Or Deku Leaves. They're always handy in a pinch.
Switch FC code: SW-4420-1809-1805It works, it's just that those enemies tend to have so much health that it takes a while. I know there's a video out there of a guy killing a silver lynel using only a magnesis boulder.
Reaction Image RepositoryUsing magnesis, bombs and stuff in practice against high HP enemies will still serve as a passable opening attack.
Starting fires in tall grass can work well too.
"Deku" leaves?

Oh, damn. Well, you know what I meant. I try to keep a Korok Leaf in my inventory when I can, because they often come in handy.
Switch FC code: SW-4420-1809-1805I like to let gravity do the work for me with Kinesis attacks. I just lift something as high as I can over a foe, then just drop it. Even against silver foes, it does the job pretty well.
Also, my Stasis use is usually to slow up their numbers. I find that I tend to get into trouble when I have too many foes on-hand - but if I Stasis them as they approach, then I deal with fewer foes at a time.
Oh, and headshots with arrows. Those buy time like nobody's business.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.Still haven't gone to any DB's on Master Mode yet, just because I'm stubborn and want the Sword first to see how quickly it'll wreck the Blights. :P
Met with Kilton, checked the Gut Check Challenge and took a selfie at the Great Eldin Skeleton. That researcher is going to pay me for my awesome photography skills.
The monster group at the skeleton gave me a hard time though, so I resorted to triple shot bows and bomb arrows and went in like goddamn Rambo. It was glorious and hectic.
At least in non-Master mode, I usually just climb up on the Eldin skeleton's spine and let round bombs roll off into the camp, with a few arrow headshots for the odd bokoblin that wanders or is blown out enough to see you up there.

Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youOh, god, that shrine drove me bonkers, too. Especially since I had a hell of a time lining up everything to open the door to it (and I didn't even realize until I opened said door that it would lead me to that shrine; I thought that door would point me to a different shrine).
Not to mention, because of where the first two skeletons are, I hang-glided countless times all over Hebra trying to find that skeleton. Who the hell dumped a giant mountain on top of it?
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster. The ice age? :P
I'm thinking about replaying this on Master Mode, and by the time the next DLC comes out I'll be almost done with it.
If I do that, I will have to figure out how to save Naydra ASAP to maximize rare drop collection.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.Just rush to the mountain ASAP.
The trail behind the Fairy Spring at Kakariko leads to Naydra Snowfield, from which it should be simple to get to the mountain trail that leads to the Spring of Wisdom.
On your way there, you can also pick up a memory, so going to Hateno after talking to Impa is recommended.
Isn't there a Lynel right behind that memory, though?
...
Yes.
Though you'll either need to stock up on cold resist food/potions or buy one of the snowproof clothes from Rito Village.
Also won't Lynels ignore you unless you attack them or run away?

Song of the SirensYes, you can just slowly walk past them even after they spotted you as long as you don't get too close.
Though they don't like it if you climb up on trees.
Which is weird, since they're part cat/feline. Climbing on stuff should be something they approve of.
It ends up I'm not ready to restart Breath of the Wild on Master Mode quite yet. Maybe in a few months when the DLC is about to come out.
But at least I know what to expect, and that is lots of sneaking past enemies because sticks simply do not work on blue bokoblins with regenerating health bars.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.Knock Bokoblins into water. Instant death, easy loot.
Also, there's Majora's Mask that comes with the DLC that makes anything that isn't a Guardian or a Lynel or a Ganon or a Yiga ignore you and it's fairly easy to locate once you get off the Plateu.
If you hang around in range of a Lynel and don't move for a bit they'll also attack, or so it seems to me.
Anyway, I've been noodling around, and started taking swords to Guardian legs for the extra loot while they're stunned by an arrow to the eye. Those Guardian weapon drops from the shrines finally are useful for more than an occasional attack. Even the level 1 weapons will sever with one swing.
You do kind of have to be careful where you do that, though... The second Guardian on the way to Goron City, I dismembered it, and one of the eye shots sent it tumbling into the lava lake. Obviously the drop from the body wasn't recoverable, so all I had were the odds and ends from the severed limbs. No Shafts, which is what I was farming for more Ancient Arrows.

All your safe space are belong to TrumpHey, guys? How do I get off the plateau? Cuz I'm stuck on the snowy mountain and found 2 shrines so far.
Answer no master, never the slave Carry your dreams down into the grave Every heart, like every soul, equal to breakBeat the other two shrines and the old man will tell you what to do.
So I just found the one on the mountain, the one near the Guardians, and one near an lake; but I can't get inside them for some reason.
Answer no master, never the slave Carry your dreams down into the grave Every heart, like every soul, equal to breakAnnnnd I just raised an tower...
Answer no master, never the slave Carry your dreams down into the grave Every heart, like every soul, equal to break
I always use an electric attack to steal weapons from tougher foes. At least in Master Mode. And provided I have room. Of course, if I want to make room I just break one by throwing it at the enemy.
Also: knocking thing's that aren't Lizalfos into water. Instant kill, no weapon durability lost. It's practically how I raided a Bokoblin camp at Faron Woods. Only problem was that apart from spears, the launch angle for the final hit in a combo is weird and never just flies straight where you're facing. Guess spears have a use after all. Bombs work too, but those are tricky to not blow yourself up with when the enemy is already in your face.
