Strong Keep Until Better Image Suggested. It's technically JAFAAC but if you don't get the context of this you've been living under a rock for the last...most of my life. Ugh.

Keep Until Better Image Suggested.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"Keep.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Star Wars gets a pass. Keep Until Much Better Image Suggested.
Definite keep.
she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportI'm going to go ahead and say this is in fact better than JAFAAC. Even ignoring Fan Myopia, we have Guy in Black Armor, looking like he's dying, with a surprisingly caring look on his face.
Without context, the image itself could work just as well for Death Equals Redemption, but it does visibly depict "Someone formerly evil, now not so much, who is dying."
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.Yeah, keep.
(Annoyed grunt)I will say that this image is better than not having a picture but not because it's from Star Wars (I think we agreed to check the policy regarding JAFAAC and the franchise) but because of all the reasons Larkman pointed out. It's still weak, though.

Keep Until Better Image Suggested, for reasons already started.
I remember a few years back we actually had a list of "JAFAAC character exceptions" for characters who are so ingrained in the public consciousness that we can reasonably expect most people to be familiar with it through osmosis. If I remember, the list was basically "Jesus, Darth Vader, and Harry Potter".
Reaction Image RepositoryIt's funny but Jesus is used as an example of JAFAAC in Just a Face and a Caption. I don't think we should give any character or series a free pass, we don't do that with examples so I don't see why images (which, above all else, should picture the trope) should be any different.

I think Superman, Super Mario, and Super Mickey Mouse have also been declared as such.
Anyway, I'm not sure Vader would count outside his full mask, since that's how he famously looks. On the other hand, the image is vaguely illustrating the trope, so I'll still go with Keep Until Better Image Suggested.
Check out my fanfiction!I'll give this another day or two to see if another suggestion comes up.
Bandwagoning and saying Keep until a really amazing image suggestion.
I love you, Krillin!! -struggling to breathe- I love you as well, honey..Well, it wasn't so much "Jesus can always be used without being JAFAAC" so much as "Jesus is a character that we can assume people will be familiar with". But yeah, if at all possible we should avoid that anyway.

Reaction Image RepositoryMy bad. I didn't know Darth Vader had been declared as an exception.
No trouble. I'll go ahead and close this.
I know it's a very famous character in a very famous movie but still... nothing indicates in the image that the dude is a former villain and that he's about to die. Even the caption is without context.
