Re: Xenogears: Yeah, it was getting low views, which they put down to the format, and will be starting again when they find a format they think will work better. Personally, I think the game just doesn't work with their LP style and is a lost cause

Yeah, a lot of Xenogears seems to rely on the more far-reaching implications of the story, and sometimes it seems like they're not paying attention to plot points.

While the people onscreen not caring about the no-names doesn't mean that you can't care about them, it doesn't necessarily mean that you should, either. You can care about them as much as you want to.
I suppose my question would be why you care about them - it's not like they've really had time to make an impact.

I was actually just joking there...but here's a more serious response.
They can be allowed to do something, sometimes it's a bit disappointing that a character that may possibly have a cool design, personality, or whatever doesn't get utilized.
That's just wasted potential.

Maybe, but really, it's not like they were planning on using any of these PokΓ©mon. They found a team that they're happy with, and they're going to stick with it. There isn't really any potential for them now.

If you want those Pokemon to do stuff, play the game yourself and use them. Team Four Star seems fine with the team they have. Now, if any of THEM die, it'll probably be just as traumatizing as when Alex bit the dust.

That's neither the first time that I've done that, nor the first time that it has been done. They did it before. It's part of the humor, and is actually avoidable by just watching the video that I linked. So honestly, it's kinda ridiculous to me.

TL;DR - Essentially it's an abridging contest where the "prize" is getting your abridged series promoted on TFS' website/channel.
Sounds good for those who have the talent, equipment, and time investment. 
If I had to guess, it'll probably be streamed next Tuesday since Fridays tend to be their "casual" nights.
