What if his name is just Dorf?
That's actually not an unsound theory, since Calamity Ganon appears to be a big, amorphous cloud of evil. There could be Ganondorf, the man, and Ganon, the manifestation of Demise's curse.
Is that a Wocket in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?Considering how many varieties of Zora designs there are, I think a redesign of the Rito is certainly possible.
Or alternate versions of the Rito. As we've seen before, even in the Oracle games, more than one version of the Moblin can exist.
But they could be Loftwing evolutions too.
I mean, Loftwings basically vanished from the face of the earth after the events of Skyward Sword; we really have no idea what happened to them.
Let's see if you can get past my Beelzemon. Mephiles, WARP SHINKA!They could be the missing link between Skyloftians/Loftwings and the Oocca.
I suppose they could still be up in all those floating islands that dot the sky. Or maybe they just went extinct.
Or maybe we were wrong about the The becoming the Rito, and they are actually the Loftwings.
Or perhaps the Loftwings became both the Zoro and the Ococo, and then the forming became the Rito?
One Strip! One Strip!I don't think we should assume Loftwings are extinct (or transformed into some other species, let alone a sapient one) simply because we don't see them anymore. Presumably, there are lots of real animal species in the Zelda universe, such as lions and tigers and bears, that we've simply never encountered.
Odd that we've never seen a bear, though. Bears are a well-known feature of forests.

Is that a Wocket in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?Wolfos seem to fill that ecological niche.
I sure said that! And for snowy regions, White Wolfos!
And for rocky areas, Brown Wolfos!
And for wet areas, Blue Wolfos!
And for...
Hmm, no Bearfos?
We haven't seen Wolfos since Majora's Mask, though, have we? I'm talking real Wolfos, not those wispy non-anthropomorphic White Wolfos from Twilight Princess, which aren't as cool. I hope they come back soon—they're among the most memorable enemies introduced in Ocarina of Time, in my opinion.
(Still, a big bear-type enemy sounds like a good idea, especially since bears can stand on their hind legs already.)

Is that a Wocket in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?Live footage on the Switch itself.
Frickking Jim Fallon
I dislike that guy
The framerate actually seems pretty good on the Switch. After that pathetic demo at TGA, it's good to see the Switch's extra power seemingly being put to good use.
The framerate looked good during the TGA demo.
You just had to watch it on Nintendo's You Tube channel. If you watched it live at the Game Awards it looked bad because the stream was terrible.
Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureI love how Jimmy's so legitimately excited for it.
Also, this is a good way to get information about the system out there. At the very least, they'll make sure more people know about it and what it can do then the Wii U.
One Strip! One Strip!Jim's more hyped than half the internet for the damn thing.
I'm excited too, but I'm a rather expressionless person in... person.
Well, he's the host, so he probably has to give it a good showing.
That being said, he seemed to genuinely know about it, so I'm assuming it's not all just him doing his job.
One Strip! One Strip! He even knew about the original idea behind The Legend of Zelda which is mildly impressive.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!In fact, that might be why they chose to premiere it on his show. Where better then on the show of a legitimate Nintendo fanboy?
One Strip! One Strip!Doesn't every Zelda fan know that?
Well, it's nice that an actual fan got to try and see it, instead of some paid actor who has no idea what the hell they are touching.
i doubt it. The origins of a franchise usually isn't common knowledge, even among fans of said franchise.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!I remember reading it a few times in different magazines, but I don't really think about it unless it's brought up like Jimmy did here.
How well known it is might vary though. I'd assume it's something most Zelda fans would know, even if they wouldn't rattle it off casually like he did.
One Strip! One Strip!I think it is just something fans that are passionate about the series knows. I don't think it is common knowledge to fans that don't spend time looking up information about the Legend of Zelda on the internet.
Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre Adventure
I think that the Old Man's Ganondorf as well, but I also like to think that maybe he's at the very least neutral this time, having been split into an old man and the Calamity Ganon somehow. I'd honestly kind of like to see him in a less antagonistic role this time.
