Michael tried to push himself up looking to the pair, confused. "Uh-well.. I-i-it would help if we k-knew where you're from? I-Its hard to send you h-home otherwise." he timidly questions back, very confused. Looking over to Mitch with a cautious look but one clearly that he didn't want to see a fight break out in here.

Russell chuckled a little, a look of pride and excitement at the response. Dismounting from the board and picking it up, hooking it to his bag to keep a hold of it now.
"It's fun, hard though. Most others just fall straight off just trying to balance on it." He now verbally commented to the group in response to them speaking in normal ranges. His voice clear with pride over the fact he could do soo well with it, tricks and all.

"And its way faster than walking!" He paused for a moment wandering towards Ra again and petting some more, despite them rejoining the pack and as a result being able to hear all the mindsounds. With his watch fixed, he could push past some weird background noise. "How do Tinish things work, like do you bite the controls or?" Russell question, his ignorance of alien tech and races clear.

Food Court

The boy entered the food court, it was relatively calm many people were still getting up or in their quarters. A few table of people eating were dotted about, the smell of breakfast filled the air. The boy went over and grabbed a tray, getting into the queue behind a pair of engineers discussing reverse engineering some kind of alien tech... Still not something the kid cared about.

Suddenly a hand lands on his shoulder lightly rubbing and nudging it. A female voice from behind him in the queue. "Good morning Thirteen, did you sleep well? We have a long day ahead of us today."

The boy turned to look up at the woman, a soft-polite smile on his face. "Yeah, I slept good. Did you sleep well Dr, Cornelia, and is it another AI trial?" He questioned back with a curious look and polite smile.

The doctor smiled back. "I slept fine. For our work today actually not. After you get a small check-up with Dr, Masters we're going to try some more practical tests today. Don't worry it won't be anything too difficult, we just want to see how well your AR-Field is progressing."

The boy looks hesitant at hearing this. "My AR-Field, but it collapsed on me last time. What if I make a mistake again?" He questions with a anxious tone.

The doctor just shook her head again, kneeling down to his level and putting a hand on his shoulder. "Your do fine alright, we'll have all the medics on standby again if something does happen but it's nothing to worry about. The collapse last time wasn't your fault and this time Captain Austin will be there and he's looking forward to seeing you do well." She realistically encourages him, trying to reassure and calm his anxieties.

The boys face lights up at hearing the Captain's name. "Really? Austin will be there? Awesome! I'll do my best!" He excitedly responds, bouncing a little bit in response to said feelings.

The doctor just chuckled a little and nudged the boys shoulder in the direction of the queue before standing up fully again. "Thatta boy, now come on its time for us to get something to fill that tummy of yours."

The boy paused and turned back realizing the queue had moved quite a bit. "Oh sorry." He responds heading up and collecting his food. Which, well despite the boys youth and small size he collected ALOT of food. Like more than even some of the largest adults in the room were having. A good two or three portions worth though unlike everyone else it seemed he didn't need to pay for it. Once collected he takes the food to the table with Dr Cornelia and begins to eat, making casual small-talk with the woman who seemed to indulge him talking about sports and TV shows and games among some other childish things that she likely didn't know or care much about.

During this time Torvahk kept watch on the various things that were happening throughout the ship. He would note the group of people in the Med Bay that to an outside perspective looked like they were just standing around unconsciously not doing anything. While he would have found this to look rather odd, Torvahk didn't think it was worthy of worrying about that much. Instead he spent several minutes, clicking a nearby pen out of boredom until he noticed the mysterious human-looking people show up out of nowhere in the lounge. If there was any audio feed in the Troperia's security systems, Torvahk would have been trying to listen with his Neural Scanner/Translation Application while watching carefully what was happening next.

Yachesa and Yachesen shared a look, and then Yachesa looked back to the strangers.

"We... don't know," she admitted. "We..." The data her brother had shared with her was still almost too scary to comprehend, and the parts that weren't too scary were simply too complicated.

"We don't remember," Yachesen said. "Most of what we remember is fake. We probably came from Terra, in the early 22nd century, but we don't know for sure."

"I don't want to wait three years!" Yachesa burst out.

Hospital Ward - Dr, Kelly Master's office

KNOCK... KNOCK... KNOCK... KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK... KNOCK
...
KNOCK, KNOCK, KN-

"That's enough now, you can come in. I'm suppose to be checking your health not your musical door skills." A female voice calls through the door to the boy, who stood out in the hallway knocking having finished his breakfast a while ago.

