That does seem to be a bit more illustrative than the current.
The text admitting that it's probably not real footage kills the validity of the image. Find something else.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Maybe crop the bottom text off the top image? Then it gets my vote.
The note in the caption would have to removed if we're going that route.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Better.
The "which looks entirely like this" part of the caption is kind of unnecessary, but otherwise it works.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Made a minor tweak to the caption...it's good with me.
Gotta say, don't like the idea of editing a non-misleading trailer to make it seem misleading. And doubly ironic.

You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"And now that I think about it, "Probably not actual game footage" actually does make it clear that you shouldn't trust the trailer.
So...there seems to be an impasse here.
Maybe...this?

Works for me.
she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportShould there be a crowner or can we just use the 3rd one?
How about the 3rd pic?
I'm just gonna go ahead with the 3rd then.
Bump. Can this thread be closed?
(Annoyed grunt)Yeah, might as well.
I'll go and close it.

People who have never played or even heard of Undertale won't understand the image and caption alone.
Perhaps a comparison of the trailer and the game itself like this?
