Opening...I'll weigh in when I can actually look at the image.
EDIT: ...which I now have. I think it's at least a decent Keep Until Better Image Suggested level and shouldn't have been pulled w/out discussion.

I don't see the problem with it.
(Annoyed grunt)Me neither. It describes fine.
she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportKeep Until Better Image Suggested.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"Same here, seems to werk well enough.
The image doesn't say you have to be familiar with it to understand the trope. It says you have to be familiar with it to understand the reference (which is related to useless in-game hints as far as I can remember it). Well, technically it just says you suck if you don't.
It works.
Check out my fanfiction!Yeah, it works fine. Keep Until Better Image Suggested.
Keep Until Better Image Suggested here as well. The "zelda 2" knowledge is necessary for understanding the "if all fails use fire" reference, not for understanding the trope.
That said, we could probably crop that box out or something just for the sake of avoiding confusion.
Reaction Image RepositoryKinda like this?
Works for me.
she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope Report11 is coolio.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?I don't mind the reference in the original version but 11 is good.
11 is good.
(Annoyed grunt)Let's go ahead and run with 11.
It's up, any ideas for a caption?
"Note: Some enemies may be immune to fire damage."
Also, I took the liberty of commenting out the placeholder caption, mainly because "some caption text" really doesn't work.

Reaction Image RepositoryCrap, forgot to delete it, thanks.
Caption idea is alright.
she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope Report19 works.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"19's in and tagged. Locking up.
The page picture for Attack Backfire was removed some time ago (April of last year) by rodneyAnonymous with the explanation of "removing the image because it SAYS "you have to be familiar with the work to understand this", which is another way to say Just A Face And A Caption"
The picture in question.◊
However, I feel it adequately portrays the trope regardless. A character waving a flaming torch at someone who merely remarks that it feels nice due to the cold weather. The picture itself states that it's a Zelda reference, but I don't think actually knowing the context for the reference is necessary in this case. I didn't want to re-add it without asking first.
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!