It was early morning still as the boy went in, the office was relatively large. A sturdy black desk sat near the blinded window to the hallway with a small computer atop. A long medical examination table with a side table of medical equipment, including a number of restraints. A pair of metallic lockers sit across from the door, flanking him as he enters, beside the door is a standing anatomy skeleton sitting in the room. A door to a closer is on the far side of the room. A height measuring chart is upon the back wall near other forms of measuring equipment.

The boy entered, looking a little cautious as he approaches over to sit upon a white chair near the desk. She sat there, the doctor dressed in her white coat and stethoscope around her neck. "Whats with that look little guy. You know i don't bite."

The boy looked down at his hands in his lap, stretching out his fingers and causing a distortion of almost digital seeming hexagonal tiles appear in in the air and vanish, "Urm, Dr Cornelia is wanting to conduct another AR test today. It didn't go well last time..."

"Lukee, try not to worry about it. You'll get the ionafield in a state. I'll make sure you're strong enough or I wont let them even try it alright? Even then, if you're feeling like your lose control you just have to tell them. They'll let you stop the test remember, you don't have to do anything your not comfortable with." The woman almost affectionately reassures, rolling her chair over and putting a arm around the boy's shoulder, playing a little with his silver hair with her finger.

The boy rests his head against her arm, nuzzling it a little for a moment a little affectionately. "...alright. Doct-"

"Come on Lukee, just call me Kelly, you don't need to follow restrictions in here."

The boy just nods and nuzzles her arm slightly more before sitting upright again. "Yeah, sorry... Just the others are really strict."

"I know Lukee, I know..." Kelly responds to him, a slightly sad tone as she gets to work on the medical examination. It starts off with some small basic questions of how he had been feeling, any issues and how he had been eating, all basic enough. It then continued on, small tests of his breathing as she listened to his heart and lungs with her stethoscope, checking for any issues. The boy didn't have much issue letting her do her examination except reflectively pulling away from the cold stethoscope.
The doctor jotted down the results on a clipboard.

Next the examination moved onto testing basic reflexes, how his eyes reacted to a light shone in them, how his knee jolted with a light tap, as well as a short test on the computer of his reaction time to a few flashing dots.
The doctor jotted down the results on a clipboard.

Next the pair got up and went over towards the examination area. Using the equipment to test for the boys height, weight, the diameter of his arms, his waist, chest, thighs. A vast variety of measurements. Overall confirming what visual scanning will tell you, he was rather small, equally muscular at 4ft and 4inches tall (135cm), his weighed 4st 10lb (30kg). Nothing alarming about it, everything in acceptable ranges even if he was rather small.
The doctor jotted down the results on a clipboard.

Next they both moved over to the examination bed, the boy mostly undressing as he laid upon the table under the bright light. The doctor beginning to move her hands along his body, carefully feeling for issues, giving a full physical examination before she moved on. She dimmed the bright overhead lights, pulling up a ultra-violet one to scan him over with, tracing it over his body to reveal even more of the circuitry lines across his body, seemingly at multiple layers, some just beneath the skin and others deeper within, even some showing upon his face. They criss-crossed his entire body head to toe in this large almost crystalline pattern. She checked they weren't suffering any issues from growth or damage.
The doctor jotted down the results on a clipboard.

"Doctor?"

"Apparently he's not aging. Or not aging as quickly. Interesting..."

"So, these bad grown-ups, they planted your false memories?" Zevai snarled. The misuse of mind-state alteration... Well. That'd happened once, back when the technology was new. The uproar was tremendous. There was much debate on how they should be punished - the moderates advocated the summary execution and erasure of everyone involved. To children, no less. The tea kettle whistled, and Zevai grabbed a packet of tea, and poured herself some water. "Anyone else, while I'm holding it?"

Yachesen shrank behind his sister slightly, looking at Mitch from behind her.

"Yachesen," he said quietly.

"We just used the holes," Yachesa said. "The bad grownups gave them to us. So we used them to get rid of the grownups and then we ran away."

"Modulatable Localized Wormhole Generation," Yachesen said. "The creation of a wormhole at spacetime coordinates of the user's choosing, within a bounded range. That and a rudimentary knowledge of physical conservation laws allowing them to be effectively weaponized."

"I most heartily agree," Ejra said, pushing himself out of the chair and following Dominic. "What a marvelous adventure!"

