Team Four Star demos a new Visual Novel game that's a giant self-aware parody of Harem games. It looks incredibly detailed and has a lot of options based on choices simply for a demo.

I ended up downloading the demo myself after watching their play. The humor is on point, but I wonder if it's going to go down the same path a lot of modern "otaku-bait anime does where they Lampshade the stupid cliches while still doing the stupid cliches.

Re Zero lampshades the stupid cliches, and then proceeds to rip them apart in a tragic way akin to Evangelion or Madoka Magica.
After seeing No Man's Sky for myself, I understand why the Hype Backlash was so intense.
Indeed. It seems...empty. And not even in the fun Minecraft way of empty, where you build everything yourself.
I feel like Sony and the Devs caved to fan pressure over the game being delayed too much and released it before it was completed.

Not sure if it's a Coincidence, but the Harem Protagonist Kickstarter has undergone a big Colbert Bump even since Taka and Zito did a Let's Play of the demo.
Popular people tend to have that effect.
That's pretty cool though. I've followed the guy's art for a while and it's great that his project took off like this.

Cyber Connect 2 should just make a Hunter X Hunter anime game.
Hell, they should just make all the Anime licensed games out there besides Dragonball, since they along with Dimps seem to be amongst the few developers to get Anime licensed games down right, alongside Treasure.
