I'll try my hand at this then, I guess. Here's hoping the signup works out.

Name: Hardy Algandin

Gender: Female

Race: Elf

Appearance: "I like swords, do you like swords?"

Personality: : Hardy is a person who is considered intelligent, but also a bit of an oddball due to her rather unorthodox thoughts and seemingly slightly ditzy manner. She tends to think about things that no one else considers and has a rather active imagination, to the point that she is considered "someone who has their head stuck in the clouds". Due to this she is broadminded and receptive to a lot of things, especially strange quirks and phrases that she often mangles. Despite all this, she is at heart a very kind and helpful person that does her best to help others. When in battle though, she becomes a lot more focused and serious.

Profession: Fencing Instructor

Background: Hardy is not a typical elf. Raised by a human warrior who stumbled upon her being left out in the woods, Hardy grew up under the tutelage of an independent and forward thinking ex-adventurer who proceeded to give her a foundation for strangeness that she would eventually grow into. After she tried adventuring herself at the age of twenty, the adopted elf then wandered the world driven by curiosity and wanderlust and accumulated a lot of experience in her travels- which were often more strange than the average adventurer's too to boot. after extensively traveling the lands and learning the various basics techniques from schools of swordsmanship as well as cribbing things that she deems works from her opponents or fellow adventurers during her long life, Hardy created her own swordsmanship school which she dubbed... "The Hardy School Of Swordsmanship." Unlike her unoriginal school name, the style itself is rather freeform- having no set standard moveset and emphasizing on user creativity and practicality. As it is, currently she's a fencing instructor in a very ramshackle training hall solely due to her romance of wanting to be a hidden old master.

Not the GM here, but the intention of this RP as far as I understand it is that we're playing characters who are typically the NPCs of a dungeon delving RPG. That's why all our other characters are like blacksmiths, shop owners, town guards, an innkeeper, a chef, and so forth. So I don't think your adventurer character would be accepted given the premise of the RP.

The same character but reworked to be like, an instructor who offers sword lessons to adventurers but no longer does adventuring herself would probably be fine though. At least I'd think so. Or maybe another town guard.

As FirockFinion says, that's not really what this RP was intended for, if you'd rework your character to be somewhat like an instructor that'd be acceptable, but as it is I'm afraid I can't accept her.

Idea came to me to make a banker, so I'm going to submit my second character as this.

• Name: Bramwell Bieti
• Gender: Male
• Race: Kaitan

• Personality: Despite the gentle look he gives, his sternness and stubborn hounding of those who fail to pay back loans has led many adventurers to be wary of him. His refusal to back down has given him great success and sometimes failure. Polite, orderly and academic, he prefers the quietness of his home and workplace compared to most of the city.
• Profession: Banker
• Background:
  • He mostly moved around with his merchant as a child, but the most influential member was his great uncle, Brisco, who imprinted onto him about the importance of the coin and its influence on others. Studying and growing up to be a banker, Bramwell mostly kept to himself ignoring whatever was going on.
  • But after hearing about how Hirane had become a free city, bordering three nations and uncontrolled by any of the kingdoms, he was overcome with excitement to see what he could do in that kind of environment. So with a few of his colleagues, associates, contacts and relatives, they went and set up a bank, Central Hirane Bank. It has a steady stream of clients ranging from adventurers to citizens of Hirane to travelers to the militia, with Bramwell happily helping everyone in need that can fulfill the terms set by the bank.

Ah, sorry about that. I had planned on making Hardy like one of those hidden NP Cs that teach special skills pertaining to blades to the adventurers which was why she had that class. Again, sorry about that. ^^.

And I have changed my sign-up so that she's now a Fencing Instructor as well as gave a bit more backstory. Here's hoping second time's the charm.

Can I make an Orc lawyer?

Sure can, just noticed we have no Orcs, so by all means please do.

