Although, after that first bit, you actually don't need to do that since the game always tells you where you need to go and gives you good directions on how to get there or at least tells you in what general direction it's in with various things along the way telling you more.
Seriously, when I start Master Mode, I'm totally turning off my quest markers and never using them so I can really appreciate how masterfully Hyrule was put together (although I can still picture where most every major location is in my head since it's so masterfully put together but still).
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!So I finally fought the Silver Lynel, and he went down faster than I expected. I think I might have horded too many Savage Lynel weapons from all the White Mane Lynel before I charged into the battle.
I expected more from the Memetic Badass.
Now try fighting one without Daruk's Protection or Urbosa's Fury.
On Master Mode.

I did manage to take down the Silver Lynel on the Plateau (after coming back to it), and I hadn't liberated any of the Champions. It did take some doing, I won't lie, but it was immensely satisfying.
Switch FC code: SW-4420-1809-1805Question, would that also involve no Mipha's Grace and no fairy collection? Because I have beaten a silver Lynel in the base game without using most of the Champion abilities... but I did have to get rescued by Mipha's Grace.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.Yeah, about the first tower; I had no idea they actually existed. In fact, I walked past it twice while I'm aimlessly wandering around, like I'm doing now until an pair Lizalfos in that canyon leap out of the river to assault me. This game is full of suprises...
Answer no master, never the slave Carry your dreams down into the grave Every heart, like every soul, equal to breakSo it seems I completed a shrine quest by total accident. Didn't really think I would complete the landscape shrine quest at Death Mountain. Was too busy enjoying the hot spring.
It's nice how a quest gets market as complete even if you never knew there was a quest.
Does anyone bother writing down what they're planning on doing during a gaming session?
Because apparently I need to. I finished the last shrine on my secondary account and got the classic Link set, and then started to upgrade it. After several failed attempts (RL and random spawn distractions) I got two pieces of horn each from Dinraal and Farosh... only to then find out it was pieces of claw that I needed for the L2 upgrades.

All your safe space are belong to TrumpI don't since I often change my plan several times over the course of play. I only write down what I need for upgrades if I'm grinding for that.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!If I really need to remember something, I just screenshot it and look it up in the album when needed.
Of course, Frozone only had to go looking around his home for his supersuit. I'm thinking the greater good is gonna have a bit of a wait if Link needs to go trekking up to the Great Deku Tree to get his sword.
That's incredible.
That's amazing.
Reaction Image RepositoryBTW, am I just slow, or did anyone else not realize previously that the icon for the Sensor+ has more bars when you're more directly pointed at the object of interest? Because until a few days ago I thought it was about distance.
Knowing about that when I first started using it would have made life sooooo much easier.
All your safe space are belong to TrumpYou're just slow.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book! They straight up TELL you that's how the Sheikah sensor works when you open it for the first time.
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youAlso, the Lynels aren't necessarily difficult to defeat, they just have massive amounts of health and deal massive amounts of damage. Perfect your flurries and your perfect blocks and they can't even touch you. I defeated a red one without a scratch once and let me tell you I was so fucking proud of myself.
Never defeated a silver one flawlessly though. The asshole at the coliseum didn't even have the decency to be carrying a decent Savage Lynel weapon. When I killed him I nearly pissed myself with rage when he dropped a fucking bog-standard flameblade. At least the shield is, like, the strongest one in the game.
Also, I discovered the recipe for fruitcake long before I read the cookbook in Hyrule castle. I had like, five hearty fruitcakes when I saw the recipe and I didn't even have to cook one up to give to the questgiver. That was easy!
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youThe first time I made a Monster Cake was by accident.
On master mode, some person just gave a me a fruitcake for killing Bokoblins attacking them. I had forgotten the quest and the cake even existed when I ran into the guy at the stable. Meet NPC, quest complete before it even starts!
Man, I love when you happen to be able to complete a quest before it even begins. The first time it happened, I was all "wait.. what just happened?"
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.I killed a couple of Golden Lynels recently and they reeked of Anti-Climax Boss. According to the Compendium, Golden enemies have increased resistance to fire, ice and electricity. Keep in mind Lynels were already completely immune to those things. What are you left with? Just a Silver Lynel with more health.
The damn thing's Compendium entry isn't even interesting either. It's just the same template as the other Golden enemies with a shoehorned "get the hell away if you see one" message. Overall pretty underwhelming for what I expected to be the next Memetic Badass.
Although granted, this is coming from a guy who farms Silver Lynels for their weapons and has killed at least 100 of them, so...

Inane motivational quote goes hereOnce you gitten gud at a Zelda game, even the memetic badasses stop giving you a hard time.
It's just like the first time anyone faced a walking Guardian; super imposing and probably end up getting killed by it. But once you are geared up and learned a few tricks, they go down easy.
I've been replaying the game recently and was forced to fight a walking Guardian despite only having five hearts, 12 defense, and no weapon with a strength over 25. Killed it anyway. Although it took three of my fairies to do it.

Oh you didn't raise the tower yet. :)
Well I guess, in general, you should look at the main quest objectives to see what you need to do next.
My DA account... I draw stuff sometimes!
