Phil was casually speed walking through the parking lot. He was glancing at his watch before taking off somewhere else, now out of sight.

That was a stupid idea but whatever, Sylvester made his way to the police station "Wanna split up too?" He asked as he went, looking if Phil would follow him.

Nikodim stumbles upon the tape.

He puts it into the player.

Alrighty, real post.

It begins to play. "Aw hey! I guess you found another tape! Congrats! If you got my first one, you may remember I mentioned creatures of sorts. Well, I should go more in-depth with that. This things... They aren't human. Some of them look human, but they aren't human. They're hostile too. If they see you... Uhhh... Basically, don't let them see you. From what I understand, death isn't permanent here, but I'm not too sure on that, so it's really best you avoid anything that may want to inflict bodily harm and that happens to include things that look a bit off. So remember, if you hear something that doesn't sound too nice, just try to lay low until either it leaves or you get an opportunity to leave yourself... Anyway, good luck and, as always, stay safe. Bye." End of tape.

Unfortunately, the tape was loud enough to attract whoever's making the footsteps even closer until it's in Nikodim's field of vision. It has long, skinny legs. It has no face. It has no arms either, just pulsating stumps in their place. They're tall, too. At least 7 feet tall. It lets out a gurgled moan as it clumsily looks around for the source of the noise.

Basically, it's the monster from Quality Meats. I wanted to work it in somehow and the grocery store seemed like the perfect opportunity.

The Police Station is a bit of a walk, so if they go, it's easier to get separated from Nikodim.

Phil eyed the man suspiciously. "Split up?..."

Grocery Store, Nikodim

Nikodim looked at the beast with pure horror. He aimed his shotgun at it, backing down slowly.

"Ch-ch-Christ." Nikodim said.

???

"That's what I mean boyo, dumb idea, so lets stay together and not get killed."

Grocery Store: Nikodim

It looks at Nikodim and lets out a howl before charging towards him at startling speeds. Nikodim now has very little time to make his next move.

Nikodim shoots at the beast psychotically and throws the tape recorder at it.

The Figure appears again, watching just on the horizon.

Grocery Store: Nikodim

The beast flies backward onto the floor, meat and blood spilling everywhere. However, it slowly gets back up and stumbles towards Nikodim in an attempt to get at him again.

The player thuds onto the ground, it survives, but a bit of the paint is scratched and the plastic cover cracks somewhat.

Nikodim gets up, grabs the tape recorder, the food, shoots the beast with another bullet and runs from the grocery store. He closes it as he leaves.

"Fuck this shit!" Nikodim muttered.

Grocery Store: Nikodim

The creature falls over once more, but does not get up. It is dead.

As Nikodim leaves, the grocery store suddenly loses its electricity. At the same time, however, a bar out of the group's sight lights up.

I feel dirty for doing this, but bump.

"Hey." Nikodim said, pointing at the bar.

Phil hesitantly agrees with the plan by Sylvester. "Fine. We'll stick together." He says plainly.

"Light's in the bar." Nikodim says.

I'm gonna spoil it. The hospital and bar are both dungeons of sorts. They're very combat-centric locations.

Sylvester look to where Nikodim pointed "Just let me get a weapon from the police station, there should be some at least."

"Weapons? Very well." Phil agreed.

"OK." Nikodim said.

Without another word, Phil went on his way to the police station. Walking slowly along with Sylvester.

Police Station: Sylvester, Phil, Nikodim

Walking in, it's immediately noticeable that the lights, much like the grocery store's, are on. The group will initially see a reception desk and two doors on either side of the desk. The right door likely leads to the cells used for temporarily holding prisoners-to-be, which can be assumed by the sign next to it reading "HOLDING". The left door likely leading to the offices, the armory, evidence lockers, and everything else expected in a police station. On the reception desk lies, as to be expected at this point, a cassette tape.

"Plan. Sylv goes to left door, Phil goes to right door, I go to cassette. Agree?" Nikodim asks.
