What does that even mean?
Areas we've had in most Mario games?

At least Color Splash gave us a(nother) train, restaurant, and hotel.
But the Paper Mario worlds spices them up. We see a goomba and koopa village. Boos lived in a haunted mansion etc.
Mileena MadnessThat's standard...
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.Paper Mario has given us such weird settings as a chapter centered on a wrestling ring on a floating city, a detective story on a train, a forest with a color scheme unlike anything else I've ever seen, a moon base, a samurai tournament, a gravity bending space anomaly, a world where everything is made out of blocks, a world where cavemen with televisions made of stone fight talking flower people, and the afterlife. It definitely stands out compared to most other Mario games.

To add to the samurai tournament, it's a samurai tournament while the fabric of time and space is killing everything.
It's been 3000 years…Yeah, the reason that one is so memorable is definitely because of the world ending while you're in it, and then being forced to go back and look at the ruins.
Having the villain nuke what was set up to be a mandatory, horizontal pit of 100 trials was an incredibly effective moment.
Suddenly, Mimi became a lot more scarier in that one moment.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.Thoughts on this?
That was posted on the bottom of the last page...

Bleye knows Sabers.I have my suspicions. Not saying that isn't possible. But he's not fighting goombas. That character was seen in a desert temple with mario. I think he might be a partner.

We saw Kamek follow Mario so that’s further proof of some sort of partner system.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.I wonder how Kamek will be handled as a partner. I think it would be ironic justice if he buffed Mario or sabotaged the enemies as a means of indirect apology for screwing people over with his curses when he was an enemy in Color Splash.
Yeah you suggested that idea.
I don't recall many partners having the ability to buff Mario and themselves. Could be interesting.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult. With that video I'm leaning towards active Party Members like the first two Paper Mario games. Before that video I was thinking it was going to be a compromise between the first two and the Sticker Star/Color Splash; Combat would go back to its roots but it would just be Mario in Combat, with the Partners only working in the overworld and maybe giving Mario a Special Attack or Two in Combat.
I skipped Sticker Star (a smart choice, from the sounds of it), so this'll be my first exposure to Paper Bowser Jr.
That having been said, I'll be a bit disappointed if the Koopalings don't come back. I loved them in Color Splash, especially Wendy and Lemmy (always the best ones, imo).
Also, gotta love the Samus and Donkey Kong heads at the end of the trailer. I hope that means there's a new DK game coming. It's been ages.
Is that a Wocket in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?I'll be fine with the Koopalings being left out because that's a huge amount of cast members that share the same role that Bowser Jr. can do perfectly fine by himself.
It's been 3000 years…I'd be amused at the idea of having the Koopalings as NPC's that aren't antagonists; basically showing what they're doing when not working (or can't work) for Bowser. Like Roy running a badge shop or Morton maintaining some sort of taxi service that operates on the overworld.

He was also in Paper Jam.
I would NOT be surprised if the mountain◊ Peach's castle is sent to turns out to be a volcano that erupts.
The Protomen enhanced my life.I feel like it'll work a lot like Bowser's Kingdom from Odyssey, where everything's very oriental in style.
It's been 3000 years…
Original levels too please hate the generic grass or fire areas in SS and CS.