When they left the room, they'd find themselves in a museum full of similar rooms, rooms full of similar paintings and more frozen clocks. The rooms were arranged nonsensically, and anyone with a good sense of direction would soon notice that some of the rooms logically had to exist in the same space as rooms they had passed through before, judging by the layout.

Just laying out this area, they don't actually have to do all that wandering immediately.

Whistler shrugged. "It depends on who designed it. Most of our ability to build and manipulate comes from our ability to synchronize our bodies, like how a human can use their hands and feet at the same time. The Godsgift is designed for Tinish pilots, so most of the buttons are mounted on front-facing panels, switches and sticks designed to be gripped with teeth and so on. But we can manage with human-centric designs too."

He thought for a second. "I bet a set of hoverboards programmed to stay within a meter or two of each other would work. Wouldn't be hard to rig up a gyroscope to keep it upright. One could be calibrated as the master board, and the others could be independently controlled but stay within range of that one." He was in full nerd-mode, already designing a Tine-usable hoverboard.

Hospital Ward - Dr, Kelly Master's office

The doctor finished writing notes on the clipboard and wandered over to where the boys clothes had been rested, a chair nearby and picked up the metallic mask he brought in under his arm as he walked back.

"Okay i'm done on that side, need to check your ionafield and implants are working fine still. Can you sit up for a moment?" She politely asked trying to be comforting, the boy did so on the examination bed, still nearly naked minus some minor clothing to protect his dignity and privacy. Facing away from the doctor.

"Ready." He replied, in a way that clearly showed he was kinda used to this. It was just normal procedure at this point.

"Okay, hold still as I put it on. Then you can lay back down again." The doctor replied, a frown on her face the boy couldn't see as she reached over and lowered the mask onto his face and brought the straps around to the back. A black connected attached them togeather which she seemed to click a few times with a dial, tightening it till it was fixed to the right size. A green light appearing as the locks switched on, a few more beeps as the small data-ports opened up on the sides of it.

"Sigh...alright you can lay back down now." She announced. The boy in response indeed pushing himself back and laying down again, resting his head on a pillow that was put on the table.

The doctor took some cables from the trolly and attached them to the data ports, not one or two but four or five. The boys legs or shoulders twitched a little as each was connected but didn't let out any verbal response of pain or discomfort. "Alright, just going to run some diagnostics. Just try to relax for a few minutes alright, we're nearly done." She informed the boy whom nods in response, as she heads over to the computer and begins to check the data.

Searching through detailed pages of results, and diagrams of his body that visualize on screen. Projections of his physical state, his internal organs, and even how he would look as he got older; in addition to data on this AR-field. Additionally various controls and numbers seemed to allow her to adjust things if necessary though she didn't do such. Just took notes and examined, looking rather sad as he did so. Perhaps feeling uncomfortable or guilty looking at the monitors, at this boy who wasn't really human anymore. At least by the biological textbook definition.

this went on a while, 10, 20 minutes. The machines masks lights blinking, the boy laying mostly still having eventually picked up a tablet, reading something a comic perhaps or a book upon it as time passed, holding it up above his head as he laid there...

After this time, the Doctor finished her work. Getting up and going over, disconnecting the boy from the equipment and then after sitting him up, and after pressing a few buttons on the back on the masks mechanism, ones that would be nearly impossible for the boy to do by himself removes the attaching parts. Letting him slip it off into his hands, where he rubs his face a few times now having it off. "So, are we done now?"

"We should be, go ahead and get yourself dressed again. I'll just need a second to jot these all down."

The boy nodded and went over and did such, putting the remainder of his clothes back on, and holding the mask again under his arm. Listening to the rhythmic tapping of the Doctor on her keyboard as he did such. He was a little nervous, in a way hoping she would say something was wrong and that he couldn't do the test today. He doubt it but, he hoped so like a kid might hope he didn't have to go to like any other kid might, not wanting to go to school because a test or pop-quiz is coming.

After he had changed and she had finished inputting the data, the boy went over and leaned on the back of the chair he previously sat. "So...?"

She turned her head and smiled back, a slightly faked smile but a smile. "Your results are mostly normal all things considered. Still your body is having trouble with growth after the previous treatments. I'm confident seeing this batch though, it will pass with age and you should be just fine."

"..and in terms of the AT test..?"

"It seems your ionafield, implants and subsystems are all operating alright and your body seems strong enough to manage it. Just try to take it slow and easy, keep in mind how you project it and how much energy you direct at any time alright?"

