arms and legs. It was better than pouring Psynergy into a complete barrier.

The Alchemist found herself more equally matched than she'd expected. He seemed to have no obvious elemental vulnerability, and with those reflexes, she could forget about gaining an advantage in close combat or landing a lethal Transmuting Touch. Seriously, they just kept on coming, these annoying opponents. She hadn't met this kind of opposition since she was a General under Tatu. It made her feel...

...excited. Menardi grinned as she brushed back an errant strand of hair. Maybe this reality show wouldn't be such a waste of time after all. Any warrior knew that you couldn't get stronger without practising against equally strong opponents. It was time to get creative.

Menardi reached out with Venus Psynergy, reaching into the ground around Kamuz to produce six blades of good iron. With a flick of her hand, the Sabre Dance Psynergy of the Pierrot began and the swords danced and swooped as if held by invisible swordfighters to cut at Kamuz from different angles. Menardi watched closely, ready to pounce the moment she could identify an opening.

Vs. Menardi

Growling in annoyance, Kamuz prepared to toss his boomerangs at Menardi and then fire ice at her to a one-two combo, when the Earth suddenly opened up and six swords sprang up and attacked him. The bandit managed to hold them off quite well, using all four of his weapons to block the blows, but for every four swords he blocked, two managed to sneak in and slash him, managing to cut deep. However, instead of hindering him, the pain only made him madder.

It was becoming quite clear the bandit had no real experience in handling so many skilled opponents at the same time, and thus was entirely on the defensive. He could not even form coherent speech he was concentrating so much on defending, compounded by the pain ("BRAK RACKIN' FRACKIN' HACKIN' GRACKIN' GRACK GROCKIN' BRAKIN' BRAK.....!!!!") The swords would eventually wear the demon down, but it looked to take a while and he was thoroughly distracted.....

Solidus, Cliff

The speed of it took him off balance. Minshutō scythed through the air on a basic instinct, but went wide over the back of Raiden's head, severing bare millimetres from a lock of artificial hair. Between his shoulder and his neck-guard, the forehead only barely brushed against him - the bridge of his nose parted like a broken shelf, snapping his head back with a sickening crunch that reverberated down his spine and sent him staggering backwards, blinking the blood out of his remaining eye. Only the mixed blessings of willpower and artificial musculature kept him standing, stance ready. His breath was ragged, but controlled. If that had been square, his godchild would have been picking bits of skull out of his hair for weeks.

A wave of finality washed over him, striking something familiar in his bones. He knew, just then. Whatever he did next, just as he'd known on the roof of Federal Hall, it was going to be his final move. In a place like this, without cause or reason, without consequence, that was a bizarre kind of comfort. Swords and a plan, that was all he had.

The boy had always been a precocious little berserker, only bothering with the strategies that got him close enough to strike - he'd never fought with any consideration for the life of himself or his opponent, and that meant a sane man could never beat him clean. But the decked was stacked here, one way or another, and that opened up a much better ploy. He didn't have to.

Solidus charged at the moment the sword as back in Raiden's hands, bringing Kyowato around for horizontal slash - at the moment his godchild took the opening, at the moment he felt high-frequency steel pierce his body, he swung Minshutō low across the cyborg's stomach. Not a killing attack, not with that kind of body, not even remotely. Just something by way of a reminder.

Juri, Battle... Interrupted!

Juri was enjoying the thrill of the battle with Genos... Until Genos activated the thrusters on his shoulders, flying over to Jan and tossed him right at her. At least, Jan was trying to gun down Genos while he was in mid-air from the throw. Eventually, Jan would crash into Juri, their bodies collapsing into a pile on the ground. Anger within Juri rose from the interference in what was to be a one-on-one battle with Genos.

"No fair using him as a projectile!" Juri complained at Genos, trying to get the vampire up off of her.

Chun-Li, Unintended Make-Out Session

Okay, this is getting silly, Chun-Li thought to herself as Aria used tongue to make-out with her. When Nue decided to gawk at the make-out session, Chun-Li felt it was time to put and end to it... so Chun-Li attempted to try to knock Aria out using her fist. Hopefully, Aria won't see the sucker punch.

