I don't remember taking that much damage fighting regular Vegeta when I first played this game which meant Great Ape Vegeta wasn't too much of a problem.

That and they give you some help with the cutscene beam struggle + the clashes.

I wonder when the will start using the blast 1 skills(basically the buffs and stuff like the explosive wave)

I didn't catch it at first, but they mentioned that Howard the coward is playing one of the leads in King's Game. Kind of a shit anime, but still pretty cool.

x4 He does recover health, just not much...

Kaiser and Kirran's arguing with each other when covering Kino's Journey had me laughing.

And I guess people had to vote in stuff like King's Game, Black Clover, and Dies Irae.

Grant and Lanipator talk about superhero films during the Turles fight. Lani also happens to be right about dragon ball games making Goku fight Recoome in full, when that was anything but an even fight. Hell, the game could've repeated what they did with Goku vs. Nappa instead.

That fight is still very weighted in Goku's favor. He seems to do more damage than he should, nobody is armoring Goku's moves, and he had to fight Recoome, Jeice, and Burter and they were still in green health when the mission was done.

By comparison, Bardock was almost dead fighting Freeza Soldier, Appule, and Cui before health recovery for the Freeza fight.

Freeza, Freeza, Freeza, Freeza!

Also, real glad BT 3 lets you play as the villains if they were supposed to win. I remember in BT 1 you were the heroes no matter how little sense it made.

Tenkaichi 2 at least made certain fights have a timer if you weren't suppose to win...but it was a selective thing. It was also a lot harder than 3.

BT 2 also has you winning the battle but the next cutscene shows that you lost and that the opponent was too strong

It was frustrating

Ah, if they plugged in some Gamecube controllers, and used grabs and blast 1 moves...

Oh well, always entertaining to see them play Dragon Ball games.

In BT 3, you play as Bardock in the Special Saga and get to beat Freeza so BT 3 doesn't always let you play the villain when it makes the most sense.

I think Freeza, Cell, and Broly are definitely playable in story missions.

No. It was last episode even they played that mission.

The last time Goku could ever be called heroic in the eyes of the nostalgic.

I still think goku remained heroic after that

They really like that animal football thing

It's hilarious to watch XD

Chi-Chi's character references sound like a fun feature.

Also, we learn why Lanipator never abridged the other Yu Yu Hakusho short film.

is it just me or them saying that letting cell absorbs 18 is more of a Goku move felt really painful?

It doesn't matter. The plot of the Android Saga is structural nonsense requiring the heroes to let Cell get as powerful as he did. It wouldn't surprise me if Future Trunks allowed Cell to absorb 18.

The cringe was real.

A part of me was about to agree, then I recalled sparing Vegeta because he wanted to fight him again. ...Well, still, I can't see Goku actively sacrificing someone like that for the sake of a stronger fight. Even he has limits.

Goku let Vegeta go because he's merciful. He also would have let Frieza go. There is nothing merciful about letting Cell transform.
