Yes, even sporty girl should've been able to do a better job than what she was shown to have done.

Seriously, Ren'Py is easy to use. Programming is not the hard part of making a visual novel.

The biggest problem with this episode was that it didn't cover anything new and nothing really came out of it - it moved in circles. What was accomplished this episode, really? Andou was being disruptive, again. She threw a temper tantrum and ragequit when called out on her bullshit, again. Buntaro had to go and bring her back, again. Has she learned anything from it, do we have any guarantee she won't do this shit in the future? Hell no, but we are supposed to believe the situation was resolved positively.

She's not the programmer they deserve, but she is the programmer they need right now.

Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.

[up][up]Andou was disruptive period. Again would mean she wasn't in right last time, which isn't true. Last time it was Kuroda fault.

Haha no, Adnou didn't take things seriously, just wanted to play around, wanted to twist the whole project to her own whims, and left when she didn't get her way like a kid on playground. It wasn't as bad as in this episode, since she didn't have an occasion to do any real damage yet, but it was a clear indication that she'll be a pain in the ass to work with. Lo and behold it turned out to be the case.

Beach episode. Mostly fun on Sayuki's expense. Which she also accepts, since events are good even if she's at the butt of them. Also, Yuuka's a bit of a jerk.

Episode 6 in which everyone goes to a beach.

And girls do appear to have fun there, especially at the bathhouse. Probably enough "fun" to get the boy on the other side of the wall pretty uncomfortable.

And later, during the fireworks scene, Andou shows some character growth as she apologizes for her recent behavior in a way that can be considered at least somewhat sincere. At the same time, she absolutely doesn't feel the need to apologize for groping Kuroda at the baths - that was just some skinship between girls, right?

Someone's getting jealous?

So called fanservice episode.

Some are more excited about the beach than others. Well, tan is good for plebeians after all.

"The trashy slut character" - Sayuki feeling especially Savage today.

Bunta narrowly avoids answering the question that leads to bad end no matter which option he chooses.

Don't propose the one thing you are apparently bad at Sayuki.

"Ha ha tee hee" is harder to pull off than it seems.

But... didn't they splashed themselves with water before?

The pursuit of ultimate moe is a rocky road.

"Just as expected Hojo-kun. You are an expert in plebeian customs." - Dammit Sayuki, it must be hard to be so savage all the time.

Sayuki, practical as ever. Still believes in seeds growing in the stomach.

Rock, paper scissor, the gentleman's way of settling disputes.

Yep Hojo-kun, Sayuki wants to know all your erotic fantasies...It's for production, seriously!

Wait Sayuki, is that not what you expected? Those scenes always go like that.

It wouldn't be summer without fireworks. Burn normies, burn!

Holy shit, Andou apologized. Character development!

If you wake up surrounded by girls, things either went very well or very badly.

They escape unscathed? Lucky.

Yep, Sayuki has a way of bringing people together.

Oh come one Yuuki, I wanted to like you. Why do you have to turn into another jealous, possessive childhood friend?

But Hojo-kun, if they argue like that it means they are close, so don't worry.

Definietly better episode than the last one.

Sometime, I'd like to see the MC actually answer that question.

It would be great, as long as he not beat afterwards because some girl didn't like his answer.

I mean, Bunta got kicked for the horrible crime of having a conversation with Kuroda. I don't want to think what would happen to him had he answered.

...

For the record Kuroda had the best swimsuit.

For a small, simple romantic comedy game, this seems to be some hardcore stuff. Each time we get a peek in the scenario it's about blood, fighting and killing. Jesus guys, calm down.

Bunta hits another writer block, this time due to his ehm... lack of experience. He's a virgin!

The methods they try to inspire him were as creative as they were useless. Andou even tried to insert a plot twist, but was shot down.

We get some resolution to Yuuka character arc, as nonsensical and annoying it was. Hopefully it won't surface back any time soon.

Meanwhile Kuroda run out of patience with Bunta stalling and is putting him on a lock down. Uh huh, this is gonna be good. She even got a fricking helicopter.

I think they've got the average experience in dating to qualify for writing your average Visual Novel.

Sayuki acting like she's shot was the best part.

Worst part was easily the date, so I skipped watching most of it. The show would be better without her in it. I have less sympathy for her abusive tendencies than for Andou's lazy tendencies.

I'm really disappointed with the direction they went with Yuuka. She looked like a fun character at the start, but then turned out into a generic jealous, possessive childhood friend.

Episode 8: Bunta epic battle with productivity.

Being writer is suffering, and the greatest enemy reared it's head this time - the dreaded procrastination.

Hilarious episode with so many great moments. Bunta panic was amazing, and the ways they tried to motivate him even more so.

At the end of this challenge Bunta emerged victorious, and he did get his reward. And also Yogurt.

There's procrastinating, and there's plain running away from it.

It sounds so sincere when she says, "Cough, cough." Also, she had the best outfit.

Bunta reaction really was over the top. Like dude, do you suddenly hate working that much? Do you even plan to finish it?

Oh yeah, the cough had me fooled. With such incredible acting ability she could voice the netire game herself.

And yeah, that was one classy maid outfit.

Episode 9: Yuuka's fight with the idea of time constraints.

Seriously, Kuroda has work cut out for her. It's not the group abilities that are the problem, but their personalities. A programmer that's fickle to say the least, a writer who wanted to jump through window to get out of writing and a perfectionist seiyuu. It's like herding cats.

And that was like, third time Bunta had to bring someone back after they thrown a tantrum. That should be part of his job description.

Aww, that was really nice of Kuroda to say that. She's such a nice girl.

Oh, I think we'll finally find out what's the deal with her brother next episode.

So the worst character manages to find a way to be even worse. I would say the series would be better if she had gotten a little farther when he chased her, but that'd lead to a lot of angst about a terrible character, so it'd just be worse anyway.

Harsh. I mean, yeah she was acting childish and irresponsible, but still, wishing death upon her... harsh.
