So I wanted to make a Laconic for this page but, having read over the description, I'm not sure what exactly it's supposed to be. Is it "girl goes undercover as a scullery maid, with some other purpose in mind"? Is it "scullery maid goes on to greater things, Cinderella-style"? Is it just "scullery maids exist in fiction"? The examples can't seem to agree - I just purged a Family Guy example that was clearly just someone using the phrase. There's a trope here, or multiple tropes, but it needs focus.
