I'm not sure how I feel about the prospect of Scooby-Doo/WWE crossovers becoming some kind of a miniseries.
Ok, We need this to stop. How can you do anything with a car mystery?!
"We be we baby!"Better question: How could anyone TOP IT?!
Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).Aghhh....
IIRC What's New Scooby Doo already did one or two car mysteries.
But those mysteries didn't have The Undertaker.
That makes this....better...I guess.
I wonder if it's just him this time. Wrestle mania Mystery kinda addressed the issue of having the WWE superstars in the film (mainly the Scrappy Doo issue of why don't they just beat up the dude in the suit) but having the Demon Bear:
- Avoid prolonged confrontations;
- Avoid fighting large groups;
- Be willing to launch sneak attacks (John Cena) on lone superstars (The Miz)
- And having him be a former wrestling trainer who probably knew their moves in what was essentially Powered Armour.
I'm wondering if the dude in this will pull similar tricks or not. I mean, it's The Undertaker. If John Cena can catch a frigging boulder, imagine what an an animated Undertaker could do.

One Strip! One Strip!If Undertaker doesn't turn into a god like being of pure smoke that summons lightning and shoots out thunder, then this follow-up film will suck.
Why are they so interested in the WWE? It just seems like an odd crossover nobody actually wants.
The odd thing about these crossovers is that they keep making up villains that are totally anachronistic to the whole WWE theme rather than actually picking stuff from the WWE (or at least using a WWE-esque gimmick).
Like, wouldn't it be awesome to see the Scooby Doo gang go after The Boogeyman or something? Or try (and fail, naturally) to figure out whether the Undertaker is a real... whatever it is he's supposed to be?

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.WWE is coming to them for brand awareness, not the other way around.
Which feels like it really says something about the state of the WWE .
There's a reason that the smarks (i.e.: Internet wrestling fans) consider Vince Mc Mahon out of touch.
Scooby's gotta make Roman look really, REALLY strong.
Official trailer's out:
Just Kofi Kingston and no Xavier Wood and Big E Langston?
Man, I would of been so hyped for this movie just knowing New Day are in it.
I'd say this is a bit much but the old Scooby Doo had the Harlem Globe Trotters and some other interesting guests.
I'm surprised to see Kofi Kingston at all. I thought he was still on the outs with WWE top brass.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.With the whole New Day stable and how recently over they become with the fans as well as holding on the Tag Team Titles, he's pretty much doing well.
I'm more surprised to see Los Mantadores and Stardust as the former gimmick was dropped due to unpopularity and the latter left the company.
Maybe this was filmed at a time when those gimmicks were still in play.
One Strip! One Strip!Not a wrestling fan, but I usually find films produced by WWE studios to be rather enjoyable(wasn't that big on "The Call" though) and this was no exception(for the person who was asking about Undertaker, he's pretty badass in this film and probably gets the most screen time out of all the WWE stars) I'm quite surprised this film doesn't have it's own page on this site yet.
Funny you should mention that as it turns out that the villain's identity actually IS someone from the WWE and not an original character like in the last WWE film, it's a pretty cool twist and actually surprised me quite a bit.
Animation has a long lead time, the fact that Dusty Rhodes is in this film indicates that the voice-acting was recorded quite some time ago.
I remember when this film was first announced, it was said that Hulk Hogan would be in it, though that fell apart pretty fast after the transcript of him saying the N-word several times came out(i'm guessing he would've been on Team Legend with Rhodes and Undertaker in the film).

The lads over at OSW Review have done podcast reviews of both the first Scooby Doo film and the Flinstones one. This is right up their alley.
Has anyone ever done a video series on the history of Scooby Doo?
Now that is something I would like to see.
There was a whole mini-series about the Mystery Gang partnering up with a bunch of popular celebrities from the 80's. Plus Batman and Robin for some reason.
It's been 3000 years…
Wow. Crush Hour 2.0 anyone?
