" Simon waved goodbye at the final student that he had finished tutoring. He looked around the nearly empty library. There wasn't much to do now as he pulled out his phone and quickly texted his mom.

He was about to put his phone back in his pocket and pack up when he noticed a strange QR code on the front of his notebook that definitely wasn't there before. Taking out his phone again, he scanned it and almost dropped the phone in shock as it began to glow and change in his hand into a much more different shape. A few seconds passed before Simon realized that there was a message on the screen. "That's upstairs, isn't it? Might as well go check it out." He said to himself, already walking out of the library, bag slung on shoulder.

He had walked into the classroom, introduced himself, and sat in one of the corners, listening to the explanations for what Digimon were and watching the others in silence. Simon was on the verge of leaving since this wasn't really his problem. The others could deal with it and his mom was waiting home for him. He got up and found Tapirmon was butting its head against his legs.

"Hello! You finally noticed me!" He said with a large smile.

"Oh, hello. Do you need something?" Simon asked with a small smile.

"Well, I'd like to be your partner!" Tapirmon responded, now bouncing around Simon's legs.

"I see . . ." He couldn't just say no, looking down into his bright eyes. He hoped this was the right choice. "Alright, well if we're going to be partners, then, you've got to have a name."

"In the Digital World, they just called me Tapirmon or Bakumon, but I've always liked to think of myself as Rem!" He said now trying to climb up the bookshelf.

"Rem. It's a nice name." Simon said to himself, contemplating their new partnership. Then he looked at what Rem was doing. "Hey, what are you doing?! Don't knock that flowerpot off the shelf!" He caught the flowerpot with one hand and tried to get Rem off the narrow shelf.

"I want to see the human world now! I've barely seen it and I've been stuck in that box and this room for a loooooong time and I think I should be able to see it now!" He said, clinging onto the shelf.

"You're a liar Tapirmon!" Patamon shouted. "Amylase gives up free reign of her apartment too."

"That isn't much better." Sophie pointed out.

"An alley you say?" Amylase said.

Sophie looked around the room. Hmm... Actually what's left now? That teacher took Tapirmon... That techie guy took the fox Digimon...'

"Correct. This device used to be my cellphone. Got some weird message... got a weird lego thing, and was able to put it in this device. And now here we are." Matice put the device back on his belt.

"Good to hear." Amylase said.

"Oh!" Sophie said finally keeping count of everything in the room. "I guess. You're the only one left..." she said to the Patamon.

"You say that like it's some kind of bad thing!" Patamon said.

"Oh no no!" Sophie exclaimed defensively. "I find your er... Laid back nature charming. I am glad to have you as a partner." With that last sentence the partnership was struck, an image of Patamon in pixels appeared on Sophie's digivice.

"Good to meet you partner." Patamon said, perching on Sophie's head. "Do I get a name?" she asked.

"Zippora." Sophie replied. "I always have liked that name."

Zippora nodded.

Amylase smiled at all the new partnerships that had been formed. Today she finally had created a force to be reckoned with. The city would be a much safer place.

"Alright everyone." Amylase stood up in front of the blackboard and took a piece of chalk in her left hands. " Now that we've all partnered up I have more to cover about the history and nature of Digital Monsters. The server containing the Digital world was created in 20...."

Before Amylase could finish that sentence those with Model 3 digivice would hear the sound of beeping and whirring.

"Basically Model 3s appear to be linked to GPS. Press the left button to zoom in and out." Amylase said.

If they would do so they'd see that something large was emerging in this school on the first floor.

"Erm, Ms, there's something here, just on the first floor." Alyesha said looking at her Digivice, Kokuwamon looked at the thing to "A-And its really really big." "What should we do?"

Matice, after he heard the news, quickly moved out of the room and went into one of the unused rooms in the school as fast as he could.

"Wait Matice!" Sophie said. "None of us have any idea where we're going yet." Zippora made some moves as if to follow before settling back down as he bolted ahead.

Amylase looked over her shoulder at Aleysha's digivice. "That's the school swimming pool if I'm correct. Champion level. You got to hurry. The swim team will be setting up there in a half hour."
