When I clicked "Delete All" it asked if I was sure (with just text and hyperlinks - kind of jarring). I said yes. It then... asked if I was sure. I said yes a few more times. Then I decided to say no. Still the same screen. I had to close the tab. But at least my messages were deleted.
I love how our society has agreed that certain things are unrealistic because they don't occur in fiction.