Menardi - Nothing Phallic Going On I Swear

Menardi grinned. That had been the right choice of action, it seemed. Now, she was not gonna let this opening slip away. Channeling great amounts of Venus Psynergy while keeping up the Sabre Dance was incredibly tiring, but she wasn't gonna waste this chance. Fighting Aria had taught her not to waste Psynergy on medium attacks that did nothing, and this guy had a tough hide. It was go big or go home, as they'd said in New York.

Two spectral blades formed in the air above Kamuz, blue and ephemereal but as sharp as the iron equivalents trying to keep Kamuz' attention, both lunging in for two deep stabs from different angles. But these were just a distraction; the best they could do was keep him stationary as Menardi came in with the true attack. The Alchemist warrior came charging in, Venus Psynergy concentrating in the blade of her sword. Then, when she was but a few paces away from him, she brought up the hook sword...

...and a massive spectral sword came into being for devastating horizontal stab, the blade as wide as Menardi was tall. It manifested alongside Menardi and had a surprising amount of momentum considering her short run-up.

Behind the Church

Aria grinned to hide a wince as Chun-Li's sucker punch hit her square in the stomach. How the girl managed to hit like a krogan without any sort of mass effect backing her up was beyond her, but she could feel her vest's armor plating being torn apart from such a powerful attack that it even managed to break through her biotic barrier. Still, it was worth it if it meant hopefully getting more screen time. It was a little odd to consider that everyone's future was basically in the hands of the multiverse's infinite horndogs - or at least one of their hands - but she was never really one to complain when she could work the stage in her favor.

"So was it good for you?" she asked, backflipping away and firing a shotgun blast.

Reaper

"You can't escape from death itself, coward.."

Reaper said as Sousuke's figure disappeared in the burning forest, though he noticed that he was making his way to the town before he saw him disappear.

Reaper made his way to the forest...before hearing the familiar clicking sound of a mine. Reaper immediately turned to a spectre right before the explosion could consume him.

Reaper's wraith form floated out of the smoking crater left behind by the claymore, as he returned to normal, he stared at the town that was away...but near...

Heroes. Civilians. No matter. He will make his way there. And they shall all both die in agony by the Reaper.

Master Chief

Chief avoided having his rifle cut in half, though he got slashed by the large sword...though Wulfrik would notice as a yellow field covered Chief's armour, his energy shielding protecting him from the blade dealing any damage to him, thought it was weakened to 65% strength.

Noticing Sousuke's yellow dot moving away from the battlefield, it seems like the situation in the town is becoming dire...the distraction might had gone well, but who knows just how many hostiles are swarming the town right now....intending to murder the innocent civilians.

He can't have that happen.

"We''ll have to play this dance later."

Chief fired a few shots aimed at Wulfrik, but mainly to distract him, afterwards the Spartan sprinted away to the burning forest, intending to use it to lose Wulfrik and to make his way unhibited to the town.

-Further enchantments protect the graverobber, though unlike any Wulfrik has ever seen, a yellow field preventing the armor from even a scratch. But as he about to strike again, the green man calmly states his intention to resume later and runs off.-

-The sheer impossibility leaves Wulfrik stunned, making no effort to dodge or deflect the man's parting shots. While he is no stranger to enemies quailing before his might and fleeing in terror, this is the first time a challenged foe break out of single combat, and more importantly, defies the will of the gods. No longer can he be called the Inescapable. As the green man reaches the forest, incomprehension is quickly replaced by rage.-

Coward! Nurgle blister what is left of your manhood, whoreson! Run, then, run and hide if you lack even the courage of a skaven!!!

-His head reeling, Wulfrik tries to make sense of the situation. The gods cannot have abandoned him, for he still possesses their gifts. He no longer hears their voices, telling him which foe to slay in their name... The light dawns on the Norsca. If the challenge held no sway over the green man, then he was clearly in no way worthy of honoring the gods through his death, just a grave-thief depending on stolen arms to replace martial skill. The gods ended the battle before the sacrilege could take place.-

Great lords, my debt grows deeper. I shall repay it!

