There has to be a way to make it so only Gurihiru draws Gwenpool from now on.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.Lots of money would probably work on them.
We finally found out more of Gwen's history in this issue her brother drags her back to her home before she left where we find out she's a neet who never finished hs and doesnt have a job. the whole issue she tries to find ways to go to a better world but her brother keeps stopping her culminating in her opening a science portal and him saying it isn't even how she went there in the first place. they go home and there is a the end caption. that gwen picks up and drops as it's replaced by to be continued
Also, wow, Tear Jerker city, because damn, no wonder Gwenpool wanted to stay in the Marvel universe, if her real life is that bad.
It's mostly her own fault instead of actually looking for a job she half asses it and complains how no place will hire and goes to a comic shop once a week on the wednesdayiest day of the year to get new comics and ask if they are hiring yet.
I will say kudos to the writer who keeps switching the comic from being really funny to really depressing at the flip of a switch.
Yeah, it's one of my favorite books on the stands.
"They truly were a Aqua Teen Hunger Force"That went from fun to uncomfortable and depressing really fast.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.I love you Gwenpig
It got really, really dark and sad. Really, really fast.
A lot of it is gwen's fault I find because I used to be like that, hardly trying and making excuses and spending my time neeting it up. then I moved on.
I at least finished hs though, wonder why she didnt
Yeah, the neet part wasn't too tragic. Not passing high school and no friends around though? That was yeesh.
I'm guessing Gwen has gone back at least once before. Off Panel when her parents visited and this time they sent her brother.
Hm, really gets the feel that her wacky crazy behaviour in comic-verse is in part of her being somewhat suicidal rather than just metagaming - she doesn't care if it gets her killed.

That'd be a surprise, since it was more implied she was going about that because she's going about living in a comic world a bit like playing GTACar Crimes.
Yeah and she's clearly trying not to die in those life or death situations.
×3
Yeah, her parents showed up in an earlier issue. At the time i thought it was the 616 versions of her parents.

"They truly were a Aqua Teen Hunger Force"There was a very small backup story in Secret Empire: Brave New World #1 that had Gwenpool.
I read it. It wasn't really that much, nor really worth buying it for.
New issue tomorrow.
Don't spoil it for me, I might not be able to get it until Thursday.
Turns out I could get it today!
We Hypercrisis now?
I wish the trades came out sooner because I want to see Gwenpool the NEET.
Gwen will make you cry. No wonder being Gwen is suffering, it's like suffering is the base state of her soul.
I'm looking forward to this week's issue, which has her teaming up with Kate Bishop and Robbie Reyes.
