Joanna had herself noticed the wires shift through the room out of the corner of her eye. She was even able to see what direction they were headed, but she didn't really want to go out and...

Actually, she thinks, this could prove to be another timesink to push back the movie further. Heck, if whatever the heck was fooling with the wires — or whoever, considering the already diverse pool of powers and abilities the others have demonstrated so far — tried interfering with her plans later, at least she would have some way of knowing how to deal with it.

"I think the better question, Eisen, is what's moving them. ...I mean, I'd think the Stiltsworth guy would've put those wires down or had someone do it — the point is they shouldn't be moving."

Joanna get a thought. "...you...sure this isn't you doing this, Eisen? I mean, I don't exactly know how far your technopathy stuff extends, I guess it could maybe include wires or something like that because of the electricity running through them—"

Eisen gingerly and carefully goes over to the wires and attempts to interface with them, completely failing due to the lack of electricity in them. She turns to Joanna and shrugs.

"Definitely not me, I can only do that trick with electronics... these wires don't even seem to be circuits, although there's some very miniscule current through them. Probably somebody else with some kind of powers- I'm not the only one with strange abilities here."

Karel blushes and stares at Ada in confusion and fear. He looks around, noticing the broken door, looking rather surprised.

"I-I swear that wasn't me! I just passed out, didn't do anything that would cause that I swear!"

He sounds as though he's a kicked puppy, scared for his life. Ada may seem harmless, but he's not so trusting after the last time someone saw him like this.

Ada raises one eyebrow. Clearly he's not in the mood for idle chitchat. "...You should come inside. No use hanging out here in the cold and rain." Y'know, like you just were...

Ada takes a few tentative steps through the battered doorway, eyes darting this way and that. "Ahem. Is anyone there...?"

"Ehehehe......Y'see....I would, but um....I don't think you want me soggily flopping my way over your nice hardwood floors. That would be really bad, and uh....I can't exactly walk right now."

He looks incredibly embarrassed, this is incredibly awkward for him.

"You guys must have one crazy project planned. Come on, let's head over to the metal works section and see what we can't find. The guys over there should be able to help you find what you're looking for. Are you looking for something like sheets or girders, or something else?"

He starts off towards the section.

Karel's worries are rendered moot as the two step inside. Wet, muddy footprints trail through the house, though it's hard to see explicitly where they lead.

Nina stood up slowly, being slightly surprised by the armor standing in front of her. She curses under her breath, then she began to strip of her clothes (except for her underwear), before she slowly walked towards it.

"Been a bit of a time since I have last done this.", she said as she took the last step, turning around as the armor slowly opened. The armor drifted apart, held together by wires forming a loose chainmal, enveloping Nina bit by bit. of note should be that the Helmet flows through her hair, as the innermost layer of the armor coats her skin. The weapons slowly drifted towards the warrior maiden, circling around her as an iron belt is being woven around her waist.

Outside of Ninas Room, the wires retreat towards her door, some already having slipped inside the frame and into her room.

Daydre follows after him. "I don't know if the form it comes in matters... She's probably going to be melting it down or something..."

Erika would soon depart from the theater, continuing to follow the moving wires with caution. Given the layout of the mansion, it would not take Erika too terribly long to find herself near Nina's door. She hissed a bit, before shaking her head. She would then mention to herself, "I just hope what's behind the door won't be troublesome." Opting to try and be subtle about the situation, she would try to carefully open the door slightly, aiming to try and get a view without being detected herself.

Ada looks about, and spots the muddy footprints. I'm not a forensics expert, but... I think we have an intruder? Times like this is where I wish I had a phone.

She glances over at Koi and finally notices his lower body. "...Oh, sorry. So that's what your thing is. You want me to carry you? I won't mind, I'm already soaked to the bone anyway."

Mikaela follows Denzel as well and explains, "I believe we can take the metal and carbon in any form, but aside fromt hat, we also need some screws, bolts, and copper wires."

Karel looks up to Ada, finally warming up to the idea that someone is kind enough to help him and also not fry him.

"If it's not too much trouble, I would appreciate the help. All I need to do is dry off, then everything will be okay."

Emily hasn't paid any attention to Koi and Ada, instead bending down to look at the wood shards. Picking one up, she turns it in her hand, looking for any tell-tale signs of what destroyed the door.

"I see. Let's get Marky over here and he'll be able to get you set up."

