Amos pulls out what looks like a dark grey engineer's jumpsuit with a number of pockets. Shrugging, he decides it'll work and tucks it under his arm before continuing to search. He does pause for a moment however when Russell speaks up. "Oh. Well, sure. What is it?"

Hallway

"...I see. I wonder if you could teach me that trick. It sounds fascinating." he answers with a smile. At Mirielle's suggestion, he nods. "He seems to enjoy the idea, so I support it as well. Not that I really have a say, anyway." he chuckles. He notes Kyerine holding the bear quite easily, but at this point has learned that his young friend seems to be full of surprises. "And yes, you're right. We can head on up there."

"..." Amos takes a moment and sighs, shaking his head lightly as he sees Russell's expression. This is why he tried to insist an apology, but...and he wasn't going to be a hypocrite and continue to be untruthful. "...Not entirely, no. Peter got angry about what you were saying about relationships and he froze the floor. I tried to convince them both to not try and hide the cause, but they did, so...yeah." Amos answers with another sigh. "Sorry..."

Roof of the Troperia

Rakiri chuckles slightly. "...By the way, nice bedhead."

"Hah. This is the result of 72 straight hours of work and only an hour of sleep. You should try it." Rorik answers back with a laugh of his own, still pointlessly trying to smooth out his hair.

"72 hours...? Geez...Are you alright?"

Rorik simply shrugs, pulling his legs up onto his bed and sitting cross-legged. "Eh, I'll live. Not like we really need sleep anyway, so. I do admit, it does help our minds function better, just like eating does. So, I enjoy getting a few winks when I can. What about you, though? You seem to be living as a Terran presently? How's that going?"

"Well...it feels pretty natural, honestly. Getting used to...body functions was the weirdest part, I guess. Sweat still kinda bites, though. Stings like a bitch. Though, it seems to be helping me build up a little tolerance anyways." Rakiri answers with a shrug. He watches as Rorik seems to stare at him for a while, and realizing it, he continues. "Er...something on me or...?"

Rorik answers with a smirk. "Oh, nothing. Just wondering if that body of yours is fully equipped. From what I can make out, I'd say yeah, which is surprising, knowing you."

At this, Rakiri blushes rather noticeably. "S-Shut up, damn it. So what if it is?" he mutters, causing Rorik to laugh out loud. Eventually, he can't help but laugh at himself. Good to know he certainly hasn't changed, at least.

"I'm not some stupid kid you know, there was no way someone just freezes the floor under someone by accident like that!" He sharply responds clearly very upset.

"Urg- it doesn't matter where I go. Everyone thinks they can just take advantage of me! Do what they want for some laugh, sick craving or whatever the hell the reason and then just lie to my face about it! I'm so tired of it!" Stomping his foot as he shouts out his very upset rant, his nose still bleeding. His anger also seemingly partly aimed at Amos but also clearly rooted a lot deeper and held back.

Sharply turning way dropping the tissue, stepping onto his board. "I'm tired of everyone!" He finishes his venting clearly about to run off in his repressed upset fit.

[Crew's Quarters—Silas's Room]

"Let me Assess you," Bexahn said after a long silence.

Another long silence followed.

"No," Silas said.

"You know that an Assessment, regardless of the outcome, does not confer any obligation to be Conditioned."

"I don't care. I don't want anything to do with your organization."

"Silas," Bexahn said, more forcefully, "you just provoked an emotional reaction from me that completely contradicted my intentions. I walked into this room intending to have a conversation with you. To manipulate you, yes. I don't deny it. To convince you, through conversation, to tell me what I want to know. The fact that I have been thus far unsuccessful does not trouble me—I am used to obstacles, especially with people like you who know what a Prime is capable of. You are supposed to be difficult to read and manipulate. But no one should be able to do what you just did."

Silas stared at her. She could read his thoughts as if he'd spoken them: What she's saying is impossible. But is she telling the truth? Did she slap me as part of the greater manipulation? Is she lying when she says it was unintentional?

How could she convince him? How could she really, truly put him on a level playing field with her, so that he would stop fearing her?

Could she leverage the Caesura codes? He would know that she didn't fear death, wasn't above letting herself be killed if the payoff was worth it in the larger scheme of things. But if the perceived payoff was sufficiently small, perversely, maybe that would convince him that she was being truthful. Certainly he wouldn't expect a Prime to die just to shore up a minor bluff, so if she encouraged him to use the codes, maybe that would demonstrate that it wasn't a bluff.

But what was the angle? What was the shortest path to her goal?

"If you allow me to Assess you, and I find nothing relevant to your supposed... mystery," she said, "I will activate my own Caesura. No—you preset a recording of the codes to play if you choose not to deactivate it. If I find nothing, allow it to play. If you are harmed in any way, you won't be able to deactivate it."