:"Oh... yay..." He falsely let out a celebratory cry quietly.

The woman frowned. "Hey, its going to be fine. It was a accident last time was all, we've taken steps. Nothing will happen this time. Now toughen up a little, the Captain is going to be wanting to see you, his brave little Cadet." She pampered and encouraged, trying to cheer him up even if she didn't like it either.

The boy suddenly straightens up and nods. "y-Yeah, I can do it. Captain Austin needs me to do it! I promised i'll be his Cadet." A surge of invigoration at hearing this name again.

The woman smiled brightly and encouragingly, all false but the boy couldn't tell. "That's the spirit, now go on. He's waiting for you, third floor test lab." She tried to make him vacate so she could be alone and just think about this.

The boy saluted, full military style and method. "Aye, aye." His final few words before scampering off out of her office quickly...

Strangely, Yachesen seemed to be slightly more comfortable talking to Michael than to anyone else. He still hid behind his sister, but he peered at Michael around her and said, "Wormholes: A higher-dimensional phenomenon that allows travel in more than the naturally-accessible three of height, depth, and width. In addition to time, wormholes allow travel through other, higher dimensions, which enables instantaneous transit between any locations within range, without violating relativity in the process."

He looked down, abashed. "We, um. We don't actually understand the technology itself, but... they put it in our bodies and taught us how to use it. I can do the math that lets me put the wormholes where I want them, but I don't really understand the process that makes it possible."

Zevai frowns at the telekinetic control of the teapot, then shrugs and puts it down. "Wormholes: Meiliri tangle bridges. What he said. How they can do it, I don't know, but our Gates are paired wormholes. A wormhole is created between two nearby points in space, and attached to special frames which periodically calibrate and stabilize them. One is towed to its destination, and the other is left where it started. Voila, wormhole transit network. Problem is the space between them - how we've figured out how to make them, at least - has to be no more than a few millimeters. And they start small. The ring frames also stretch the openings. How or if that relates to whatever they put inside our new friends here I don't know."

Something seems to click in Mitch's mind as the others start talking about the mechanics of wormholes. "Huh, that sounds like our own warp gates and hyperspace beacons. Well, really, the Alotos invented the latter, we just copied it. No single psion's been able to open one by themselves without assistance, though. My brother was obsessed with the math for months, and he pretty much drilled it into my head too, but even both of us together can't do it." He goes rapidly with a scholarly enthusiasm. Then he realizes what he's doing.

"Gah, sorry. I'm rambling. I have several hypotheses in my head, but now's not the time to babysit them. Anyways." Once the tea's prepared, Mitch rapidly cools it down while pulling it over to him, then he takes a sip. "So, you need to get home, but you don't have the energy or computing power to reconnect to the specific place and time." He pauses, thinking what to say next. They could probably do it using the ship's core, but there are far too many unknowns and risks to even try that right now, and the twins would probably run right to it if he told them about it.

"You can stay here for now, I guess, if you need a safe place." He offers them.

Dominic looks around, noticing the frozen clocks and paintings. "It seems like a disproportionate number of these memories is dedicated to you. Then again, we've only scratched the surface - this could just be what was on his mind when he was last awake." He says to Ejra. "And the frozen clocks... they could mean a number of things. Longing to go back to these moments and live in them forever comes to mind."

Troperia Security Room:

While Torvahk's focus mainly remained fixated on the events happening within the lounge, a sudden change of light that happened within the corner of his eye caused him to notice that one of the cameras had been disabled suddenly. Though Torvahk wasn't familiar with where he was looking at exactly at first, he had consulted with the information on the camera monitors and his map to deduce that whatever happened had occurred somewhere in one of the storage decks. Removing himself from the chair, Torvahk would make a quick stop to the nearby weapons locker that was behind a locked door which one could assume was for extra, albeit fairly redundant security. If the door and the locker were both unlocked for whatever reason Torvahk would simply grab what he was looking for, otherwise he'd end up having to pay for incurred damages for destroying both doors with the strength his armor provided him with to obtain a shock baton whenever and if he ever got payed.

"Apologies mine..." Torvahk commented to himself in a low voice that was somehow still picked up by the NS/T Application as he left the security room and navigated his way through the halls until he'd reach the storage decks of the ship.

Troperia

Silas's Mind

"Huh..." Greg answers, and just kinda follows the others.