Denzel leads the group over to the metal work area, a section of the store with literal tons of metal sheeting, girders, boxes, and the like all scattered about the floor. Denzel speaks with a man for a second, explaining the situation, and the other worker strokes his beard before speaking as Denzel walked away.

"Denzel here says you all need a whole lot of supplies. Depending on what's best for your needs, we might have enough steel for you, but carbon shouldn't be an issue."

The splinters and pieces of wood all have cut marks on them, and are somewhat cleanly sliced, as much as wood can be, but the job looks hastily done. Oddly enough, the piece Emily picks up is noticeably warm to the touch.

"... Shoot, Emily never told us what she needed this for did she? Do you have her number so we can ask her and make sure we get her the right type of steel?" Daydre mutters at Mikaela.

Joanna had also followed behind Erika in her search for the wires' destination and is patiently waiting to see what awaits them inside, having situated herself on the other side of the doorframe from Erika. But just before, her head was racing with thought as were her feet with fervorous curiosity...also originating from her head.

Don't even know why I considered Eisen as the culprit here. Hell, she doesn't come across as the type to actively try and screw with us from time to time. She'd be the one to make those random comments that people would think were in jest but with shock and awe on our faces we'd find it was completely serious. Because what I need is another goddamn person just like that. Least she isn't involving herself in any politics.

Regardless, the wires weren't plugged into anything...or well, now they aren't if they ever were; otherwise, the projector room would've been a mess of projector parts. That'd sure as hell put a nail in the coffin that is this insufferable plan I've holed myself into. And copper isn't magnetic, either. Not electricity or magnetism...metal...-kinesis? And to what end.

Now, here she stands, taking her place, then momentarily looking back down their prior path to see if anyone else had followed the two of them. Eisen making that trek was almost a certainty, so much so she couldn't help but feel a tinge of disappointment at the possibility of her not coming.

The slow sway of the door makes itself know in her peripheral, and her eyes become affixed to it, to follow its trajectory, and then, as it is revealed, to the innards of the room itself...

"Alright..." Ada says, squeezing her arms under Koi and lifting him up into a bridal carry, emitting a muted grunt. "Don't suppose you'll want to find somewhere with towels or blankets- a bathroom, perhaps?" By 'okay,' I assume this merman means he'll have two legs once he dries off. Good, I might need another body with me.

Speaking of bodies, Ada then detects Emily's presence. "Oh, 'ey, glad you're here. Obviously, there's a bit of a mess here..."

Karel wraps his arms around her gratefully.

"That would be perfect, thank you."

He turns his head and noticed Emily, looking rather curious, totally unphased by the fact that someone is carrying him bridal style.

It was pretty natural for Eisen to follow Joanna and Erika to investigate the room where the wires were at. Clearly somebody had either some kinda sophisticated tech, or some kind of special power.

(So, who's the one behind this?)

Kit cautiously follows Erika and Joanna. Sekhmet can't quite recall haven't seen an ability like this before, and she has seen many strange things in her time. Claws form on her hands, in case the user of said abilities turns out to be hostile.

Emily stands up, still holding the shard. Dropping it, she mutters to herself, It's warm....

Her eyes widening, she turns to Ada. Have you seen Alexa anywhere?

Mikaela pulls out her phone and responds, "No, but I do have Alexa's phone number, and she should be able to get Emily for us. Excuse us for a minute, sir."

She calls Alexa.

Alexa twitched and groggily woke up from a nap when she heard her phone ring, having been in her room this whole time. She yawned and stretched her arms before sitting up and answering the call.

"Hello?", she said.

"You should open the door completely.", Nina voice called out to the outside, slightly tinny. "I mean, I have no idea who that is, but that does not mean that I am not familiar with changing forces experienced by that part of my body."

Nina was folding and pressing her clothes at the moment, the weapons (a Katana, a Longsword, a dao and a warmace, all made of the same metal as her armor) were leaning against the oppoite wall, all interconnected with Nina and each other by additional wires. Her back is turned towards the door though.

Erika looked towards the people who followed, giving a raised eyebrow as though to silently show intrigue at how her own curiosity's the topic, before emitting a surprised hiss at Nina's words, returning her attention to the door, and cautiously opening it up all the way. "I'm sorry, but... I didn't know what was... quite going on... though... how did you know I was opening the door?" Erika's look on her face became one of confusion, as well as concern as she saw an armored individual that is Nina.

Got confused slightly, hence the ultimately minor edit.
