I like the Ultra Necrozma fight. In fact, I like it so much I wish I had actually played Ultra Sun blind and without knowing anything from press releases just so I could have the maxomun "oh shit" factor.
I used the Light That Burns the Sky and suddenly the game turned into Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn.
As much as I love Ultra Necrozma, its a big old hard "Fuck you" to Nuzlocke runners. And as eaer as I am to nuzlocke US myself, Ultre Necrozma outright scares me.
Heck I only beat it because I got 4 Poke Refresh procs mid battle (2 live with one HP, 2 dodges) and that was with me even using 2 rotom boosts and X Sp.D.
To be fair, Ultra Necrozma is a fuck you to everyone.
Yeah but a nuzlocke is over when you black out. You basically get to near the end of the game to get a game over before the elite 4.
If you take the time to complain about a self-imposed hard mode being too hard, maybe you shouldn't be playing said hard mode.
...
Mmm, so, imagine, Kyogre gets Hurricane and Groudon gets Solar Blade. What happens?
For Kyogre you get the fattest steel type you can find, or something with water immunity. For Groudon, pray you can outspeed and KO it before it destroys you.
does Rayquay get something equallyexcept not really broken?
A mega stone.

They're giving events of legendaries from the opposite game as yours, as well as making Shiny Zygarde legal for the first time.
Goddammit, Schezo... || *insert incredibly thirsty copypasta about Dr. Ratio*At least they're making getting the legendaries easier.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does. Not super exciting but nice I guess.
Well now at least I can finally get a competitively-viable Groudon and Latios. All of mine are Nature-screwed.
Now if only they'd distribute Hidden Ability Lugia, Ho-oh, Tornadus, Thundurus, and Landorus again. And V-Create Victini. Or just make V-Create a level-up move for it.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!I feel like V-Create should be one of those 'random trainer who has no good lore excuse for having a legendary-affecting item/move' ones they fit in somewhere.
Now i just wanna see that kind of thing in action, just for laughs, and laughing at people who're like, "why can they learn this? This isn't legal! *whiny fanboy noises* "
Goddammit, Schezo... || *insert incredibly thirsty copypasta about Dr. Ratio*From now on, Magikarp learns V-Create at Level 100.
Jason has come back to kill for Mommy.Remember that you can get HA Lugia and Ho-Oh by transfering them from VC Gen II games.
Also, I wonder who had the bright idea of having Regigigas be the Ultra Moon counterpart of Heatran. Specially when Cresselia is a thing.
Vapor for brains I tell you.
Cresselia is Darkrai's counterpart, though.
Volcanion would've been a better fit if it wasn't a Mythical.
Jason has come back to kill for Mommy.I'd appreciate if they just condensed that into one character. Some world-wise fellow who can teach your Pokemon Frenzy Plant, Blast Burn, Hydro Cannon, Draco Meteor, Volt Tackle, Dragon Ascent, Secret Sword, Relic Song, and V-Create provided you have the right Pokemon for it. The Pledge moves should probably be available earlier.

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Actually, Pledge moves have been available earlier since ORAS. In ORAS' case, it's available as soon as you reach Mauville City. As for Generation 7, it's accessible after completing the first trial.

And Drakrai is a mythical so it doesn't act as Cresselia's counterpart in the same vein Latias works for Latios or Lugia works for Ho-Oh.
Having a volumetric ton of version exclusive legendaries is bullshit. People didn't trade their Kyogres away when they started with RS.
It does act as a counterpart lore wise. Why is Darkrai mythical anyway?
And stat-wise, and learnset-wise. It is mythical just because.
Y'know what could be a nice change of pace in these games? More stuff like this, but justified and built up to.
We have all these status and support moves that never get used and only something like maybe 2% of the player base is concerned about. What if there were battles with trainers who specialized in overleveled walls who taught you to use stat down moves, poison, toxic, Perish Song, etc?
I dunno what the best, organic way to do that would be, and these games have the problem of being bogged down with pointless tutorials as is, but it'd make your options feel more expansive than just powerful STAB move A and coverage move B.