Bridge

Rakiri reads the message, and puts the device back in his pocket. "Good. At least this trip won't be a complete waste..." Getting up, he leaves the bridge and goes back to his room to change his outfit to that if a vest, tank top, and army pants. Satisfied, he heads back outside to wait for David.

Alexander

Barber Shop

Amos jumps slightly at Peter's question. "H-Huh? N-No, I'm fine. Just...being jittery for no real reason...Sorry..." he answers. Taking a deep breath, he finally decides to open the file that wasn't a diary entry.

the Troperia

Lounge

Michael looked to Yachesen and nodded, slowly, mostly understanding it. "A-alright." he peered to Mitch and back. "Y-yeah, I don't k-know h-how much we can help but. I-If you need a place to stay, u-urm. The Cap-captain would defiantly let you without a iss-ssue. We have spare quarters.." He tried to smile back but he kept looking as he said all of that to Yachesen sister, maybe a little scared himself of her brashness thus far.

Second deck, empty storage sector. Lohke's Nest.

Torvohk didn't need to go far, the security room was on the second deck already. En-fact this unused section of bulkhead was really close by to the room. He went up-to the door, it was dented, slight ajar. Pushing it open the room was dimly lit, the ground felt sticky, like his boots were in wet glue. A thick and deep smell of Ammonia and Sulfur was in the air. It was hard to see much further in with the lights out, the room was dead quiet however.

Silas' Mind

"..why are all of these the same?" Matthew questions looking around at the paintings and frozen clocks, seemingly very confused and then looking to Greg. "So Captain, this a normal thing around here...?"

Alexnader Station

Outside the Barber Shop

"Aww, if it always stays straight upright, you cant do any cool tricks on it." Russell notes slightly disappointed by the idea though he did have this excited look on his face though continuing to pet Ra as he did so. "Whistler, you really like tech don't you?" He responded with a slight childish chuckle.

"I can see why the lady got mad at me before, about me not knowing how to do stuff on a ship, when even you guys can pilot a ship. It's my first time I've been off-world."

Amos' Head

Amos opens the only non-diary file he accidentally downloaded from the watch, the medical report.

>CONFIDENTIAL PATIENT DATA
Nos-Lycarin Specialist Children's Hospital

  • Patient name: Russell Andrew West
  • Patient age: 10 Terran yr's old.
  • Patient DOB: 4th of March (Terran Calendar)
  • Patient species: Terran human, CX1 and DL3 gene mods.
  • Patient address: [REMOVED]
  • Blood type: O+
  • Pre-existing condition summery: Duel, neutralopticalectomies due to severe infection, optical cataract and Optical-necrosis from deep treated staphylococcus infection (treated, now benign).
  • Previous treatment summery: CN13 Cochlear-booster implantation, multiple hospitalizations for systemic infection.

Most recent session summery (Added: 9 Months earlier)

Included as an addition within this file is the full diagnostic report of my recent examination. I believe I have a diagnosis to the recent chest pain and discomfort of the patient. I have completed my cardioactive scan of his body using standard medical nanobots. There is a weakness in his various myocardic muscles within his heart seem to have suffered damage from an unknown source. Additional tests are required.
I am confident that his health is not at risk, the damage is not serious and should not impact the patients ability to lead a regular lifestyle, however I would recommend he is regularly brought in for cardiovascular test to check if the condition either worsens or if the myocardium naturally heals. Additionally it should be logged on his file that injures or trauma to his chest cavity, lungs or rib-cage could result in further complications, as could potentially extreme stress potentially have a increased risk of non-threatening palpitations or irregular arrhythmia.
~Dr, Millisada Vulpieer, Cardiovascular Technician.

The additional information in the file just seems to be a full medical report, with pretty much every detail seemingly on-hand, essentially a doctor or technician would be able to download it and get all the data they could want or need for treating him. Having deep details Amos wouldn't understand without medical training. A brief overview, ignoring his condition with his sight and whatever this report says about his heart. He is relatively healthy, just being brought in for a lot of check ups, and I mean a lot more than was nessiary.

Second Deck, Empty Storage Sector:

It only took a few minutes for Torvahk to locate the room in question that he suddenly lost camera feed for. Upon noticing the door, Torvahk immediately felt anxious enough to keep his shock baton poised to strike anything that might have appeared out of nowhere as he kicked the door open forcefully and carefully entered the room. Because Torvahk wasn't using his independent life support, but rather breathing the oxygen already present in the Troperia, he would notice the rather unpleasant scent of ammonia mixed with sulfur.

