Tarou nods lightly to Sasuke, seeming to appreciate the comforting gesture, but doesn't verbally respond. He turns and looks back up the stairway after Kotone, narrowing his eyes slightly as he spots the blue light. "...Kotone?"
Forest Pond
Yoshiki lets out a relieved sigh. "Oh, thank goodness...I'm really glad..." He watches Mana as she helps him bandage his wrist. "So...what exactly are you two? I don't remember ever learning about any yokai like Ren."
Date's House
Date nods at his response. "The desire to protect others is a strong driving force, indeed. Though, that same force can also drive a man forward, despite the costs...I only hope you haven't had to pay anything to steep, or at all so far. Or do anything questionable."
Date's Shop/Blacksmith Hut
"Hmm...? Oh! I see the problem. His sword has a crack in the blade." Minami says, seeming to understand. "We can fix that for you, no problem."

Bandit Encampment
"Rrrgh..." The bandit grumbles quietly, trying his best to ignore the hooded man. He already got what he wanted, there was no need to rub it in, damn it. "Who are you anyway? Surely you got some kinda name..."

Mana frowns slightly as she is considers how to answer. "We were just human like you. Just somehow when we were young this really powerful Yokai joined with us both. That's it. Thing is we cant grow any more, even you will get bigger than us till we find a way to get rid of it." She responds continuing to bandage.Mana then leans forward close to his face, putting a finger on his cheek lightly. Not holding him at all. "I'm impressed you weren't scared." She responds with a odd smile.
Date's house
Rhylu pauses... Looking down at the blade before him, away from Date clearly ashamed. "I-... I both paid much, but have done far, far more. This blade steals essence, a creatures spirit... You have seen what is inside, what i have reaped have you not?" He responds looking like he is expecting to get attacked here but not moving in a defensive way. "After time adrift among open stars, along tides of light and through shoals of dust, I will return to where I began."
Tavern
Kotone waves lightly, embarrassed at being caught eaves dropping, "Hi Rentarou-san and Sas-wahh!" she lets out a quiet scream as Pol suddenly and gently lifts her up and carries her down the stairs, beckoning for Nairube to follow."Hi, Kotone. You're looking rather well for being so far from the sea. I recall you used to get rather weak and fidgety when you strayed too far. Anyway, we have news for you about the temple."
Kotone, who was currently trying to reach for anything within her grasp to bash open an oyster shell, only to have said object pulled away by Polgara, who had presented her with a short knife with which to shuck it, sighed, "I'm a bit older and stronger than I was before, Sasuke-san, and gods damn it, I cannot crush this little snotshell with a knife... gimme back that mug."

Yama nods, glad they finally understood him. He quickly turned the sword over so that the hilt was facing the girl. Hopefully, she would take it for him, and he could be on his way.

Yama nodded in return, and instead absently decided to rest against the wall. He closed his eyes. At least, he seemed to have. His eyes were open just enough so that he could stare at the women. He observed their bodies silently. Actually, that was the only way he could observe them. He didn't pride himself on being a "hidden pervert" for nothing.

Tenzo just watches the elder briefly before Kotone and Polgara catch his attention. "Oh, I wondered where you went." He says to the latter. He then looks to the former, somewhat cautiously sizing her up and thinking about how to introduce himself.

Yamada nods and follows wherever Mira will lead, keeping up as best as he can. Even now, the pain of it seems to be receding...but when he's near stuff like that aura...odd. Koneko follows as well.

Nairube stirs from whatever trance he had been in and orders up another drink before turning his attention to Kotone and their goings on. He doesn't speak for now.

[[purple; "Name?"]] asks the hooded figure as he goes over the stock of the camp, though he doesn't seem to be overly interested in anything in particular. "No name. I am simply what...I am. You could call me...Boss if you'd like. The others took to it rather eas...ily and it seems fitting." Despite the nature of the conversation, none of it sounds amiable. If anything, it's off.

"The person you two saw is no longer here. Long gone, it seems." Tarou says to Kotone and Nairube, simply. He folds his arms and glances back to the door, wearing a neutral expression.

"...Oh...That sounds really bad..." Yoshiki responds, frowning. "You said you're looking for a way to fix it. Can...I help somehow?"
When Mana pokes his cheek, he gives her a sideways glance. "Well, of course not. Ren's my friend. I don't have a reason to be afraid of him..." He responds rather simply.
Date's House
Date leans forward, resting his chin on his palm, giving Rhylu a serious, but not judging look. "...Yes, I saw. And honestly, it saddens me, and not for the reason you think." He starts looking down at his other hand. "That aside...you sound remorseful. Is that genuine or at you reacting that way because you fear what I may do?"
Date's Shop/Blacksmith Hut
Minami bows in turn as well. "Let us get to work then. Please,.excuse us." She says and.turns to head back inside, readying the forge for use.

"Boss...? Oh, that's just perfect..." The mouthy bandit mutters, as if everything happening wasn't bad enough. He watches Boss as he continues, raising an eyebrow slightly at how he speaks. "Yeah, fitting...I don't get it, though. Whaddya need a bunch of bandits for? You managed to survive easily enough against me just now. Lot of us ain't exactly supernatural types."

Kokoro soon got to work, pulling her jacket away as she usually did when forging. Soon enough shestarted to heat up the blade again so she could work on the damages. Though she did not noticed that she was being watched... probably for the better anyway.

