With the current state that the big three are in. I'm not really show which channel would fit perfectly with my pitch

Gaia: guardians of nature

A young boy finds an ancient bracelet in a antique shop that handpicks him to be the next warrior of nature,. Over the next course of the series, he and his mentor, chestnut discover new warriors( who happen to be his close friends) as they try to stop the blight from warping the realms of both earth and feytasia into a twisted and bleak watseland. Basically w.i.t.c.h meets captain planet

Insert witty 'n clever quip here.

Tropes were might to be played with. And for the most part, I was planning on making it kind of a decon-recon of the magical girl genre. But honestly I don't care really but I sadly can't think of anything new without making it feel like our doesn't.appeal to me

Yeah, Tropes Are Tools. You just need to give it more details to make it unique. For example, I like that the Warriors are all named after flowers. smile

As for where to take it, keep in mind that:

-chances of being accepted (by anyone) are small (the market is flooded)

-Even if the show airs, it may or may not be a hit (things like marketing, showtimes etc. matter)

-Even a hit show can be cancelled overnight for no apparent reason

Am I telling you to quit? HELL NO! The #1 person you must please is *YOU*. You're the one doing the work and if you don't enjoy it, why bother? Besides people usually do their best when they like what they do. Don't ignore criticism, it's good to have other people's POV, but in the end, follow your heart.

It does sound like a magical girl synopsis only starring a young BOY instead, which could be beneficial to its fanbase for being progressive and a deconstruction on genres, but could also be harder to pitch because networks like stuff they're familiar with. Therefore, Cartoon Network seems to be the best bet, given how they're not shy to air shows with progressive themes in them.

If the Hub were still a thing I'd suggest Hasbro.

I'd go with Disney XD or Cartoon Network.
