"Yes. Digimon's power increas exponentally from stage to stage. Please hurry!" Amylase said.

Sophie couldn't wait much longer, she burst into the room. There she saw a monster that could be likened to a giant lobster or crawfish. It was swimming in circles around the school pool occasionally snapping at the buoys dividing the swimming lane. It was able to effortless cut through not just the rope but the buoy itself, leaving two halves of plastic to sink deeper into the school pool.

"This world is awful! What kind of world has so little water!?" the shrimp said in a deep contralto.

Sophie decided to reason with her "Er... Ms. Lobster... This is a private school's swimming pool, not the ocean. We really would like to get you into deeper water somewhere, if you'd just...."

The lobster was clicking it's claws so hard that she could not hear Sophie's voice over it. She flipped her tail, knocking a net onto Sophie and Patamon.

"Don't think she's going to listen to reason. That's Ebidramon. She's a big fish in a small pool." Zippora commented.

Sophie's digivice immediately displayed a basic profile of the Digimon.

"So what's our plan?" Sophie said.

"Well this is a recently emerged Digimon. Sometimes they revert to something weaker upon reaching this world. We could just chill out and let her burn herself out."

The pair were splashed with a half a dozen gallons of water.

"Zippora, that's a horrible idea. We can't just let her trash the entire pool! We need to do something now!" Sophie exclaimed.

"Well I suppose if we might be able to speed up the process by fighting her. But she's much stronger than us and it's going to end up the same way any..."

As Zippora was talking the Ebirdramon grabbed Sophie.

She began screaming and kicking at the aquatic Digimon. The Ebidramon was seemingly unaffected by her protests.

"Let her go!" Zippora yelled, turning a slightly redder shade of orange.

The Ebidramon complied dropping her in the pool.

"Grr... You're just a bully you know! Boom Bubble!" As the Patamon shouted, there was a sphere of sonic energy that was propelled toward the crustacean. However the Ebidramon dove under water and the sound dissipated without doing any damage.

Sophie dragged herself out of the school. "OK. Let's see if we can get a smaller fish to fry... Or something."

The sounds of this scene might be heard by anyone in that particular hallway.

Alyesha arrived with Kokuwamon, she saw how Sophie was thrown into the pool "Wait, let me help!" She rushed to her side, though Sophie managed to get out before she arrived "Kokuwamon! C-can you shock him a bit?" "S-Sure, Electro Strike" With that a small lightning came down on the giant lobster.

Aesir fang glowed as drived toward the shellfish. If his attack lands, he following it up with a seires of powerful punches.

Mean while Lilith ran over to help Sophie.

"You, ok?", she asked the other girl as offered a hand.

Pool

Desmond and Watson enter the pool.

"Well now, that's not something you see everyday. Watson, can you help?"

Watson doesn't respond.

"...Watson?"

He spins around, looking for Watson. Watson is clinging to his back and not saying a thing, shivering in fear.

"WATSON!"

Yeah, Desmond isn't the most attentive individual.

Pool

Serenity arrived nearly last to the pool, speed apparently not being her strong suit, she paused when she saw Ebidramon and gulped.

"Were fighting that thing?"

Rem bounced into the room with Simon coming shortly after. Still panting from running after him, he gulped in silence, looking at Ebidramon. Forgetting his anger at Rem for running so fast and trying to resist the urge to scream; he asked, "So, uh, Rem, do you have anything you can do to help?"

"Well, I haven't eaten any dreams recently because she wouldn't let me, so the only thing I can do is release a cloud of toxic fog."

"That sounds like a great idea, just do it already!" Simon said, his eyes still fixated on the giant lobster thrashing about.

" Well, you see, the problem is, I don't want the other guys to get caught in it and I don't want to get too close to those giant claws . . ." Rem said, now behind Simon's legs.

Stepping backwards to face Rem, Simon began to open his mouth, then hesitated. The idea that he was coming up with was really dangerous, but on the other hand time was short and doing nothing wasn't going to help fight the threat that was here right now.

He picked up Rem and tried to use his calmest tone, explaining his plan. "Okay, then I'll carry you while you use your fog attack. If it tries to attack us, then I'll launch you away from the lobster."

" But, but, but what if you get hurt?" Rem asked.