"Pleasant not is this..." Torvahk muttered to himself, again loud enough to be heard and (mis)translated. He couldn't help but notice that the ground was sticky: Never a good sign, especially when one's strength rested on their mobility. Torvahk also didn't care for the unnatural amount of silence in the room, expecting to hear the distant hum of machinery at the very least. Regardless, Torvahk continued exploring the room with shock baton in his right-talon hand, and his left talon-hand close to his hip in case he needed to quickly fire his hand cannon at anything stupid enough to try a jump-scare. While the earlier scents of ammonia and sulfur were prevalant, Torvahk was kept on edge by the fact that he occasionally swore that he detected a strange and unfamiliar scent that was impossible for him to recognize, a trait that seemed to be common for alien species.

RETCON ALERT: This portion of the twins' story has been retconned out. Please ignore anything involving the twins in this post.

[Troperia Lounge]

Yachesa snorted at Mitch's understanding of their situation.

"Sure," she said derisively, "if that's the best you can understand it."

"Be nice," her brother murmured. "He's big."

To Michael, the girl nodded. "Good. We want a room. Just one. We have to stay together."

"We should try to find a computer," her brother said. "Maybe I can figure out where and when we are, and how to get back to..." he trailed off.

"It doesn't matter," Yachesa said. "I bet you're smart enough to figure out how to get our real memories back. Once we know where we're from, we can go back."

"...If we still want to," her brother said.

[Silas's Mind]

Ejra nodded in agreement with Dominic. "They're all memories of me," he said thoughtfully, moving from one to the next. He didn't see any pattern to them other than the subject matter. "It's like we're in an entire section of his long-term memory dedicated to obsessing over the year of his life that he spent with me. I knew he would have trouble after I left, but this is way beyond anything I expected. As for the clocks..." He stopped in front of a wall-mounted one that was frozen at the same time as all the others—4:53. "I don't think they mean he simply wants to go back. I think he is still stuck in the past. Whatever this exact time represents, he hasn't moved forward from that moment."

Hearing Matthew's comment, Ejra looked over his shoulder at the monster and grinned.

"Probably not," he said. "My little honey-bunch is a little unstable. It's not every day you meet someone who'll build a Museum of You in their mind. But I doubt we're going to learn anything new in this place." He started heading for the door. "It's all just the same obsession. We need to move on if we're going to accomplish anything. Not that I have any idea how to get out of... Oh," he said as he reached the doorway and looked into the next room, where Silas himself was standing in a corner, staring at one of the paintings. "Hello there."

Silas didn't respond.

[Alexander Station—Outside the Barber Shop]

Whistler nodded.

"I'm a pilot, but I got my start as an engineer," he said. "I designed some of Godsgift's drive components, actually. Nothing to do with the AI," he added hastily, not wanting to be held responsible for Godsgift's issues.

On the subject of piloting and being familiar with ships, he just shook a few of his heads dismissively.

"A hundred years ago," he said, "My people were living in hovels and castles, and we were fighting wars against each other with knives and slings. If you've never been on a spaceship, you can hardly be expected to know how to operate one. You'll pick up the skills in time, if you want to learn. I can show you how to pilot the Gods..." He trailed off, realizing with disappointment that a single human couldn't pilot Godsgift, since it was designed for at least four Tines to pilot simultaneously. "Well, I'd have to help, but that wouldn't be so bad."

Upon hearing Yachesa's comment, for a moment all traces of friendliness and patience leaves Mitch. "I understand you committed mass murder just before coming here, which is reason enough for me to kill you where you stand because you're a danger to everyone else on this ship." He says, still mostly in his normal speaking voice yet a lot colder. He then reverts to somewhere between the two states.

"Of course, it'd be much easier if everyone just gets along, so perhaps you could listen to your brother." He sips his tea again. "You can't just barge into someone else's ships, make rude demands and expect them to bend over."

Silas' Mind

"Not... really." Dominic says to Matthew, nodding to what Ejra said and continuing to follow him. He sees Silas when he goes into the room. "Oh, I didn't think we'd find him this early. ...If this is in fact him."

Alexander

Barber Shop

"Alright, then..." Peter decides not to ask further, at least in public. He watches himself in the mirror as the barber continues to work on his hair, finishing the cut and starting to apply the dye.
