I'm in the final stages of writing an audioplay, and I'm kind of wondering if anybody knew some tricks involving sound design and effects.
The story itself is a superhero (or rather, villain) story in a Standard Super-Hero setting, though the city part of the equation is a bit underplayed (Limit City is more Atlanta-esque than New York) and the Space part is a bit more emphasized.
From a character standpoint, the two protagonists are a Mad Scientist and a Witch, and the Antagonist is giant one-eyed starfish alien (Not the trope, think a design akin to a sinister Patrick Star) in a cape. Other characters include a ghost-like gate keeper and a wolf like security guard.
I'd like to see if there are any suggestions I could take with the sound design of everything, and perhaps if anybody knew any kind of recording tricks that might make editing a bit easier. I do have access to a microphone, and I've edited audio before, but recording a story is a different process than building a mashup.

Thanks!