"I'll be fine. Now, let's go." He ran towards the edge of the pool and held Rem forward. Without hesitation, the Tapirmon exhaled a large cloud of purple fog over the pool. " Deleting Virus!" Simon stepped back from the pool, trying to see if it had any effect.

Ebirdramon resurfaced at the sound of them entering the room. She inhaled some of Tapirmon's fog for a second coughed and then quickly retreated underwater.

"We might have to fight her on her own turf." Sophie suggested.

Aalyesha had an idea, a stupid one but idea nontheless "K-Kokuwamon... I know it may sound dangerous... it is... b-but could you maybe get into the pool and shock that lobster-thingy?" Th Kokuwamon nodded hesitantly "I... I think, yes, but what if he catches me?" Alysha pat him on the head "I'll hold you and you only dib your head in the water, if he attacks you I'll get you." That is a stupid idea, that is a very very stupid idea. With that in mind she got to the pool, holding Kokuwamon. He got his head into the water "Stun Shock."

Kokuwamon's shock managed to stun Ebidramon enough that it floated back to the surface. For the next ten seconds she is vulnerable to attacks.

"Boom Bubble!" cried Ziporra taking this chance and launching the bubble at Ebidramon. It didn't hurt her much but there was clearly some impact.

The moment Kokuwamon made the shock Alyesha pulled on him to get him out of reach again... that had the kinda unfortunate consequence that he crashed into her shocking her a bit in the process and severly messed up her hair. "*coughs out puff of smoke* Well... that was something different, lets not try this again." "Okay... sorry." He looked at her and eventhough he was sorry he just couldn't supress a chuckle.

Hearing that Alyesha nodded "Okay, could you do the same thing again maybe?" "Okay... I'll try. Stun Shock!" He dipped his head into the water again, trying to shock the Ebidramon again.

Simon hung back, unsure of what to do. He and Rem had already used their best attack, and it seemed ineffective. So for now, he tried to stay as far away as possible without leaving the room from the giant lobster, holding the Tapirmon close to his chest.

"Serenity!" Sophie shouted. "Can you help here? You just seem to be standing there!"

Arashi and Mephiles finally make their way into the area, looking at the giant lobster currently in the pool.

"Mephiles, think you can do anything to this thing?" Arashi ponders, not fully knowing all the capabilities of his partner.

"I can try, though I don't think I can really do much here." Mephiles replies, already charging up an attack as a rune circle appears on the ground, his hands out in front of him. "Infernal Funnel!"

Soon, a giant ball of combined fire and ice slowly rises from the circle, slowly gaining size until it's the size of his entire body. After completion, Mephiles launches the ball straight at Ebidramon, hitting it square in the face as an explosion happens.

The Ebidramon was hit hard and began to convert into light. She fell back into the water and emerged as a Crabmon.

"Not so tough now, huh?" said Zippora.

Interesting... The man hiding stroked his chin. They are definitely strong.

"I'm really sorry about all the trouble I caused..." Crabmon said.

Sophie led the others to the classroom taking Crabmon into her Digivice. She found Ms. Alpsam waiting.

"Oh! So I see your first mission was a success. Did anyone get hurt?" she asked.

Simon sighed in relief. " . . . it's finally over." Rem wriggled out of his arms but he paid no attention to the Tapirmon bouncing off to the pool and making faces at Crabmon. His mind ran over the battle again and again. These Digimon are really strong, it took that last hit to fully take it down . . . will I really be able to help fight them? He broke out of his stupor when Sophie waved at the others to follow her, quickly picked up Rem and left the pool, thoughts stewing in his mind. Rem was still trying to make faces at Crabmon.

Simon shook his head at Ms. Alpsam's question. "No, fortunately, none of us were hurt."

"The Ebidramon we were fighting reverted to Rookie." Sophie said releasing the Crabmon from her Digivice.

"That's very good. It's a common thing for Digimon to lose energy when traveling between worlds. Catch a Champion before they have the chance to eat or obtain energy in this world and their likely revert to Rookie." she said putting her hand on the Crabmon.

"So now that dealt with that one, what now?" Sophie asked.

"Well Digimon don't emerge constantly. Sometimes a lot of them come at once, and sometimes there might be a dry spell. In the meantime, I have created a PDF for all of you that will provide more information on the Digital World. Furthermore I have created an app that will act as a Digimon encyclopedia."

"App?" said Sophie confused.
