In my opinion, nothing of value would be lost if we merged those two tropes.

I wouldn't be opposed to a rename of one to a double standard:X Y Y is bad trope.
Several works come to mind where 'two guys and a girl' is known as 'the devil's three way' and considered gross vs a two girls three way is considered awesome. How I Met Your Mother is one more high profile example.

Three-Way Sex is just about occurrences of threesomes in fiction, yet it's listed on the Double Standard index. Meanwhile, A Threesome Is Hot is all about the double standard that a two women/one man threesome is treated as super sexy, while a two men/one woman threesome is treated as gross, yet this trope is not on the Double Standard index.
Since we're currently not allowed to make edits to the Double Standard page, what exactly am I supposed to do with this situation?
