The Bird of Prey cloaking in Star Trek IV?

I was thinking a collage of a Bird of Prey cloaking would be good.

I'd like a picture that doesn't look like a spaceship surrounded by a blue energy shield. I'm not sure I've seen one yet.

All are pretty good, but I like the first best for the contrast with the uncloaked ship.

I kinda prefer the third one. It's obvious something is there and invisible, but it's easier to see what it's supposed to be. The first one makes that a little difficult.

Plus it looks like it's posing in the third one.

13.2 looks like a character in space. I am more comfortable with showing a spaceship as in 13.1 (I guess).

Still leaning toward 13.1

I just saw the cropped version (13.1) and if someone hadn't said it was a mobile suit earlier in the thread I would have no idea what was pictured. It is a bit *too* stealthy to be recognizable IMHO.

I like 21.1 best of the suggestions so far.

Same. It's the one that's the most clear as to what the invisible thing actually is, while still showing that it's supposed to be invisible.

21.1 looks really good.