"You could tell me whatever you want," Silas countered. "You could fabricate some story about how I'm secretly a cyborg with anti-Prime powers. I wouldn't know the difference."

Bexahn sighed. There it was again—frustration. Exasperation. These emotions should be virtually impossible for a Prime to actually feel.

Fine, she could hear herself saying, though she quashed the impulse immediately—she could no longer afford to say or do anything in Sy's presence without a conscious decision to do so, then I'll leave, and you can go on as you have been, indulging in whatever drug-addled fantasies you like. You'll probably destroy Godsgift because you simply can't trust that I haven't hidden some malicious influence in his mind. You'll probably kill yourself eventually, whether you do it deliberately or just spiral deeper into self-destructive habits. And I will move on as Primes always do, to a new mission.

She shuddered. That he could even bring such words to her mind was... inexplicable.

But she had another idea. As damaged as he was, as much as he hated Primes, he still...

"Then I have something else to offer you," she said. "If you let me Assess you, regardless of the outcome, I will find Andris. I will get ver to meet with you."

That got his attention. He looked nauseous again—but his eyes were fixed on her face as if she'd just told him the meaning of life.

"Y-you can't," he said. "Primes can't manipulate each other. You... you don't track each other, you don't know where ve is."

True, she was making a big promise. But it was doable. "You know that I can find ver, Silas. It might take me some time, but if I make it my mission, I will find ver. And I am certain that it will not take much convincing to get ver to find you."

His mind was chaos, she could see. Could he believe her? Could he trust her? Could she find—yes, of course she could find Andris, but could one Prime convince another to do something ve'd decided not to do?

And wasn't it worth it, for even the chance of seeing Andris again?

"I—I need to think," Silas said at last.

"I understand," Bexahn said, already rising. "I will occupy myself elsewhere. I assume the Troperia's shipboard AI will be able to contact me when you're ready to give me your answer."

"Yeah," he said. He hadn't moved, still staring at the back of Bexahn's chair. She crossed the room, opened the door.

"And, Silas," she said. "I'm sorry I struck you. It was a mistake. It will not happen again." With that, she left, quietly closing the door behind her.

Bexahn will make her way to an isolated part of the ship to meditate. Maybe somewhere with a view of the stars, like Samara likes to do.

"...Russell!" Amos says, his body already in motion as he reaches out and grabs Russell's wrist, not hard, but enough to at least make him stop moving and listen. "No one is trying to do any of that. I did what I did to try and keep this exact scenario from playing out. I wasn't trying to hurt you, I was trying to avoid conflict...And I know you might not realize it, but did you think about how what you said could have possibly hurt him?" he continues. "He didn't do it to intentionally hurt you...just like you might have done to him. I wish they had just tried to explain that to you, but since they didn't, I'm going to try. You know how it is to be treated when you're different, after all...all of us do."

As he says that, he finally lets him go, placing his cybernetic hand on his hip and sighs. "Now...I understand if you're still angry, but can you at least try to think about what I just said...?"

As Amos grabs onto him Russells body most certainly stops, then tenses up quickly followed by the 10 year old trying to use his other hand to pry Amos and off his wrist with his, pretty meager strength. The look on his face and in his clouded eyes quickly shifting from anger to fear. Letting out piercing panicked scream. "LET GO, LET GO, LET GO OF ME!" In a complete moment of freak out... Then followed by a beep from his wrist.

USER DISTRESS DETECTED - RELEASING PANIC SIGNAL The butler like voice echoes from the personal assistant. A mere moment later it releasing a loud, high pitched and piercing noise changing pitch like a siren. Russell's shout already likely easy for people nearby like say Peter and Chris to hear but even if distracted they would certainly hear this.

As he is released he stumbles back off his board to the wall just behind, his legs shaking, arm holding his wrist and body shivering a little. The siren noise going for a few seconds more before stopping. "I-I...." He mutters still in a bit of his freak out before having a quick facial twitch and learning forward a little, holding his chest.

"O-Okay... but the only thing I-I said is that kissing and s-stuff is disgusting... T-That w-wasn't mean t-to b-be mean." He stutteringly replies not looking at Amos, rather submissively not as defiantly or rebelliously as he is usually. "I-I... I just don't want p-people cheating and w-writing stuff o-on the ship or stuff s-so I can't s-see it..." He continues in reference to the Troperia's words back in the lounge of "Will you stop that?? I'm not a blackboard!".

Still fumbling with the controls the girl controlled by the insectioid creature is essentially ping-ponged back and fourth by the the Troperia's aura spheres knocking it one way and the Captain's punches the other. It was rather comical actually yet the creature wasn't displaying any frustration... Or if it was nobody could tell.

Too far to make out what was going on elsewhere on the floor with Amos and Russell at this point, Kyerine just happily rides along with his chidlish smile. "Kyerine can try and teach everyone stuff like you teach me stuff!"