• Name: Grobnash "Grob" Bloodpunch
• Gender: Male
• Race: Orc
• Age: Late thirties / early forties.
• Appearance: Can be described as rather dashing - at least as far as orcs go. Tall, muscular, and straight-postured, he is your typical picture of orcish health with red pupils, green skin, and a hair and beard that are cut similarly to the man in this image◊. However instead of wearing armor emblazoned with the skulls of the dead and damned as orcs are wont to do, he makes do with a sharp-looking double-breasted suit. Consisting of a silver shirt, black coat and pants with blue pinstripes, real mother-of-pearl buttons, laced suede shoes with red soles, a stylish cape, and a gold pocket sundial with a white gold chain, it lets him present himself as the consummate legal professional. He also won't be found far from his trusty black leather briefcase.
• Personality: As far as lawyers go, he isn't a white knight, nor is he a complete scumbag. He takes attorney–client privilege very seriously, is hesitant to be involved in violence or murder unless extremely necessary, and doesn't cheat his clients, but also maintains connections within the criminal underworld and is willing to resort to using evidence removers, impersonators, and hiring other criminals to protect his clients. He is quite proud of his wardrobe and business cards, frequently seeking ways to improve them and his image.
• Profession: Lawyer, Advocate, and Attorney-at-Law. His law firm is called Bloodpunch Hellbane Zamora, formerly known as Bloodpunch Hellbane and Associates, formerly known as Bloodpunch Hellbane.
• Background: Grobnash knew from an early age that the typical orcish concept of "finding glory in the battlefield" wasn't exactly his cup of tea. When a rather unfortunate incident caused him to gain the ire of his commanding officer, he knew that he would never be able to get promoted in his lifetime, took it as a sign, and chose to retire from the military life. He, along with his cousin (on his mother's side) Argolaakh Hellbane, moved to Hirane shortly thereafter in search of fame, fortune, and other opportunities. After slumming it as adventurers for a few years and going to night school, the pair finally scored big enough to pursue their fortune in a field less likely to get them eaten by legions of zombies in the depths of an uncharted cave.
  With the birth of the law firm Bloodpunch Hellbane, the pair spent several years growing their practice. Along the way they merged with another lawyer, a dark elf by the name of Thessalia Zamora, and added her as the third name partner, forming Bloodpunch Hellbane Zamora. Since she mainly specializes in elder law, estate planning, and taxation, they mostly stay out of her way in terms of clients. Argolaakh, meanwhile, settled into a role as the workhorse of the firm, as well as managing the associates and junior partners. That left Grobnash to serve as the "face" of the law firm, and he is the one most responsible for securing new business, maintaining clients, getting their name out there, and taking on the higher-profile trials when possible.
  He's not complaining, because it gives him a chance to buy new suits.

Accepted with a few nitpicks (only a headsup, nothing serious), Goblin pocket watches are expensive, like, expensive, think of Rolex level expensive, though they do exist at least and I don't assume that you'll write this watch as something really plot important so that shouldn't be a problem. Though suits aren't a real possibility, at least as far as modern business suits with leather suitcases go, this is more medival influenced, if you could change that to something like a nobleman's dress from around that time period that'd be awesome

Also I wasn't quite imagining a modern style suit, more like something out of the Renaissance. Something like this◊, or this◊.

Although I was looking into the history of neckties, and they weren't around until the 1600's, so I'll replace that with a cape.

Ah, those suits look perfect, sorry for the misunderstanding, though you don't exactly have to replace the watch altogether, as said, pocket watches do exist, they're just pretty expensive compared to watches you would hang to a wall, if he could have afforded one (which should be doable considering from what I get the law office seemed to be quite profitable) its absolutely fine if he has it (also much more practical than a sundial considering that a sundial only works when correctly aligned and hence would be more or less useless as a pocket version)

Though anyway you're accpeted.

