There are many roles that do poorly at dances, including the Student—at first.

I mean, the Hyena would still be a threat to players like the Royal or Musician. If he ranks low in Dances than he ranks high in Duels.
The only exception to that rule is the Augur, who's still threatening anyways since he has a better shot at finding everyone's roles via process-of-elimination.
