The some grew on me, but I wouldn't go looking for the full version anytime soon.

It grew on me fast. The "I KEEP MY IDEALS" hook was hype and the keys at the start lead nicely into the rest of it. First OP is still my favorite, though.

Personally I thought it was too, for lack of a better word, mellow for the events that occurred while it ran.

I feel strange now :P

It's actually my favorite out of all the O Ps.

I think it's better than season one's OP but I'd rank it as equal to season two's second OP and under season two's first OP.

The full version actually sounds totally different. It's kinda weird.

And here I'm thinking I can't even remember the song now that I'm trying. I don't care about openings in general though, after seeing them a few times I just skip them.

Yeah the full version is pretty much unrecognizable compared to the version used in the show. I think I prefer the show version of it.

Something else I noticed is that the students' rooms don't seem to have locks. When I looked at the manga I figured they had to scan their student I.Ds to open the door and we just didn't see that part, but going off here, these rooms are just always open.

Unless they only lock from the inside, I guess. But that seems strange.

Locking only from the inside isn't normal?

Or were you expecting more scruterity?

Ojiro is really low-key down on himself for being "normal". I wonder if they're is ever going to be a thing about him with that.

Hmm, I may need some time for this new OP and ED to grow on me. For now definitely ranking below the OP for the first half of this season. And the ED animation looks so goofy for some reason.

Deku's arms in the ending also look… wrong. Too big.

As for the OP, I find it pretty good, considering the second half of the season will be more chill than the first. And you gotta love Tooru's sexy pose at the end.

In the episode itself, note that Iida's hands move randomly even when he's brushing his teeth… The general animation was more stiff than usual though. Which is understandable.

On a trip so I can only do so much writing here.

A low-key ep with the heroes-in-training further pushing their quirks to be better. I suppose the tech Deku is wearing on his feet also prevents them from being injured like he hands do. The mangaka did manage to give him some Batman-esque machinery after all!

His legs would only be injured if he was going beyond his limit; he hasn't done that nearly as much with them as he has with his arms, so they don't need extra support.

So is he gonna be soley the kick meister from now on?

Nah, but his own style (as opposed to All Might's) is going to focus a lot on kicking.

Balance is key.

Between that and the parkour he does, I imagine Deku as becoming a lot more agility based than All Might over time.

Vunderbar, a male character focused on kicking...

I suppose this isn't new because MA...but still.

It feels kinda weird for Deku to switch to a kicking-focused fighting style at this point of the series.