-His mind at ease, he turns to other matters. His fellow captives are all busy with their own battles, and it would not do to thank the gods of Chaos with a shared victory. Keeping his unblooded sword drawn, he heads towards the town, remembering that he still has a mission to carry out.-

"Girl, I'm as pissed as you are." Fortunately for Juri - despite the beautifully woven situation - Jan did not linger on top of her for too long, cartwheeling off with an acrobatic grace.

"But that fucking piece-of-shitty-nuts-n-bolts thinks otherwise." He looked over at Genos, hands spread indignantly. "Like what the fuck, man?! I just wanna kill some shitty shitheads. You guys have fun and fight it out and I'll just be on my merry way!"

It did not escape his attention that two of his zombies emerged from the recent carnage relatively unscathed. Buying time with fairly mindless drivel was good if he could divert the cyborg's attention - and, if good luck permitted, other heroes - away from the two.

Kamuz continued fighting off the smaller swords, but then he saw the two larger flying spectral coming right towards him. At the last second, he managed to block both of them at once. "HAH!! Is that the best you can do, bitch?!" the demon taunted. "Gonna take a whole lot more than that to kill - "

Menardi's true attack hit, the last sword cutting cleanly through the demon right between his upper and lower arms. He coughed up blood, then it continued to dribble down the sides of his mouth, and it leaked from where the cut was. However, through sheer anger and outright refusal to die yet, he struggled to step towards the adept. He raised his mace into the air.

"AIN'T........" he gurgled. The mace was covered in magical ice, forming several wicked looking spikes. "DEAD........" He lunged at Mendardi, swinging the mace down upon her in a final, wild attack.

Regardless of whether or not the attack managed to land, the top half of his body flipped around as the lower half hit the ground first, and the top half fell face first into the dirt, Kamuz himself completely unconscious. Unless someone came and healed him, he was likely to die from blood loss and his organs spilling out eventually.

Church

Those in the church turned as the door opened to see the Undead duo enter the room, and froze in shock at seeing a man many had attended the funeral of walking the earth once more. After about 3 seconds or after the first gunshot was fired at the unprotected and easily shootable townspeople, Anges sprang up, shotgun in hand as she fired at Brooks.

"You varmint bastard, what in the blazes did you do to my pa!"

Raiden (Cliff)-Aftermath

Raidin spent a moment glancing down at the cut that Solidus had dealt, before shaking his head and returning his head to the present. He flicked his sword to remove any remaining blood from it, before turning to see Kamuz split in half. A quick glance around with AR vision told him the area was secure for now. He walked over to the woman who had been fighting....whatever the hell that thing was. Some cyborg who had really gone all out designing his body? Maybe not, the woman who had taken it out was clearly not a cyborg, and he knew full well a normal, unaugmented human taking down a cyborg was more or less impossible. But there was still a battle to fight. These questions could wait until later.

"Hey, you alright?" Raiden asked Mendari.

Corpse Party

It's possible that Brooks himself would love to answer the question, had he actually was able to. No, he was in fact just as much of a victim as the late mayor.

His heavy duty revolver fired twice into the surprised crowd - it really didn't matter who was going to be hit for him at this point - before the shotgun blast blew the ghoul away with a gaping wound in his torso. Brooks made a low groan as he dropped down on the floor and, under any other circumstances, that would likely be enough to drop him down.

But of course, ghouls aren't as easily killed as the living. Brooks-ghoul pried his lower body off and crawled up under a wall, aiming to at the very least empty the drum before the next shot would dispose of him for good.

As for the mayor... a faint memory shimmered in his dead brain and then went away as he set his dead eyes upon his daughter, his own shotgun brandished and leveled down at her legs before he pulled the trigger to light the church up with a muzzle flare.

Should the shot reach its target he would drop the weapon and go right for a proper family reunion, applied via a rabid bite to Agnes' - hopefully still warm - neck.
