alright to speed things up lets say the autopsy was finished offscreen and all the cats are now feasting in the entrance hall

"It is nice to walk again." Soy says and then walks up to Leo on his stilts. "Don't you think so?"

His eyes suddenly drain of disappointment and fill to the brim with guilt. "Uh... yeah."

"No. It's okay." Soy says. "I think we should get out of this town."

"I saw Soy's former... co-workers fly out." Fava said.

"Yeah, AHEM! Fuck those guys."

"...Yes." Soy said.

Leo tries to shake the guilt away. "So, uh... What were you like before the cult?"

"I was always with my brother. I was not born in the jungles - I was born in some town with Fava. Then we were sold away to this pet shop..." Soy said, "and then, while Fava was sleeping, I was fed some fruit by the Elder Parrot. Then I went to sleep..."

"Wait, you didn't join willingly?"

"No. Technically, I did at first..." Soy said, "Elder Parrot seemed like a very kind bird, and he promised me that I would see my brother."

"He lied to me." Soy spit out.

"So you were cheated then?"

"Oh god! I ruined an innocent animal's life!" Leo thinks to himself.

"Yes. Old bird kept 'converting' more and more birds, whether they wanted it or not." Soy whispered.

"I'm sorry. I mean... That's fucked up."

"...No. It's okay. It's behind me now." Soy said, putting a wing on Leo's shoulder. "I mean, that 'withstand-all-pain' training worked out well for me!"

"Heh, yeah."

"Well... I'm not sure that Fava will be as willing to forgive you." Soy muttered quietly.

ACDC, having dozed off, would wake up.

"So. Are you guys going to, like, leave now or something?"

"Maybe." Arkady said.

(I hate to do this, but bump)

I really don't want to play R Ps now.

"We're going to leave. Leo, Milo, Fava, Soy?" Arkady asks, getting up and crawling towards the exit.

"...Sure." Fava responds, with Soy next to him.

"Right. Let's skedaddle. This has been wonderful company."

"True. See you soon, Nightstar!" Arkady said as he started leaving.

"Come on, brother. Let's go." Soy said to his brother, getting up in the air.

Yeah, I get how it might feel to "lose steam" with it for a while. We started out strong, but for some reason I haven't felt terribly motivated to post in here for a while.I'm not even sure how to fit my character back into the current situation right now.