Rhylu did not make eye contact, just kept looking away, shrugging slightly. "I don;t know anymore... Its ironic though, I sacrificed much to protect others... Others who just shunned me, my actions and then later died anyway. Yet here I am, I sacrificed much but I remain, unchanged and hunted still. I cannot ever hope to join them... Nor can I atone for any of it either..." He lets out quietly, remorsefully and sad."I am nothing but a wanderer of our kind now, seeking purpose anew aisde the calamities I have caused..." A more philosophical but clearly deeply thought side to the young man ahead of him, who might not be as young as he appears, seemingly both lonely and confused.

Mana pulls back and gives a small shrug. "I don't know. We're looking for something, a talisman I think that should be able to purge it from us... Its why we came to Somone, looking for it. I don't think it's here anymore though." She responds looking up to the sky.Her gaze returns back down. "Honestly Yoshiki, you're just a little kid. This isn't your problem. I imagine we have more traveling ahead of us. You can settle down, try to just have a normal life." A clearly concerned look on her face, though also somewhat disrespectful, not seeing what good having him around would be. She wasn't malicious or hostile, rather soft in her tone. Showing a weak frown looking at her brother.
Xeo seems to have faded out of existence as the two have spoke.

Pol smiles to Tenzo, "I'm surprised you didn't see me when you came in. It's not like there are too many owl in this land."Sasuke nods with Tarou, adding, "And it appears he's taken to collecting Murakumo shards..."
Kotone smiles shyly up at Tenzo, but falters when Sasuke mentions the shards, shuddering a bit.

Little exposition for anyone unsure of what Murakumo are at this point.

Tarou sighs a bit, turning to Tenzo. "...The Murakumo. They are, simply put, people who possess a fused soul, one part human and the other demon." He starts. "They have an insatiable hunger for the essence of spirits and often hunt them down to feed on them...I am slightly ashamed to say I am no exception to this." He says and lowers his gaze, not feeling he can look at anyone right now as he makes the declaration for anyone previously unaware. Still, he continues.
"...Coexistence between the two sides is usually almost impossible, and normally ends with the demon typically gaining full physical control of the body at some point. In time, the same is likely to happen to me as well...and well...Yamaichi is a good example of how dangerous my kind can be once we've lost our humanity."
Date's Shop
Minami removes her kimono, revealing the clothes she typically wore for smithing underneath: a red sleeveless tunic and dark brown pants. She ties her hair back into a ponytail to keep it out of the way, and changes into some more appropriate shoes. "I will get back to finishing up the last bit of work from yesterday while you finish that." Minami says before going to the other forge to do just that.
Date's House
Date is silent for a long while. "...I am truly sorry, Rhylu. You life has not been easy to say the least. And has only seemed to have been made worse from the meddling of the immortals above." He says and casts his gaze up for a moment. "...So, how would you feel if I offered my own chance to meddle?
Forest Pond
"A normal life...I don't have my parents anymore...I don't know if I really if I can anymore..." He answers, rubbing his now bandaged wrist. "And, I'm a merchant kid, it's not like I'm not used to travelling, but...maybe you're right...I don't know..."

You're just a merchant's kid, what co-" As he is planning to put him down further Ren's hand suddenly raises from his mostly unconscious body and places itself in Yoshiki's hand whose wrist is bandaged."Mana... Don't act like that... Sure he might be a little kid but so were we once... Plus he has lost a lot. It should be his choice if he wants to come aid us, experience the spirits and the land or try to settle down, build a life here or somewhere else. We can help with either..."
He head tilts towards Yoshiki and his eyes open with a bit of a smile. "Thanks my little assistant... Hope I didn't scare you too much."
Date's house
Rhylu tenses slightly, still worried maybe even actually scared of what Date may do to him. "I would rather know what i'm being thrust into... Unlike last time..." Yoshiki is shocked for a moment as Ren's hand is suddenly in his. But shock soon turns into joy and a smile appears on his face once more. "I should be saying thanks to you. You kept those bad people from hurting me." He says. "And you didn't...those bandits and other people are more scary than you or Tenzo...And they're human..."
Date's House
Date chuckles slightly. "I am simply offering my aid and guidance. If you're looking for a purpose...I have things I could teach you." He starts. "I admit a part of me realizes the age of this body. You're young and can go places I cannot, so it would be a great help to me as well. Though, please, do not feel obligated to say yes. I can understand your hesita-..."
Date pauses, sitting up for a moment. "...I sense malicious intents." He says, subtly placing two of his bandaged fingers over his eyepatch.
Blacksmith/Hut
As Yama is busy heating up, he might feel even more heat as the wall he's resting against suddenly starts to burn rather hotly.

Yama suddenly jumped away from the wall, rubbing his back. That had been much hotter than he had expected. Smacking his lips together, he gave the wall a small touch, then withdraw, shaking his hand. That was hot. Almost as hot as the girls working on his sword.

Mana shakes her head. "Brother, how long were you awake for?""Not long..." He responds, trying to push himself upright again, looking to Yoshiki with a wide smile across his face and a fey fears in his eyes. He was not entirely sure of everything that happened it was all a blur, but the scene around him said enough.
He pulls Yoshiki forward into a hug unless he resists. "I could only do it because you stayed strong and didn't run away when I had to start fighting, and you saved me now as well." He responds, perhaps hugging a little too tightly but he was really glad to see Yoshiki was okay and unharmed, even after he lost control. "Glad I didn't scare you. Really glad..."

"Forgive my hesitation it is dangerous... Most of our kind have tried to kill me thus far. A being as of myself, born immortal of calamity is not-" He responds to date's note of malicious intents and pushes himself up."Who's here? A hunter, or perhaps a another immortal?" He questions, despite barely standing the young teen body enters a unarmed battle posture. A powerful feeling of magic filling the air around him, his hair and eyes flicking silver or white as he prepares for battle despite clearly not being in good condition for such.
