I just find him boring and terrible.
You mean Keith, right?
My various fanfics.Pretty sure they're referring to Lance. Keith isn't boring once you watch season 2.
For Overlord on Masako Nozawa: That's PRECISELY IT. This might be her last chance!
LOL. Im also kidding...ish.
Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here.I don't know if I'd agree with that, but I'd suggest Son Of Sharknado finish Season 2 before he makes a final judgement on Keith if he hasn't already, because while he's still probably my least favorite paladin it did turn me around on him enough to no longer hate him at least.
And the bonding moments with Allura do bring out Keith's more compelling side, moreso than the Blade of Marmora stuff did even. Which is part of why I'm enjoying this ship so far despite its conventionality.
I don't really feel Allura's scenes with Keith were all that good.
Mostly because I didn't get the feeling they LIKED each other, but that they had to work together because he's the red paladin and it sure as hell won't let Coran pilot it.
They seem to view each other as kindred spirits. And Keith seems pretty depressed after Allura appears to reject him over the reveal about his heritage. So he does care about her opinion and want her approval even if it's nothing romantic yet.
It felt like a natural progression from a working relationship to genuine friendship and maybe the spark of something more.
Then again I like Keith in Season 2 because he turns from a Flat Character into a classic super robot lead. Hot blooded, brave, and likely to yell "ROCKET PUNCH!" during a fight.
Ehh, season 2 doesn't really do much for Keith besides enrich his backstory. Personality-wise he's still the empty husk from season 1. If anything Allura is the one mainly affected by Keith's revelations because we get to see her racist side.

3DS FC: 1719-3694-1541I see a personality through his attempts to guard it. He feels more developed than say, Hunk was that season.
Bah. All of them suck, even the characters I like (<High Fives Shiro, Pidge and Hunk>)
I'm just there for the Giant Robot.
And now, I've solved the debate with the logical third option.
One Strip! One Strip! He shows more emotional range this season than he did in the first one, where he was perpetually scowling and kind of a dick to anyone who wasn't Shiro. Here we see more of his caring and sensitive sides. He's been rounded and mellowed out, even if the container he's filling happens to be that of a very generic character archetype.
@Black Lion Pidge: Pidge is already accidentally being set up by the writers as a better leader than Keith is. She has selfish reasons to go off and do her own thing, but got enough Character Development that by the end of season 2 she is balancing finding her brother and father with helping the team and won't just drop everything to go chasing after Matt. Whereas Keith keeps derailing missions because there's a possibility he could learn more of his past.
Keith is okay as a character but I really hate all the Character Focus on him and how the writers kept forcing Shiro to be their KEEF LEADER mouthpiece. He's just... Not leader material. He makes an okay Lancer but not a leader.
Oissu!Pidge isn't leader material, either, not by a long shot. She's good as the techie, but she's not good at giving orders to others under pressure.
My point was not that Pidge is a good leader, but that Keith is a worse one. Allura should probably lead them all things considered.

Oissu!Keith is an ideal leader in the field. Allura comes off more as a strategist, the person directing the action.
How is Keith a good leader? He only ever follows his own impulses.
Oissu!Bravery, thinks about his squad first (he's the one catching whoever gets hurt), and dedicated to the task at hand.
First season yes, but second season made his concern for others a big part of his Character Development.
He's still very rash and impulsive. As late as the final mission he derails it for his own purposes. It works out for him due to the circumstances but it's still not what I'd call prime leadership material, not when Allura and Shiro have both been capable leaders from the start.
Keith is just way better Lancer material to me.
Oissu!Seems legit since it came from a VA's Twitter, which means Shiro is off having adventures on Pollux or something. Of course, if he is, does that mean he's now the Sixth Ranger? Because they always get their own mecha, usually one that combines with the primary five.
Is Kimiko Glenn going to voice a character on the show?
Bad news, folks. Dreamworks seems to be cracking down HARD on Mir for the recent leaks, to the point where the future of the show and its staff's careers are very much in real danger.
At least, that's what I've heard on tumbr.
He's not even that womanizing or that much of a scoundrel. He just flirty and can be a bit arrogant sometimes. He's more cool-headed in heated situations than Keith is, that's for sure.
