Finally caught last Saturday's episode.
Mic says what I've been saying, about how the heroes made no mistakes (in that battle) but still failed so badly.
Then again, they may have done everything right, but the actions of others damned them.
One Strip! One Strip! And now today's episode:
We're now in the Marvel Universe....except the hate is more justified.
One Strip! One Strip! We've got Erica Lindbeck confirmed as the english dub voice of Lady Nagant.

Holy fuck that's perfect casting.
Hahaha hahaha nice.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does. They almost always are. Colleen Clinkenbeard's almost disturbingly good at casting.
Watched the newest dub episode. Man... All For One really is such a bastard. And no wonder people get sick of him stealing the show, when they have to deal with 2 of him.
I finally got into the My Hero Academia anime. I used to hate it thinking it was too fast paced for my liking but these recent episodes made me really want to watch more.
Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here.Latest episode:
The final arc begins.
I'd forgotten that Reporter lady kinda stopped when she realized what Endeavour was saying. It seems she caught his drift even with her rightful anger.
One Strip! One Strip!Since the dub's gonna be further behind for awhile, decided to go ahead and watch the three most recent episodes subbed. Really not used to it though. A lot of the male characters sound kind of the same to me. The adults, anyway.
I gotta say, everytime you start to feel more understanding of Endeavor a little, that's when Horikoshi likes to flashback through the Todoroki family's life and put it in your face again how vile things were.

How long's the delay?
Just an extra week, but since the dub was already two episodes behind, it adds up.
This is the full pushed-back simuldub schedule, for the curious.
Surprised that Welcome To Demon School Iruma Kun isn't on there.
For my first post on TV Tropes, I thought it wise to post in the entry that started it all: My Hero Academia.
I've been following the anime since 2020, when you-know-what happened. Shortly afterward, I discovered TV Tropes, and of course, like everybody else, fell down the rabbit (or bottomless) hole. The first forum thread I ever read was half of the MHA manga thread, from post 1 to around post 1500 (S5/Joint Training Arc was airing by the time I got there), and since then I've been reading both the normal and the spoiler thread as new episodes come out, mostly just to see general reactions to chapters, sometimes to view an interesting discussion about a new side to a character, and rarely to see someone being thumped for getting too heated about a certain opinion. Right now, I'm at post ~2200 in the main manga thread, and I plan to read the rest as new eps come out.
Anyway, about the latest episode, I would have never guessed that Deku would leave UA. Like, I just thought that time skip to third year would happen, and then he'd fight Shigaraki again in third year. But no, he leaves UA fully. The next episode will be a fight against Muscular, a flashback to just before he left, and maybe this Nagant lady appearing.
On a side note, I find it so poignant that the only letter he personalised was Uraraka's. I think she is going to go and save him from his self-loathing, if the intro's anything to go by. I'd love for her to get any sort of development, especially after the three season's worth of Todoroki content (which, don't get me wrong, I still enjoyed).

Clear prop!New episode.
Yo and Turtle-neck had no business being the ones sent out to help these people. They clearly didn't have the training for it. Then again, proper training might not have done much good considering how bad relations between heroes and civilians are right now.
One Strip! One Strip! In the end, Shindo's earnestness accomplished what his practiced smile and slick words couldn't. But yeah, the Hero side is really desperate if they're sending kids to do such dangerous tasks. Compare to how much they tried to keep the kids in the back lines during the war. The whole system is coming apart.
On one hand, they're third years, the kids are trained for rescue. On the other, it's horrible to see them thrust into the middle of the fallout so quickly.
The fight with Muscular was really good. I'm also glad that we got to see the 6th's Smokescreen.
That scene with Izuku's mom though...that was rough.

Clear prop!I do like how they reminded us that Shindou's attack wasn't totally useless. It did do a bit of damage that helped Deku out a bit.
One Strip! One Strip!Way more than "a bit", I'd say. He was the reason Deku could bypass Muscular's muscle armor, which required multiple 100% hits last time. Current Deku could stall for time, but he would have had to think up another strategy to break Muscular's defenses.
New episode is out!
I think the section at the beginning showing Deku saving that girl was meant to show us the rise of racism against mutation quirks. I just find it super interesting that even after six generations of Quirks, racism against Mutators (mutatism?) still prevails. Wasn't there an entire group like that against Spinner?
That said, holy shit is the new villain crazy strong. If Nagant is a better shooter than even Snipe then goddamn. Absolutely cannot wait for this fight.
Also also, Overhaul returns! (in a catatonic state of course)
Clear prop!Heteromorph is the term your looking for (based on manga translations)
This episode was really great! Loved both the action scenes and the emotional impact.
That said, the real meat of this half-season is what comes next... the preview made me really hyped.
Also, the English dub episode today should be the one where Izuku talks with Stephanie Young the past wielders, which is what I was waiting for to catch up. (I watched the Hawks and Todoroki episodes subbed, but honestly didn't dig them that much).
Edit:Or I'm an idiot that doesn't know how to count and that was actually last week's new dub episode, appretly.

Edit: Ahh, page topper. I can't have my stupid joke reference be a page topper. Nevermind.