• Name: Cal'berith Maplesong
• Gender: Male
• Race: Elf
• Age: 758, but looks not a day over 500
• Appearance: Cal'berith ("Cal" for short) is tall and weedy even for an elf. His blond hair grows long and reaches down to his shoulders normally. However. Cal normally keeps his hair in a ponytail that he ties up with a golden band. His ears are long and pointed, and his eyes almond-shaped and a brilliant green. He has a chiseled face, youthful as an elf but with an air of wisdom about it. Finally, he has a long-healed scar over the bridge of his nose. He doesn't like to talk about it.
• Personality: Cal is an amicable, chatty individual, friendly and eager to hear what others have to say. He prides himself as a collector of stories, strange and far off ones being his favorite. However, he doesn't often like to talk about his own past. When asked, he tends to evade the question and change the subject. He especially doesn't ilke being asked about his scar.
• Profession: Cal is the bartender of a friendly little pub known as the Golden Gryphon.
• Background: Little is known about Cal's background, except he has been working at the Golden Gryphon for over 100 years. He does not like to discuss his past. He came from the Living Forest when he was an initiate, shortly after the city was founded, and immediately took a liking to the pub, to the dismay and confusion of his fellow initiates. He eventually stayed in Hirane, ostensibly to watch against possible oppression by the humans, centaurs, or orcs. That was his excuse anyway; it was fairly obvious that he had simply grown attached to the pub and he didn't want his elven brethren to be scandalized by his staying there.

Accepted, though a heads up: I presume that by 'the city' in 'shortly after the city was freed' you mean Hirane (sorry if not, then it was just a misunderstanding from my end) never was under any sort of foreign opression, after its founding the Governments of the Humans, Centaurs and Orcs for a while debated who should own the city, in that period though nobody 'owned' the city per se, then the three races came to an agreement that nobody should own the city (since it likely would only spur needless wars over the Dungeon), hence it was declared a 'free city' - as in nation free, so 'freed' doesn't really apply here.

Yeah, I meant Hirane. It was really late when I wrote the post. Sorry, I'll fix it soon.

Name: Aldivn Creta
Gender: Male
Race: Elf
Age: 42
Appearance: Has forest green eyes with grey-white hair, a cheerful expression will almost be seen on his face. He wears clothes of a wide array of greens, blues and reds.
Personality: Always happy and cheerful, but isn't too keen on seeing the Risen Ones as it both spooks him out, but he has had a history with them. He tries not to offend any friendly undead though. Tries to never disappoint a customer.
Profession: Tailor and Leatherworker
Backstory: As a child, all the dead of his town, Sarikin, suddenly rose from the grave. A necromamcer that had a blood feud with the builder of the town tried to end it. The elves fled through the trees, but soon the dead had the forest on fire. Only those who were fast on the ground made it. Aldivn and his mother fled the town into a human settlement. Aldivn now tries to bring his town unique colors and masterwork leather armor to others.

Name: Fei Silvre

Gender: Female

Race: Nightwalker (one who can see in the dark, and is mainly nocturnal. May have slightly birdish faces, or other birdlike features. Her ancestors were apparently created in a magical experiment in an attempt to give men wings, but the birdlike characteristics have decreased over the years. Called nightwalkers due to their nocturnal tendencies) (sorry, just went ahead and thought of my own race there :) )

Age: 16

Appearance: Slightly owlish eyes, that go from yellow to silver depending on the lighting, she has grey hair, braided with feathers through it. She wears a black tanktop with black leggings and a grey coats with black highlights over it. Simple stud earrings, silver, and one yellow fabric anklet.

Personality: Sneaky, sly, snarky and a cheapskate, she never pays for anything she doesn't have to. Worships the god of thieves, tricksters and lawyers.

Profession: A pickpocket and a thief, and a great haggler. Tends to steal from cocky adventurers, but does not keep most of the things she steals. Would be close with Kayla, due to her being a fence.

Background: She grew up on the streets of Hirane, stealing from everybody and anybody. She still does.

Sorry, I just realised that I pulled you into my character intro. It is just because Kayla is a fence, so I figured she would know the thieves in Hirane. I am happy to delete that if you would like.

Hm, you would be the first actual burglar, that should mix things a bit up, I like it, yes accpeted

And regarding your own race, as I said in the OP, Races can be allwoed on the fly.
